This could have been excellent except that not enough velcro area was provided in the forefoot to make the strap sufficiently adjustable for my narrow feet.

Just received these and will probably keep them. My only comment (and it may be an intentional feature!) is that the larger strap rather cuts into my ankle (comes up pretty high on the foot). Tried the larger size 9Ms already but the Velcro straps did not accommodate my somewhat narrow foot. I really need some comfy shoes so hope these work for me. I reside in Europe and do a fair amount of walking.

I was so hopeful about this sandal but have to return them. The Velcro straps on the front area of the sandal, did not extend enough to keep my foot snug in the footbed and the ankle strap came up too high. I was surprised not tio find an additional adjustable heel strap, since there are three other adjustable straps. Perhaps an 8.5 N would be better than a 9 M but that option does not appear available in this otherwise great shoe. I think longer Velcro would have been the answer, in my case, at least.

This would have been my second pair of this style - my others are probably 5 years old and only now is the sole showing some wear. With this pair the arch just didn't seem high enough for me - I have a very high arch. For people with moderate arch needs, this would be ideal - I love the color - just wish they would have worked better for me. Unfortunately I have to return them.

These Teva’s gave my foot great arch support and were comfortable on long walks on hard pavement. Plus unlike the Teva’s of old they are pretty attractive,I’ve worn them with casual skirts and dresses. The thinner straps make them look lighter than they are. Others have been too soft in the sole, making every rock on a trail too noticeable. The ankle strap could be a touch longer but they are long enough to make it work

These sandals were great, comfortable straps, fit my wide feet, seemed sturdy and rugged. The only problem I had with them was that the arch support did not fit my feet at all. The shoe hit my arch pretty far to the back of my foot, leaving a lot unsupported in the front. Unfortunately they never would have been comfortable for me because of this. I returned these and went back to wearing Chacos for water sandals because the arch support fits my feet so much better.

I was looking for a pair of walking sandals for an upcoming trip so I could ditch my sneakers with orthotics. Wonderfully comfortable, but lacking a bit in arch support, especially for those who normally wear orthotics. Also, design is a little too old lady like for my taste. I returned.

my feet run wide and these shoes run medium, but they adjust across the bridge of the foot and work fabulously. these are not my first pair of Teva Tirras. These shoes work and yet look great. i live in them all summer long. I have a pair of river shoes when i want to go in the water cuz these slip a little when you walk with wet feet. but if i come across water and am unprepared with my river shoes, these certainly can handle the job. i just have to dry my feet before i start hiking again. thanks teva! great products

I ordered both an 81\2 and a 9, because my feet are unfortunately one of each size. The soles of both were well cushioned and supportive. However, the straps were not well cushioned and soft enough for my 73 year old feet. I also have paresthesias and numbness issues, so they might work for you. I had to return both pairs. They are also quite nice looking, for a thick soled pair of sandals. The straps dig in where they join to the sole. Oh well.

I had to return the Teva Tirra sandals as they were too large. Also didn't care for the color. I can't comment on arch support as I did not wear them enough.

Gosh I love these but the ankle strap on the top of the foot dug in. Looking at them I see they were not sewn evenly and it affected the Velcro. I think I will try another pair and see if they are any better. If they would make more comfortable straps I would never take them off!

These were pretty comfortable with some cushion and moderate arch support for your foot, and not too matronly looking. I liked the pop of teal and coral on the straps! I am a 10.5 and ordered a 10 and felt it was true to size and width. Ultimately, if you're in between sizes, I would size up. Not crazy about the long length of the velcro straps though.

Nice shoe, like the blue color. BUT...straps across front of foot attach with strips of Velcro...if you need to make them tighter like I did, then the strips stick over where the Velcro is and half about 3.5" stick out like wings because there's no Velcro under them. Disappointed, need to return. OK if you don't need to adjust.

This sandal would be wonderful if only the heel had an adjustable strap. Sadly I'll return them and wait for an improved style

I read the reviews before purchasing. Was expecting no breaking in so took them on vacation. Got two blisters by the end of the first day. I like the shoe looks. I am hoping after more use, they will break in to be the comfortable shoes that people say they are. I do have a narrow foot and purchased them because of the adjustable straps.

I love the many adjustable straps on this sandal and they are very comfortable. I have a pretty significant bunion and these accommodated well! I bought them based on reviews as a walking sandal and durable enough for walking in Mexico on cobblestones and rough terrain. Even though the sole seemed well-grooved, they became slick on the wet sidewalks in San Miguel de Allende, which was very disappointing. But, to be fair, it seemed just about all shoes had that problem. I think they use Fabulosa even on the sidewalks! I honestly think, an even thicker, sturdier sole would have been more appropriate for my trip, but not sure if that exists. Overall, I love these sandals though and would most likely buy them again.

I love this sandal, and after wearing out my black pair I thought I'd try something different when I saw that this red color was on sale. Unfortunately, the gold threads woven in with the red are too abrasive. As soon as I put the red sandal on, I could feel that the straps had a stiffness to them. Even though the gold threads were buffered by the fabric on the underside of the straps, I could still feel the scratchy edges of the woven fabric. I hated to send them back, since they are nice looking and could be used for different occasions.
