Size and width are good. Adjustable straps make it easy to customize fit a little bit. Unlike most sandals of this type, there's pretty good arch support and the soles are cushiony feeling.

Footbed was comfortable. Straps a little stiff but would soften up over time. Liked that these shoes have an ultra-customizable fit. However, both my husband and my kids said they looked like "granny shoes". Back they go.

The actual fit was fine. I have VERY long, narrow feet (some refer to them as skis!). It is tough finding something long enough and narrow enough to work. While these were essentially comfortable, the straps themselves were a problem. In order to tighten them enough to actually "hold" my foot, there was so much strap left over, it was almost dragging the ground! Looked like I was wearing an octopus splayed across my foot! :) So, unfortunately, I have to return them. I will look for another style that might be easier to tighten.

I bought these to replace a pair of Teva sandals I've had for at least 10 years. The weren't attractive but were comfortable to walk in while traveling when I didn't want to wear sneakers. Worked great at the beach, too. But they have finally worn out. These are equally as comfortable in the footbed but have the added value of looking a little more ladylike than my previous pair because of the thinner looking straps and smaller heel. The adjustability lets you set a custom width which is good if you also have bunions. And the straps hide the bunions. My older pair had an adjustable heel strap but these don't seem to need that. They're sporty looking but I can still pull them off with some skirts and dresses. These will be travel with me often. I ordered the black and white pair and the bering sea and there was one difference: the bering sea strap is thicker which may last longer. The black and white pair the strap is like a ribbon with velcro.

My left foot is a little longer than my right foot. Therefore, the right foot leaves more room at the end my toes and end of shoe. In spite of this, feet do not slip out of shoe, so I will be keeping them.

So these fit just perfect however I felt they made my feet look Shrekish :D I think I just don’t like open toed sandals on myself. Otherwise these are comfy and fit is great. Just not my style in my big feet (size 9.5)

These are reasonably comfortable but don't think they have enough support for serious walking. They do have adjustable parts so that makes the fit nice. I do like these shoes.

Ordered same sandal in two colors, same size. This pair did not feel as comfortable as the other pair. Too wide for my narrow foot, even with the two adjustable straps across the toe and instep. Returning this pair, keeping other pair.

Cute, stylish, athletic sandal. A bit wide for my narrow feet but I can make them work. Thus four instead of five stars.

I tried at least 6 other sandals before finding these. Of all the ones I tried, these were not too wide for me. Additionally, this model lets you adjust straps at the ankle and at the foot; can't go wrong with that!

I have worn my Tirras on countless trips, including to Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and couple of weeks in India. I have foot issues and these are as comfortable for all-day walking as my ultra-cushioned Hoka Bondi sneakers, with no break-in required. I would give these 10 stars but for one annoyance: Teva, PLEASE make more of your shoes in a 10.5. Up to a 10, you offer half sizes, but it seems that we large-footed women aren't worthy of half-size precision. The 11s are just a bit long and awkward looking on me, but the 10s don't give me enough buffer at the toes. All that said, I HIGHLY recommend these, especially for travel.

Love the comfort and the front half of the look, but the thick ankle band on every one of their otherwise beautiful designs leaves them looking like grandma shoes (sorry, grandma).

Looking for a pair of sandals to wear for an upcoming BVI trip. I'm not one for this kind of sandals -- too many wide straps and velcro (ugh). I'm a flipflop sort of girl, but at the recommendation of the hubs (better for your feet, my dear :) ), I caved and bought these because I love Tevas. On my feet the looks of them are a bit clunky (for my tastes) - so the "look" isn't MY favorite (my opinion). The catcher is -- these are really comfortable shoes. They feel like "protectors for my feet" shoes. They felt good the moment I put them on and I love the mango color. These are keepers - and I'm sure I'll get used to the "look" of them.

My co-worker raved about these sandals so I had to give them a try as I am looking for a nice walking sandal for the summer. I felt like the sandals were very nice quality and would buy them another time, but maybe a half size smaller than my normal size as they seemed a tad big on me so unfortunately I will be sending them back.

I have a terrible time finding water shoes that fit my narrow foot. These are good because they adjust in 3 places so you can really customize the fit. The footbed is a little wide for my aa foot but they work and feel secure.

I like this way this shoe looks for a "comfort sandal." It is not too bulky, and the black and white pattern has a classic feel. I have not worn these extensively, yet. I'm hoping the fabric will soften, as it is rough/coated feeling, kind of like ship's rope. I'm thinking time/wear will help it develop more give.

These shoes were really cute and felt great everywhere except for the strap around the ankle. It hit me in the wrong place and the top of the strap cut into my ankle. Hated to have to return them.

In most shoes I wear a 7.5. When I tried these on and wslked around my home I was a little concerned maybe an 8 would be better...so I ordered an 8 through ZAPPOS. Comparing the two, I decided the 7.5 was the better fit. The size 8 straps were too roomy and the foot bed felt like the arch was a bit off. I admit that i haven t yet hit the trails but i will be - these will be ny "go too" sandals for Surfari 2019, starting this November. Daily treks to remote surf spots in Mexico where last year, my high mileage 12 year old TEVA's finally said "No More". These Teva Tirra's have a tough sole to fill and I hope they're up to years of adventure!

I liked these sandals a lot, but they fit me strangely. My feet and the orientation of the of the foot bed were at odds, leaving about a half inch or more of the foot bed showing with no foot on top of it. My feet were oriented toward the opposite side. There was enough room for my feet, but it looked like my feet and the sandals were going different directions. I returned them. They were comfortable and had good support, so I was sad I had this problem with them.

I purchased these to replace my beloved Teva Pretty Rugged Sport Sandals, which after about eight years were separating at the rubber sole layers. My husband glued them up for a temporary repair, and I ordered some Original Universal Tevas with a similar appearance. After receiving them I realized the Original Universal Tevas were a sorry replacement and seemed flimsy. Also the foot bed was so wide as to look ridiculous on my narrow feet. I sent them back using Zappo's awesome return process. When I called Teva, they told me the Tirra was meant to replace the Pretty Rugged. The Tirra has two forward straps, where the Pretty Rugged only had one, so the extra adjustment looks to be an improvement. The Tirras seem to fit well, except once again the foot bed is wider than on my Pretty Ruggeds, so they look klunky in comparison (but thankfully less awkward than the Original Universal Tevas that I sent back). The foot bed, does, however, have some heft to it so seems supportive enough to withstand rocky hiking trails and river trips. The gros-grain straps are nicer looking than the nylon straps on the Pretty Rugged. Only time will tell what the Tirra straps and sandals look like after they have been abused like my Pretty Rugged sandals.

Well, must say, I'm disappointed, in the end. I'm wearing them now and have been doing so for the past few days but have blisters on the tops of both my feet, where the 2nd/middle of the three straps connects/overlaps. The smaller size exchanged for, solved the earlier problem of the straps' Velcro strips not being long enough to hold in place. I also find that the upper strap in both the size 8.5 and size 9, comes up so far on the foot as to cut off circulation. I always have to loosen the shoes when seated. That doesn't seem right/necessary. Guess I should have returned these too but I will wear them a bit longer. Guess Teva brand's not made for me. On a positive note, I love the foot bed. Very comfortable and airy feeling. Great arch support.

I searched high and low for a walking sandal for Italy Trip. These have great support and with the moderate arch support, my orthotic fits it perfectly. Many new sandals have such great arch support, its too much for adding my orthotic and I can't walk with them. I have wide feet and these fit well. My only concern is that the strap that goes over the arch of the foot hits me in a funny spot and I wish the strap was longer. The more I wear them, the less this is an issue so I am hopeful my feet with be as happy as my tummy in Italy!
