As a lady with ginormous bunions, I had qualms about ordering these men's medium-width shoes but oh! happy day! The three velcro straps allow for so much custom adjustment, the sandals fit comfortably right out of the box. No break-in period required. An added aesthetic bonus is that my bunions themselves are concealed by the toe strap, which has the effect of making my feet look narrower. Yay!

I love this Teva more than I love practically anything in the world. It's got the feel I've been searching for, as I have a morton's neuroma, and for the first time in years, I can walk without any pain. I'm buying another pair. This should be target marketed to older people. It's great!

I have had Teva sandals before and have found them sturdy and comfortable. In fact they have been among the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. So imagine my surprise when I first put on the new Teva Oberns and found them excruciatingly uncomfortable. The arch was too far back into the heels and felt hard and unforgiving, and the soles were barely flexible. I could hardly believe it. But it occurred to me that maybe these sandals just needed a bit of adjustment and a little time to break in. So I loosened the heel straps and tightened the toe straps and resolved to wear them only for short intervals until they felt better. One week later I can say that these sandals are extremely sturdy and extremely comfortable. All that was needed was a little time to break them in.

Borrowed a friend's pair while on a January trip to Austin owing to unseasonably warm temps. These are the sandals I've wanted all my life.

These are awesome right out of the box! The best arch support I've ever had in a sandal.

Have looked for years for a replacement for my tattered, flapping soled leather Tevas - at a great price! Kept checking back and finally you had them. I live in them. No need for my orthotics.

It took about 2 weeks for me to break these in. I use them for long walks daily and once broken in, they are just wonderful. My feet don't hurt and they have some of the greatest support I have found.

I have been wearing these sandals for one month, and have been very satisfied with them. They fit my narrow feet well. These sandals are so comfortable, I plan to purchase a backup pair.

The Teva Obern sandals are a slightly different version of the Teva sandals I have been wearing for years and when I received them I noticed that the soles were thick rubbery material. At first I didn't know if would like them, but after wearing them I find them greatly superior to the hard sole model. (A lot less tripping because the sole catches.) The sandals arrived within a week of my order which was also pleasant.

I ordered 6 Teva sandals and this was the only one with a good arch support. It was also by far the most comfortable and the most adjustable (toes, heel and over the ankle). The sole is extremely soft and comfortable. I almost didn't order it because of the price... well worth it!

I purchased these Tevas for my husband as a gift. He had a previous leather pair that he literally wore out after years of heavy use. So I didn't hesitate getting them again. He loves them, claims they are extremely comfortable and well made. They are also versatile to wear with casual or more dressy clothing, which is really nice. We would both highly recommend.

I almost made the mistake of choosing sandals that cost half of this model. Don't dilly dally like I did and just buy what you know is quality. If you are looking for a sandal with exceptional comfort and some arch support (which is hard to find in any sandal unless you get custom fit cork) then pick up this model. My first excursion was roaming around Arts Fest in Happy Valley all weekend and my feet don't show any signs of fatigue. I also got these wet at the pool the first day I had them and they dried quickly and were ready for the next day. Bonus is that they look good with anything you wear and you don't look like every other person out there.

I considered the less expensive model, but said what the heck lets go with the shock heel. Glad I spent the extra money. They are super comfortable and easy to break in. I have walked 6 miles in these sandals and I could go another 6. The only con is the price, a little steep. Zappos shipped faster than expected and the color and fit were true to the site.

I bought these for my husband to replace an old pair of Pretty Rugged Tevas. He likes them just as much. Comfy and form-fitting (with the 3 velcro straps). They are kind of a minimalist style, no contrast top-stitching or extra details.

I was going to send them back because the topmost strap had to be stretched to the limit to fit, but I decided to break them in and they are very comfy now-- a few weeks later. Only half the Velcro shows on the top. The rest fits really well and the soles feel incredibly wonderful. The shoe is hearty and I've always hated shopping so I'm happy with them, just not quite ecstatic.

Overall this sandal was good, but the arch support was very high and stiff. So high and stiff it hurt my feet. These sandals were comfortable other than the arch. Definitely a quality product.

While the Teva Obern is comfortable and I love the style, they just don’t hold up. The black section of the sole is paper thin and has been peeling off allowing the true whitish color to show. My last pair of Tevas lasted 10 years, these less than one.

I've got blisters on me feet! Not very comfy and despite weeks of trying to get my feet to callous up, these just rubbed raw, bloody blisters into my feet.

The shoes are too small. I had to adjust the strapping to make it work. The arch support was a bit high for my taste. The insole is made with a synthetic surface which sticks to my feet. Though the shoes are good looking and well made, these issues made them unusable for me.
