I wish there was something beyond "excellent" for arch support. These are absolutely perfect for my feet, and I am used to wearing "support" running shoes or fancy inserts during the cooler months of the year. These are the most supportive sandals I've ever purchased.

Bought my third pair of these. Over the years they have changed a little. I think this is the most comfortable pair I've had, and it is the first pair that I didn't have to add velcro to to make them accommodate my slim (AAAA) feet. Happy!

These shoes feel amazing on. I have had multiple foot surgeries and was looking for a stable shoe for beach and boat. I wish I could wear them everywhere. Personally not the cutest but the comfort factor is worth the purchase.

I love these and had the same pair for so many years, the tag had worn off, so I couldn't read the size I'd ordered. I normally wear a 7.5 in regular shoes. This was way too short in this sandal. I then ordered an 8. That was good if I'd only wear these to work and around town, but I've done serious hiking in these and don't like my big toe anywhere near the edge of the shoe where it can get stubbed by rocks or roots, so I ordered again. 8.5 was perfect, and is what my older pair was - if I'd only been able to read the worn label. I'd have gone another summer or 2 with my old pair as the tops are still in great condition. It's just the soles had worn through. Great durability.

I ordered these for an upcoming trip to Greece in hopes I could walk the cobblestone streets in comfort and feel secure. These received such high marks for this kind of travel that I am hopeful they will work out perfectly. So far, I’ve found them to be very comfortable, stylish, and quite lightweight. I’ve not put them to the true test yet but feel they should work out just fine!

I really wish I liked these shoes, but they were uncomfortable on my feet. I so wanted to like these shoes. The soles just felt uncomfortable across the bottom of my foot.

I almost returned these because I felt that the straps were uncomfortable on my ankle and upper foot. They are well cushioned and good walking sandals, but I stand by my first impression that the upper straps aren't quite as comfortable as they might be. Would like to see Teva provide some more feminine / stylish / playful options, as well. I know the company bought Ahnu a while back, but there's not much evidence of Ahnu in the Teva product line -- so maybe it was only a move to eliminate that brand.

Sizing chart not accurate. measured my foot and ordered size 6 1/2. When I got the sandal my big toe on my right foot stuck out over the edge. I returned the sandal and got a size 7. Even with the larger size my toe goes right to the edge. On one foot the strap was abrasive and caused a skin tear. Had to wrap some moleskin around it. Overall not very satisfied but I bought this sandal because my old pair wore out after several years and I loved that one.

This is my 2nd pair of Teva Tirra sandals. I normally wear a size 10W, and I believe my first pair (from about 5 years ago) is a size 10. This time I had to return the 10s for an 11. Not sure if the difference is in my foot or in the sandal. The velcro-adjustable straps are great because I do have a wide foot, and the sandals only come in one width. They fit me fine. These are great sandals, very comfortable, easy on and off. I have plantar faciitis and flat feet, and the support is perfect for me. I will definitely be purchasing sandals from Teva in the future.

Love the footbed! Great heel cushion, heel cupping, arch support, sole thickness, texture, etc. Better for my foot than Chaco, Ecco Yucatán, ABEO, etc. I’ve tried them all. (Chaco is also darn good but the texture can give my toes blisters as i press down with toes during walking). I have slightly narrow, thin feet with longs toes, plantar fasciitis. The straps, however, seemed to vary. My favorite color, navy, had really scratchy ankle straps. Darn!! But the aqua was fine but Zappos was out of this size. ? The length ran short, had to go up to 11 tho I’m a 10 in sandals about 75% of the time. So had to cinch the Velcro tighter at front, making the extra strap curl up at ends, not cute. So 1 Star off for too much strap and scratchy ankle.

These damdals were recommended by more than one froend when they heard I was going to Disney World for the first time. I was told they would be comfortable, waterproof especially after walking for a long period of time. I had a foot injury a few months ago and the adjustable straps helped to keep my feet comfy. Would highly recommend to others.

I've bought Tirras for ten years. They have recently begun disappointing me. I can't believe they save that much money shortening the straps across the ankle, but this year I can barely get the strap to meet the velcro. I still have a pair from two years ago and I have an inch and a half, two inches onto the velcro with that model. I'm so disappointed in Teva for compromising their quality to save a few dollars.

I love these Teva Tirra sandals. This is my third pair. They are sturdy and very comfortable. This model, however, has a different ankle strap than the other older ones I own. The strap on these sandals is only one layer of fabric and it twists in the plastic holder. This is annoying because suddenly the strap fits more loosely than it should and I have to tighten it. The reason for the twisting is there is only one layer of fabric on this part of the strap. The other two pairs I have have two or more layers and they are unable to twist. I can foresee that this piece of fabric which holds the sandal on the foot will eventually break because it is not reinforced in any way. I am considering returning the sandals or at least talking with someone at Zappos about the problem. I love the color and everything else about the sandal but if the strap doesn't work now and eventually breaks, the sandal is useless. Very disappointing. Does anyone else have this problem? I will attach a couple of images.

I wanted to love this sandal. I've worn Tirra sandals before and love the comfort, design and longevity the sandal provides. I really loved the multi-color design of this style. However, during my trial walk in this sandal, the strap across the ankle could not support the stress of walking. In the multi-color sandal the strap is made of a nylon ribbon-like material that bunches up in the plastic ring, causing the back, heel portion of the sandal to slip slightly. I could not walk more than a couple of blocks without feeling my heel slip away from the support of the sandal. My other Tirras do not have this problem, as the material across the ankle is made of a stiffer fabric which does not fold inside the plastic ring. Sorry to have to return these!

Please reconsider making an adjustable sandle for a narrow foot, and narrow heel. I always purchased Teva for the flexibility and fit but now the straps cannot be adjusted adequately to safely wear your sandle.

I purchased these for a trip to Hawaii to use as hiking sandals. They were more comfortable than the Chaco sandals that everyone seems to have. WAY more comfortable. The trails in HI were very muddy, so I didn't end up using them as much as I'd like for hiking, but I did like them for all day walking around. I also took them to Vegas where I walked a TON in them. They have good support, are breathable and much better than flipflops for long days on your feet.

These fit like a dream and are so comfortable! I use them for fitness - brisk walking (4+mph) and sometimes even interval sprints. As other reviewers have noted, they were comfortable straight from the box. I'm ordering another pair!

Con: Deal breaker - ankle strap just a bit high on my ankle to make it uncomfortable. Loosening the strap to accommodate for this glitch makes the shoe unstable. Pro: All the straps are adjustable which is a plus.

These would give me blisters. Just wearing them around the house for an hour I can feel discomfort where edges of straps and stitching on underside of straps rubs my skin. The color of the base is light grey, not taupe. Sad to send them back and continue the search for a hiking sandal.

Great sporty/casual style and especially like the adjustable straps across top of foot and at ankle. Major issue I had was the placement/comfort level of the design on the bottom of the shoe. There are some indentations on the bottom of the shoe that pinched my foot when I walked. I have a similar style Teva (Verra) purchased previously which is great with this same design - but the previous model did not pinch my foot.

Gosh, I tried to keep these because of the great style and comfort features. But, they just didn't have enough arch contact for me, and the footbed was too slim for lots of walking in my feet. I need a thicker outsole with more cush. Lovely Tevas, tho.

I own two pairs of this style. One pair I bought to be my "reception sandals" at my daughter's wedding, because I needed comfortable footwear. After the wedding, I ordered another color, and pretty much just alternate between the two pairs. I have a lot of problems with my feet, but I love these sandals. I can adjust the straps to conform the shoe to my foot. When the tan pair in my size is back in stock, I will order that as well.
