I wear a 10-11 depending on the brand and found that (for me) the fit adjusts just enough to make these fit perfectly if I fasten the straps in a certain order. If I tighten the straps near my toes first, then the ankle strap, my heel slides back enough to make the shoe fit comfortably. If I went up a size these would be too big, so this was a good solution...I give props to my hubby for suggesting this solution.

Fit and support is great in these. I have been up and down Hawaiian mountains and climbing over lava on the beaches with absolutely no problems. I know they aren't for hiking but they are great for almost anywhere you know there will be water and you don't need ankle support. they are also stylish enough for the neighborhood pool and around town as sandals. This is my second pair. didn't want to be without. My first pair is still in great shape and support after 4 years of use.

These look great and I really like the fit. The adjustable straps are perfect for adjusting to your toes and arch. Comfortable right out of the box.

If you end up walking 500 miles on the Camino Santiago with these you will be thinking they are the most amazing shoes in the world! That's what happened to me and my Teva's still look good! You can wear them with socks or no socks and the straps adjust to your foot. The soles are study and grip surfaces well. I can't say enough about these sandals. They are well made and worth every penny. I just bought my second pair.

This is my second pair of Teva Tirra sandals I have bought. The color is great and goes with many of my outfits. I need support for my ankles and these sandals do the trick. Very pleased with them. Will probably buy another pair in another color to add to my collection.

True to size. I'm a 9.5 M. Have walked multiple miles, and am totally happy. These feel like walking barefoot, but better. Better because the fit around the ankle and foot is adjustable, they cushion against hard surfaces, and feel very lightweight. These are totally aerated "sneakers." I totally love this these sandals. Walking, low hiking, these are great. Put these on, and you won't feel like you are wearing any footwear at all. An added bonus is these can be washed.

The most comfortable sandal I have ever worn!!

The fit on these shoes is adjustable as far as width is concerned. My friend and I both bought the medium width shoe, but by adjusting the straps on top, they fit both her narrow feet and my decidedly wider ones. I have a bone spur on my big toe that most sandal straps rubs on and cause pain, so being able to adjust all the straps is awesome. I have almost worn out my first pair of these sandals. I wear them on the treadmill at the gym, long walks, in wet places, and for every day use. I scrub them down when they get dirty and go out again! Great shoes! Wish I could afford a pair in every color.

So thankful to find a pair of sandals that are actually comfortable to walk in with my wide feet and bunions. I had about given up. Thank you, Teva!

I have very wide feet (a D or E) and these are super comfortable. I went up 1/2 a size and adjusted the top straps and they are perfect.

These sandals are so comfortable right of the box! I attended a festival where I was on my feet for two days. These sandals were extremely comfortable. They got filthy, but was able to wash them right up and they look brand new again. Love them.

First Tevas I've ever purchased. Very comfortable no breaking in required and they're adjustable. I would recommend these sandals and I'll probably buy another pair or something similar.

I love these Teva Tirra sandals-- this is my second pair. My shoe size is usually 7.5 / EUR size 38. My other Tirra sandals (Grenadine) are about 2 years old. At that time, I ordered size 7.5 and they fit fine. This week, from Zappos, I ordered the Black/Gray pair: size 7.5 and they were too small-- footbed was too short. The tag inside the sandal was exactly the same as my old pair: US 7.5 / EUR 38.5. I called Zappos, and they immediately sent me out a new pair size US 8. This pair fits PERFECTLY. If you look at the size chart for Teva: they use EUR size 38 for sizes US 7 and 7.5 and 8. I guess if you wear 7.5 - 8: order the 8. At least for Black/Gray. I definitely recommend these Tirra sandals: they are so adjustable: you can keep making them comfortable as you're wearing them. They have very good arch support for walking, and they look great. I am always on the lookout for Tirra sales because you can never have too many pairs of these sandals!

I have been a Teva fan for years and I especially enjoy the Tirra style. These fit perfectly and arrived very quickly. My only quibble is that the over the arch straps weren't glued to the Velcro very well and I had to re-glue them before wearing them. These are waterproof, but if you wear them in puddles or rain, your foot might slide around in them. They have some arch support and a very good sole.

Very comfortable and adjustable for my narrow foot. Also, I like the fact that the inner sole of the shoe is not a microfiber fabric that holds odor and is very cleanable.

I ordered these sandals because I had the same ones a few years ago (my puppy chewed them) and I replaced the destroyed ones with the leather version. The leather ones fit perfectly, but simply wore out. Also, they were not water resistant. These synthetic Tirras have excellent fit and support and look great for casual wear. I wish they made a waterproof leather version--but I highly recommend these.

I bought a pair of the Teva Tirras six years ago. I finally wore a hole in the heel (SIX YEARS! And LOTS of walking) and was sad because I just knew there would never be another pair of sandals I would love as much. Lo and behold, Teva is still making them. My new pair fits exactly like my beloved old one. I am ecstatic! My daughter bought a pair a few years ago because she loved mine. Hers have not worn out yet, but I know when they do she will buy another pair of Tirras.
