I really wanted to love this sandal! It's cute, comfortable, and fits the bill for what I was looking for in an athletic sandal. However...the strap around the back rubbed across my ankle bone wrong. It was enough to bother me just the hour I wore them around the house. I had to return, but appreciate Zappos great return policy!

The most comfortable sandals I have ever owned but had to throw them out because I could not get rid of the smell. I tried vinegar, washing them in the machine, air drying in the sun, nothing worked. Any suggestions on dealing with the smell before I plunk down my money on a second pair?

I purchased the shoes for a planned trip in which tons of walking was planned. I was surprised to find that they don't require a break in period at all for me. Fit is true to size and they are very comfortable. My only complaint is that I would truly like to wear them all the time and they are a little clunky, "granola" looking for my work day, darn it! Otherwise, they are a dream.

These sandals are very attractive and comfortable. I switched from ABEO to TEVA this time and I'm pleased.

I ordered these online based on great reviews because no stores had them in stock. I usually like to try on shoes and walk around the store for a while. I wore these all day when I got them and it felt like I didn't have shoes on - they were so comfortable! I plan to wear them to walk around Disney World next week! I did notice that I got small itchy bumps on the tops of my feet where the straps were, which is why I put chafes, but I think it was mostly due to the extremely hot humid weather and not the fault of the shoe.

Loved the sandal except for the grooves in the bed which tend to "pinch" as you step. I have other Teva sandals which have grooves but do not "pinch".

the velcro is separating from the strap at the end of the strap & only a couple of weeks old. looks like it was glued at the end rather than stitched like the rest of the strap.

Comfortable.I ordered these previously in the slide style and liked them. 4 stars because the comment I have on both is that although they have velcro on the straps so that the width can be adjusted, if you make them narrower, then there is quite a bit of excess strap, and the velcro doesn't extend far enough down the side of the sandal to keep the strap from sticking out. I wear a narrow shoe and of course many shoes and sandals only come in wide. Teva should take into consideration that some customers will be making a large adjustment, and would like to be able to fully secure the excess strap.

I love these sandals but, as I've found with other Tevas, the insole is hot! It won't stop me from wearing them but I do have to take them off once in a while!

I bought these shoes for an upcoming vacation and while I have decided not to use them for that purpose (no fault of the shoes, my family likes to step on my toes), I wear them almost everyday to work, to run errands, to go for a walk or shopping. They are extremely comfortable. I have two pair, one 7.5 and one 8. My normal size is a 7.5 wide and the 7.5 fits perfectly! The 8 fits well but is a little long, but just a little. I still wear them with no issues.

Love these sandals. I have VERY narrow feet, and after the sole of one of my Keen Whispers fell off, Zappos graciously exchanged them for this Teva sandal. I tried my usual 81/2, but they were too big, so I exchanged them for the 8, and they fit great. Adjustable straps enable me to make them fit my 3A feet, and the heel support especially makes them a lot more comfortable than my Keens ever were. Wore them camping and kayaking this weekend, and they stood up just fine. Now to wait and see if the soles stay on! I like the style, although the "tails" of the adjustable straps stick up a bit since I have to make them as tight as possible to fit, and Teva doesn't put enough Velcro on them to stay flat on the underneath strap. A. Shout out to Zappos who let me exchange my old Keens after 4 years. Best customer service EVER, and I've been around a long time.

I bought these for a trip in which we would be in and out of water a lot. I wanted a sandal I could hike in and use in ponds and streams, etc. The sandal is sturdy and comfortable, with good arch support, but I have found that the front straps are two wide. I had to take the sandal to a shoe repair shop to have them move the velcro in and trim the straps.
Be aware if you tend to have narrow feet.
I like the KAYENTA sandal better but with its leather back strap it may not be as suitable for water usage.

These are very comfortable, true to size and have great support. Only down side for me is I have fat ankles so i could barely get the strap to velcro. So I gave these to my other half who has small ankles and she loves them!!

Beautiful sport sandal! good arch support. There is a sharp point that sticks out on the top strap where the velco strap folds over to close. As I wore it around the house for a bit this sharp corner began cutting into my foot. A blister would have formed with long term wear.

Disappointed with this sandal and unfortunately wore them before discovering why.
Good points are: they are true to size relative to previous Teva. I've read they are a bit longer and I would agree, just a tad but my foot shape matches the toe shape.
Foot bed is cushy soft without squishy stickey-out rim I've seen on other footwear that looks primed to get torn with the first sharp encounter. I have reasonable arches and the arch is perfect. Sole is soft and flexible enough to be one with my foot and I can feel the ground but pointy things don't poke. The wicked thorns here I expect would poke thru with relative ease but I'm not planning to do battle in the yard with these (and meticulous about policing what I cut.) I'm tending to go to Wides but this Med is fine, perhaps a tad narrow but not causing any visual or comfort issues.
Not as cute as the pair they were to replace, but cute enough. Utilitarian enough for the lava shore and trails here, fine for boat diving and would glide into a skirt for dinner at an upscale restaurant (here in Hawaii) without skipping a beat.
They appear well constructed, the outer sole looks suitable for rough terrain, isn't trippy, likely to be durable and equally well suited to the sidewalk.
The two point adjustable toe straps accommodate the various bumps that protrude different places on each foot and the slender webbing is more feminine than the wide webbing styles.
Bad news is the ankle enclosure is a one piece fixed position with no heel adjustment. The material itself is comfortable enough but the rigidity positions my foot too far forward and my toes gravitate over the edge. I have not been able to crank down the forefoot straps enough to prevent it although well enough to leave deep indentations and abrasions (painfully) trying.
I'm not overweight and have no hint of kankles but the fixed ankle strap angle immediately abrades my skin no matter how loose. Even if the strap is cranked tight the padded portion under the webbing is almost all on the Right side of my ankle, rather weird actually. I couldn't figure out why that strap hit so wrong until setting another very similar design alongside and voila! The one piece is rigidly set at a sharp angle, a good 2 - 3" above the pair with floating web in a triangle. So the whole sandal fit is wonkey entirely due to the fixed ankle one piece enclosure system.
I tried these on before purchasing and was a huge mistake to concentrate on the feel of foot bed and fore foot adjustability and assume they just needed some tweaking to find the sweet spot. After decades of Tevas, this is the first pair I deeply regret getting. More and more each time I put them on, makes no difference if I'm sitting down, standing or walking. If I kick my heel real hard on the ground a few times I can almost get my foot back where it belongs, almost. And within 20 sec motionless or one step walking, no matter how tight I make the forefoot straps, the heel strap shoves it right back forward.
Since I've never had any problem with any Teva or ankle strap shoe before, I'm rather shocked about the whole thing. I see the reviews are quite good, perhaps claiming they run small and needing a larger size not minding having Frodo feet solves it for them. I have seen some very happy reviewers with photos displaying as much as 1-2" empty space in the front. I don't mind clunky footwear but I have Universals that I wear sloppy loose that look better than that.

I like everything about the sandal except the fact that the ankle straps are too short to overlap except for 3/4 inch and the strap lining therefore only protects part of my ankle. There is lots of Velcro that is not covered so it catches on everything. The place on the strap where there is no lining is scratchy.

I bought these to wear in Disney World, especially when in the parks that had rides where I would get wet. I wore them in the house for two days to make sure they would be comfortable for 12 hour plus days. I almost returned them. The strap across the ankle was not very comfortable. But I packed them just in case, and it poured rain, so I needed them. I am glad I did; they were super comfortable when wet. I don't know if that is what they needed to break them in, but they are just fine now. They lasted even on the longest days, 14 hours, and never hurt my feet. I highly recommend for a shoe that can get wet and still perform. They are not my favorite Tevas (hence the four stars), but they don't make my favorite ones anymore, and they were not the best for in the water being a softer leather.

Very comfy and feel solid on the foot. Adjusts well for my bunion feet. They look sporty, so not a dressy sandal.

Wore to a water park and my feet felt great up to hour 4. All the water on my shoes caused the shoes to chafe around my toes.

Most comfortable sandal foot bed I have ever experienced. Lots of cushioning, good grippy sole, great arch support, extra squishy under the heel. Great for walking. It almost makes up for how ugly they are. Almost.
I really wish Teva would make a cuter sandal with this foot bed.
I also wish they would be more consistent between different pairs of the same sandal. I ordered them in black on Amazon, thought they were hideous, sent them back in exchange for Raspberry, and discovered the same size in a different color fit totally differently. It was way smaller and didn't feel like the same sandal. I tried on some other colors in a local running store, and they were also totally different from the first black pair I had tried. So I tried again with black ones on Zappos, and they're just like the first black pair I ordered and returned. I don't know if it varies by color or what, but it was very frustrating. I like the look of the black ones the least, but I'm sticking with them since they're comfy.
