this is a plastic sport sandal that looks good with any casual clothing. can wear it for most outdoor activities, but not sure of sole is grippy enough for rocks if hiking like some of the other teva sport-line sandals. I like that you can loosen the Velcro straps on the uppers to make them wider if needed.

I bought these for general walking purposes (hike around the local city park, out grocery shopping, etc). After wearing them for two weeks, I'm still adjusting the ankle strap in an effort to reduce rubbing. The rubbing is minor, and I can wear them all day regardless. The arch support us great and helps to make them all-day wearable. The toe strap configuration is very comfortable for me with plenty of room for my hammer-toe.

My 12 year old Tevas gave out right before a two week trip to the national seashore I couldn't risk using just any sandal as I knew I'd be doing at least 2 miles of trail walking each day. Tevas have given me so much reliable support to my clumsy feet over the years and I've been especially cautious since recovering from an ankle break. I googled high and low, but couldn't find my old leather pair (purchased twice in 20 years, mind you). In desperation, I ordered the lovely teal Tirra. It performed like a champ, without the need for a break-in period. My vacation mate was jealous of my comfort as she trudged around in her basic flops. My only complaint is that the material is slightly scratchy at the top. Nothing awful/no chafing - but it just didn't feel as soft as my well-loved leather champs. Will see how they fare after a bit more time, but I do love them.

I really like the style and the color (green) of this sandal. I thought that I could do well with an ordinary brand such as Teva, which everyone seems to like, but unfortunately, there is little arch support in these sandals compared to the Naot brand, which I am accustomed to wearing. Perhaps because I'm overweight, there just wasn't enough support in these shoes for my feet, so that a day or several hours in them is a fatiguing experience. Everything else about them is just fine. But I need the insole shaping of a Naot sandal, or a Dansko clog, to prevent fatigue.
I'd also recommend:
Naot, always; some Dansko and some Merrell

These sandals were true to size and I have narrow feet so the adjustable straps were perfect for me to size them. The ankle strap could have been a bit further forward for comfort. Love the color and the sole.
I'd also recommend:
Merrell, Keen

I have plantar fascitis and normally wear brands with orthotic style footbeds specifically for arch/heel pain but needed something more geared toward walking in trails/off sidewalks. Was surprised at amount of arch support and comfort. Not quite as high arch as orthotic brands but very substantial arch countour. Footbed is soft, cushiony and straps seem to be comfortable - no rubbing or irritation. Adjustable straps also nice. For rugged type sandal- much cuter and more feminine than most.

I liked how it looked and felt everywhere except on my ankle bone. It rubbed it raw. That area would not be able to be broken in, it was just how it fit my foot. I returned them due to this. I do have high arches and they had great support.

Comfortable, fully customizable for a little narrower or wider foot. Would be 5 stars if the foot bed wasn't made of plastic that doesn't breathe & is hot even indoors in ac. I have put a felt liner with an adhesive back on the foot bed & that takes care of the problem.

Purchased these in my regular size 9, and they fit perfectly. However, they feel kind of "clunky". Also, purchased the Tirra slide in aqua, and like them much better. Will probably keep both as they are comfortable for extensive walking.

I have one pair Teva, looking for a 2nd pair that is not too wide. Have narrow feet and need to be able to adjust shoe.

I am so discouraged! I ordered 6 pairs of shoes (Ecco, Merrell, Teva & Keen). All 6 are going back tomorrow. Seems to me that comfortable, sturdy, well-made shoes that look good are a thing of the past. I didn't particularly care for the look of this shoe on my foot, but was seriously considering keeping it until I crossed my ankles. The straps kind of caught on each other. Once fitted to my feet, the ends of a couple of the straps stuck out a little. It's picky, I know, but I like straps that curve around something to lay snug all the way to the end.

Have had Tevas for over 25 years and the sole is pretty worn. Getting married in Jamaica and thought maybe after 25 years it was time for a new pair. Have had the new ones for about two weeks now, they are as expected very comfortable and great in the rivers and lakes we have nearby. Can't wait to try them in Jamaica! The ONLY disappointment is that there are no longer Tevas that have buckles! Hoping the Velcro can handle the Rick's Caf plunge! : )

Love the color choices and the more modern and feminine styling. Very comfortable, supportive and secure for rugged outdoor use as Tevas are famous for. The shoe however, is not as flattering as I'd hoped. It feels a little wide which gives a sort of 'Flintstone Feet' look on me. Overall very pleased with the quality and construction. Would purchase again, perhaps the 'original' style with the toe separation will give a slightly narrower look.

Bought these to wear to music festivals. I needed something that could hold up to rain, sun, and uneven terrain, along with hours of standing. These are so comfortable and I love that they fit my wide feet. It is very helpful to have adjustable straps.

I bought these because I needed an everyday sandal with good arch support. I bought them in a size 8.5 because that's normally what I wear, but I could stand to go down half a size. All in all, I love these and I would buy them again.

The ankle strap hits my protruding inside ankle bone. Don't know if this is because my bone is too low compared to others. The shoes are so great and otherwise perfect to me.
