I had worn the Elixer sandals for a long time. Ordered the Katavi [...]These are just as good.

I just lost a pair of Elixer's that I have worn for the last 6 or 7 years to the new Puppy...
I was sad to see they are no longer in production...Sooo I went with the Katavi and they are a close 2nd...HUGE Teva fan...Katavi's look and feel great on my feet....THANKS...

Picked them up at a discount store...great deal. Wearing for two years, very comfortable, secure on my foot and great traction. Sole separated last week. Gorilla glued it back together, but ordered a new pair anyway. Worth the $.

Slightly higher arch and shoe would be perfect.

Extremely comfortable and fit as advertised. These sandals have excellent arch supprot but have excellent cushioning. They fit as advertised so order your normal size. The only drawback was the durability as the toe strap will not last past about 40 miles.

I found a pair of Teva flip-flaps buried in the sand at Pismo Beach and they were the most comfy flops I ever wore. This pair of flops lasted me until last month, at least 8 years, and who knows how long the person that lost them had them before they lost 'em! I'm sure they were sorry they left them buried in the sand that day! The new pair of flops are of higher quality and I'm positive they will keep me comfy and happy for years to come. I'll never buy another brand of casual sandal-type shoes.

Overall this sandal is made very well. However, the material the footbed is made out of packs out really fast. It is a bummer because the sole and rest of the sandal are still good but they become uncomfortable to wear.

A lot of the weight of this thong is in the heel creating a clunky feel when walking. Definitely feels durable though and maybe I'll get used to it with more wear.

I really like TEVA but I have four pair, two are kept together with gorilla glue because the separted at straps and one pair the soles came apart. This happened after getting them wet fishing and at the beach. They lasted about two years. the comfort is outstanding and exceeds the durability.

My husband loved these flip flops, the only ones I could ever get him to wear actually. Today he left them by the side of the pool and in less than an hour the foot pad had came unglued from the sole and was shrunk and curling. We tried to stretch them back to normal size and the adhesive was still pretty tacky so we attempted to adhere it back to the base. They definitely aren't the same and the foot pad is not flush with the outer sole. Although you might think you can leave your flip flops by the pool, it's not the case with these! He has only had them for about 3 weeks, so they are basically new! So disappointing!

I tried this shoe in search of a good water shoe. I found it to have a slippery foot bed. More so than older Teva flip flops. A few times I found my foot sliding sideways off the bed and the shoe staying in place. Possibly the straps are to long, but that just adds to the fact that this is a good shoe for a casual stroll where one may encounter some water. For me it is not the ultimate river guide shoe.

I have had two pair that I've had to return after roughly one year (IN new england that's only 4 months)
Both seemed to have problems with the glue used to make up the sandal.
In both cases your company took care of it, but it did cost me $21 to send them back!!!!!

I returned this product because the arch support didn't work for me - it was minimal at best. If I am going to pay this price for flip-flops then I expect more. My old Teva flip-flops have gotten 9 years of hard use and they STILL had more arch support than these.

something in the right foot flip-flop has stretched or ripped internally. I felt it happen, but it is nothing visible on the outside. It just feels looser than the left foot.

This sandal is extremely comfortable. The sole's footbed is soft, yet supportive. Unlike other flip flops, the strap is wide enough to keep the sandal from sliding around on the foot, but not so wide that it is uncomfortable. However, I am quite disappointed with the durability of this product. The fabric portion of the strap that goes between the toes tore completely through on one of my flip flops, which were only worn casually/gently and well cared for. I would have expected them to last much longer, especially since I have other flip flops that cost a fraction of the price that have lasted years.

This is my second pair and the only reason that I give it another try is that the first pair was extremely comfortable. BUT, the quality control is extremely lacking. The soles delaminated from my first pair within 3 months. I glued them back on twice (shoe goo) but it never seems to last. I bought this pair hoping the poor quality of the first pair was a fluke. If this pair falls apart within a few months then I'm done with Teva. They're comfortable sandals, but they cost way too much to replace every 3-4 months.
Hopeful,

I live in the country, work outdoors, walk up and down rocky hills, sometimes in wet grass. These slippers are terrific: comfortable, and the tread keeps me from slipping. When they get too dirty and I want to wear them to town, I take them in the shower and scrub them. Very happy with them until:
The lower part separated from the upper part. What kind of glue should I use to glue them back together??? There is still a lot of tread left as they aren't quite a year old yet, and as far as I am concerned, they still have a lot of life left in them!! For the $$ I paid here on Maui, I would hope they would last much longer.
(BTW, when I bought these, I didn't know they were for men---I happen to be a woman!)
