I did a lot of review-reading before purchasing these sandals and the reviews were spot on. These shoes are very comfortable! The velcro makes them wonderfully adjustable and they look quite nice for an athletic sandal. I wore mine for the first time on a SUP paddle board trip down a mild river and they worked perfectly.

I just got my newest teva Tierra's. I've been buying this style for many years ( note to Tiva : please keep making these.!) The arch support is wonderful. I have a very bad back,knees,etc. it's so great to have such a supportive shoe that doesn't look orthopedic. I live in Florida, so, aside from jogging shoes, I wear these exclusively . Oh - I walk on sand, through puddles and sometimes in salt water. Every now and then,I throw them in the washing machine. They hold up for years. I never write reviews , but I am so grateful for these sandals ,I had to recommend them and say "thanks Teva"

I've worn Keens as my summer adventuring shoes for years and was looking to get something a little different this round. I started with Chaco but even after adjusting I found the footbed uncomfortable (most notably where the strap comes out of the shoe on the outside / back of the foot). I've always loved Teva mush and liked that these don't have any hard connective bits. I'd agree with some other reviews that the front of the ankle strap is somewhat high, and also find that the back of foot strap hits somewhat low, but the combo feels stable and, after several casual ventures up to about 2mi has not been uncomfortable. In particular, the back of foot strap is super foamy and is rub-free; I think if anything could get rubby it'd be the over-foot straps, but adjusting straps should help prevent that, too. Overall, the sandals feel very stable and grippy, seem to dry pretty quickly, and I'd put them at the top of the looks pile for this category of shoes, too. Thank you (as always), Teva!

Great shoe - gives my foot good support and super comfortable.

I have three pairs of these sandals which speaks loudly and clearly that they are the best! My chiropractor recommended then when I had plantar fasciitis. Great recommendation! I have the black with taupe (I was so worried that they would be discontinued as most of the "really good" shoes eventually are) and the black metallic with little silver threads (found these at Nordstrom one year) which makes them more dressy. For pool exercise, beach and ocean walking, exercising, touring, shopping, etc., these sandals are unbelievable for comfort and support. Mine have gone into a chlorine pool for years now, and there's no sign of deterioration. They dry quickly. I do have narrow feet, and, fortunately, I know how to sew, so I sewed more velcro on the straps to snug them up a bit. It was easy to do and efficiently solved my problem. I don't think they are the loveliest sandals on earth, but who cares when one is on vacation and no one sees your feet under a table while dining! You will have grateful feet and legs! Got for it!

These sandals are extremely comfortable and I am very happy to have found them. I saw someone wearing them and I liked the look so I ordered them. I am really glad I did. I have bad feet and these are really comfortable sandals!! Highly recommend!!

I have a few Teva’s and each one is great but have their own personality. The Tirra is a a more cumbersome style- a heavy, supportive, durable sole with lots of straps. I too had a little trouble with rubbing, but minor adjustments in the straps take care of that. These are great shoes.

Incredibly comfortable with no break-in period. These shoes easily got me through three days at Red Rocks in varying weather, from hot to cold and wet. This is my first pair of Tevas, and I couldn't me more pleased.

Great sandals! Straps don't pinch toes. They are waterproof and cool. I can wear them for hours without pain in my fussy feet. I loved mine so much, I bought a pair for my 84 year old mother whose feet swell. All of the straps are adjustable so when her feel are swollen she can adjust accordingly. Perfect! She even thinks they are cute! These are my go-to summer sandal.

I LOVE this sandal.. Right out of the box took them on vacation to the Utah National parks hiking and my feet were fine! No breaking in, comfy, cool... Cannot stress how much I love these sandals. They don't make your foot look big at all, very flattering... For women with bunions, you must get these! They not only hide your bunion but they do not hurt..

I love them. I get compliments all the time. They’re great for every day use or at a waterpark. You can wash them easily when they look dirty.

These sandals are so good that I have three pair (one worn out, for gardening) and my husband has two. He finds the size 11 women's perfect for his men's size 9 feet. Teva doesn't make this exact sole for its men's sandals, and you want this sole. It's very light, very supportive (I usually wear an orthotic for a neuroma but can go all day in these without it), durable, and it has good traction. The only trouble with these is they're getting harder to find, and I don't want to shop Zappos because of their marketing of retail products that profit the trump family, which feels very sleazy to me. Be better, Zappos!
