Excellent performance like the original Teva River shoes. Order a full size to size and a half smaller than you usually do as they run very large. Nice surprise! They float if you take them off because of the increase cushion in the heel.

This is my fourth pair of Teva sandals. I absolutely love them. They are the most comfortable pair of footwear that I have. That"s all I wear 6 months of the year. I highly recommend them to all my friends that wear sandals. Though a little pricey, they last for years even after being worn everyday for 6 months per year. I"m actually still wearing my first 2 pairs also, one for outside yard work and one for daily pool service work. New pair is still for indoor work. I also love the ease at which I can browse and purchase them through Zappos without having to go out shopping. I rate them at an unbelievable A++

Great shoes. Teva has been copied by many but they are still great shoes. They run really big, I normally wear a 10.5, I ended up with a 9.5 and I should have got a 9. Zappos was awesome on my returns as I worked my way through this size dilemma! Way to go Zappos!

Typical Teva style and fit. Nothing bad to say. After wearing these for about a month the show developed a slight noise/squeak when walking. More annoying than anything but thought I would comment on that.

The souls aren't as thick as they use to be, the support isn't what it use to be, they last about half as long as they use too, and they're about twice as expensive... That said this is my second pair in three years.

Straps are nylon, so they aren't as comfortable as others. Since they aren't stiff enough to support themselves while loose, a foot can't be slipped into them -- they have to be pulled on.

Love the sandals after 16 months except for one fatal flaw. Soles progressively started coming unglued after about 10 months. I wear them about 2times a week and use them for kayaking surf fishing and some hiking/camping stuff and I love the support and the spider rubber really works well on slippery rocks. I tried to reattach the soles with contact cement, but it really doesn't hold. Everything other part of the sandal has held up well except the soles' glue job. The flopping soles create an unexpected trip hazard. This is seriously disappointing in sandals costing this much. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a couple of years of service. It's not like I'm a guide using them every day. Buy a tube of contact cement to carry with you if you're buying these. You never know when the soles might decide to try to leave you.

I have been wearing previous incarnations of this style for over 10 years and loved it. So why change a good thing? They are the same great rugged hiking sandals. Except that they changed the comfortable foot bed pattern. It is now not comfortable! You can actually feel the pattern and gaps in it and it is much stiffer than before. The fact that you can actually feel the foot bed is a horrible thing. Foot beds should feel invisible and this defiantly is not. What were they thinking when they designed it? Hey, Teva, stop trying to reinvent the wheel. Just give us the Terra Fi 2's foot bed back!
