Top front strap angle was too perpendicular to leg and cut into the front foot, right underneath the ankle.
Stiff and uncomfortable sandal comparably in the teva line. Teva's have been my favorite brand for sandals in general for years but my favorite ones like Pretty Rugged, and Meadow Luxe they discontinued. They're always changing many of the lines for trend reasons and sometimes the ergonomics suffer.

The Velcro on one of the closures was beginning to become disattached the first day I used them. I hope it doesn't progress because I need to use these for a long time - they weren't cheap!

I've been wearing Tirras for about 5 years now and loved every pair I've owned but something must have gone wrong with this pair. I ordered the mint green model and when they arrived there seemed to be a defect around the toe of the sole that made it feel like walking on pins. When I looked closely I could see bumps in the rubber itself that older pairs did not have. Back to Zappos they go. I'll try a different color and hope for the best.

The sandals are comfortable. But they are NOT the same color as advertised. I ordered the neutral multi color, which has a brown sole with a brown hue for the other neutral colors. I received a pair of sandals that did not match the picture. I called customer service and they couldn't find the color way sent to me in any of their records. They had me return the original pair and order a second one because the color sandal sent to me was incorrect by their own admission. I received the next pair, and it's exactly the same. It does not match the picture on the website.

I used to wear Teva sandals almost every day. But this new pair -- and I presume new design -- has a sole so hard it feels like walking on cement! After less than an hour feet started to hurt. I wore them at work for 5 hours and at the end was exhausted, feet and legs sore; took awhile to recover. I have heard this from a friend who also bought them recently.

I returned my item. The strap across the ankle is not cushioned enough. The canvas part of the strap rubs and is painful. I loved the look, but the comfort was lacking, even just walking around my house to test them out.

My foot has a very high arch, and instep. The strap across the foot, in front of the ankle, is too short. There isn't enough strap (strap not long enough) for the 2 pieces of velcro to meet, connect, and hold.

I like the fit of the sandals. But you have taken some of the reinforcing out of the straps, particularly the one that goes across at the ankle. It is only one layer, whereas the same style that I bought a few years ago had at least two layers, if not three. The straps feel wimpy, and they do not feel secure. I would only recommend to a friend if that one feature were corrected.

I like the look of the sandal. The problem is it has given me a huge blister after wearing them a couple of days.

I love my current Teva sandals in this same style. I bought a new pair during this sale because I plan to wear Tevas on an extended hiking/walking trip in the spring and wanted to start out with a fresh pair. But these new ones have a "ShocPad" under the heel, and on the left shoe, the letters saying "ShocPad" are raised up so much that they're bumpy under my heel. It's really pronounced, and it's distracting to walk on it because you feel like you need to remove some sand or something from under your heel. I think if I wear them for a long walk, it'll chafe and cause blisters. This is really a shame because otherwise I love them. At least there's a 30-day guarantee. I hope they can just exchange them for a pair that doesn't have such bumpy letters. The right shoe doesn't have that problem -- just the left! These will probably be fine if I wear them with socks on cool days, but I want the option NOT to wear socks. They're sandals, after all. Pretty bummed right now. Hopefully this will be resolved. But seriously, why make sandals that have pronounced bumpy ridges of letters under the foot?

Fit was good. The bottom of the shoe, on the sides, was slippery on smooth surfaces, such as hardwood and tile floors. Since I got these to wear inside and out and have knee problems, I am worried about slipping and hurting myself. An outdoor sandal should not be slippery on the bottom, very slick and strange material on sides of outsole.

Sadly got blisters from taking a 15 minute walk. They are nice looking and seem made from good quality materials but are very uncomfortable.

This pair was a poorly made.
Both shoes had strap seperate, which made taking on/off difficult.
Was on vacation so unable to glue back together, sad I would need to...

I bought the product because teva has a great reputation and I have owned teva sandals in the past and they were wonderful. The problem with these was there was not nearly enough overlap of Velcro. So I had to go out and purchase my own Velcro, glue and sew it on, in order to make these sandals wearable. I could not recommend the sandals unless the person purchasing them is willing to do what I did.

I wore this pair around the house for many days. They were quite comfortable except I would have liked to tighten them. They have about 3/4" of velcro on each strap. If you try to tight them just a 1/2" that provides only 1/4" velcro holding the straps in place. That will not last. I had to return them. They need to make at least one side of the straps with longer velcro so they could indeed be adjusted. It was a sad day.

I was hoping for a great walking sandal. These rubbed the top of my feet raw in two places. I paid more than I normally do in hopes of getting a super comfortable sandal.

I have been wearing these sandals for around a decade now. After the soles of my last pair finally wore through (after 4 years), I needed to get a new pair. These new ones are not made the same as my last 2 pairs. The quality is still good (which is why I'm giving at least 2 stars), but the cut is all different. The ankle part is much lower, so it doesn't go around my ankle the right way and actually cut into my skin. The ankle strap is also much shorter, so only about an inch actually fastens, leaving a bunch of the sticky velcro to attract everything including snagging your clothes if you're wearing a dress. The footbed is also cut a little smaller up near the toes, so my pinky toe sometimes hangs off to the side a bit. At least you can still adjust the front straps like before if you have a slightly wide foot like mine. And the heel feels much squishier than it used to be (not in a good way). The arch support is still there, and the good tread and quality strap materials, there's just less of it and it's all cut weird. I'm really sad. I used to love these sandals. I was able to go hiking in them and do watersports, but now they're too ill fitting and abrasive to walk more than a couple miles at a time.

Two different sized shoes. The right shoe was probably correct but the left shoe was likely a size 7. I had 7.5 pair to compare and the left shoe of this size 8 pair was smaller than the 7.5!

I'm a kayaker and have worn Teva's for decades, the construction is good quality and I like the support provided with the sandals having a shank,
I hate the fact the quick release buckle was discontinued. The spider rubber sole was changed, in the past it had great non slip traction, now the traction is beyond poor in water on rocks! And the antimicrobial properties also have changed, lasting for about 6 to 8 weeks. Two stars for its wearability as kick around footwear, NOT safe as water wear!

I own 2 other pairs of Tava sandals. I walked 6 miles in each style and they were perfect. Comfortable and not irritating in 100 degree heat. But the ones for which I am writing a review were disappointing. Sharp fabric edges and stiff straps. By the time I realized that it was beyond the date for returns, I was stuck with them.

I loved my old Teva walking sandals from a few years ago. They were pretty and very good quality. They held up extremely well. But the new material/style gives me blisters on the back of my heel as well as on the bottom of my foot. The material also wears out more quickly than with the style I bought in the past.
