This is my second pair of Tevas and so far they are great. I just took them on a canoe trip and they preformed flawlessly as expected. I got many years out of my first pair. Best sandals I have owned. If you are an active outdoors kind of person I highly recommended a pair for yourself. The open toe and bottom are the ultimate for water activities at the beach or on the river. No need to take your shoe off because of sand or rocks. Just shake it out and away you go. Comfortable enough for short hikes and just about anything else you can think of doing when you want to keep your feet cool. I can honestly say I have never stubbed a toe or any of the such. Almost like shoes without the sweaty feet. With that being said. They did run a bit big and I had to reorder a 1/2 size smaller. But, I kid you not Zappos had a new pair on my porch the very next day, and I didn't even call them for an exchange until 9:00pm and the original pair had not even been shipped back yet. Nocharge for second pair no extra shipping charges. Just be sure you do ship the first pair back which was also free shipping! Their customer service is above and beyond!

My girlfriend bought these for me because we do a lot of hiking and a lot of the time we are walking and climbing through steams and waterfalls in PA, as we are Geo-Cachers and our searches take us off the beaten path most of the time. She already had a pair of Tevas for about ten years and never had any discomfort wherever we were hiking. So she bought me these Tevas for our summer camping and hiking trips. They are wonderful, didn't even have to break them in on our first trek!

Finally, a pair of Tevas I can wrap around my wide feet. I have 9.5 wide feet and a size 9.5 has just enough room. Keens fit my feet better, but I like Tevas style of sandal better. Size 10 was too long. I mostly wear flat flip flops or am barefoot in the summer so I like the slightly lower arch on this sandal. High arches provide too much support for me and tend to weaken my planar fasciitis over time.

I bought these for a trip to Maui. They are the most comfotable sandles I have ever purchased. They worked great on the beach.

Solid shoe, the shock pad on the heel raised up after a week or so. Now they are a little uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time.

I have narrow feet. Size 13 and in a shoe it's a B width. My wife adjusted some sandals I purchased last year in her sewing machine so they'd fit. That worked so well I ordered these. They did not have to be adjusted! Very comfortable, very solid.

Sandals were delivered on time and are very comfortable for the power walking I do. Not too many sandals fit my feet, but these are perfect!

I really like most everything about these sandals: the adjustability of the straps, the width, the grip of the sole, the arch support. However, the fabric (in my case "Firetread Midnight") that covers the straps is absolutely worthless! When your sandals get into contact (e.g. when sitting, crossing your ankles), the velcro on the one sandal attaches to the fabric on the other. Each time this happens and you pull the sandals apart, the velcro pulls out a lot of strands from the fabric of the other sandal, gradually ruining the fabric. It won't be long before these sandals look like they have inch-long bristles across the top of the foot! I'm still giving these sandals a good review because everything else is great, but I'm really very unhappy about the fabric.

Fine product plus Zappos upgraded shipping at no extra cost so they arrived faster.\r\nWhy not 5 * all around?\r\nThe velcro around the heels is adjustable, but the ends of the strips are not attached as I expected.\r\nAnd they come in size 14 !

I bought these sandals for my husband. He loves them so much I bought a pair for myself. I have no arches and he has very high arches. This sandal feels great on both of our feet.

Having used Tevas for many years and solely for RTW traveling, I had no hesitations buying this sandal on my previous trip for 5 weeks in South East Asia. I wore them straight out of the box without breaking them in as I had never done this on my previous Tevas. However, this time I had problems with the Terra Fi. For the first time, I developed blistering on the left heel. Adjustment did not work immediately but after one week of constant wear (and the formation of a blister), the sandal settled down and I was able to wear it comfortably. Needless to say, walking when my foot had blisters was difficult. My next problem was the sole does not grip as effectively as previous models I have owned in my opinion. When the ground is dry, the grip is good. Add a little moisture and the soles lose traction quickly. The result, two serious falls. Once in Laos when I walked over a branch crossing a river and fell into the river. The branch was moist. My partner wore a different model of womens Tevas (Tirra) and crossed the same branch without slippage. The second fall was in Bali when I fell over on wet concrete. Again, my partner wore her Tevas and while she reported some traction problems, her shoes were gripping better than mine. The sole on my sandal visibly looks more aggressive (and much more so than my partners sandal) but I think this means less rubber in contact with the ground and the rubber used loses traction when wet. In Bali, I returned to the same place where I fell but this time wearing Crocs and noticed better traction! I am wondering if the Teva rubber formulation has changed. It was disappointing to have traction problems in a sandal originally designed to be used around water. I feel disappointed that Teva has moved too far away from the spirit of water sandals it originally inspired.

These sandals were not as molded to fit the sole of my foot as I would have expected. They were also a full to half size larger than marked.

After four miles of walking (read: walking, not hiking) in these shoes, I can already feel the blisters coming on. I have read reviews of these sandals in which hikes through the woods went without fail, and I have to say, that was what sold me on these shoes. Unfortunately, they were erroneous. Do not buy these shoes unless you plan on walking less than mile in them at a time. Also, as most of aware, these are Tevas, so after about two weeks, you will either wash them, or kill small mammals with the smell emanating from them. For the price, these are not worth it. Pick up some Hurricanes. These shoes look awesome, like wearing a Jeep on your feet, if that makes sense, and if you are going to only wear them for casual endeavors, then more power to you.

In concept, I really like these sandals, but they did not quite meet my expectations after several days of heavy use, especially when walking long distances in wet areas. When dry they worked well, but after getting wet they ended up rubbing blisters at the pressure points on the tops and heels of my feet. The neoprene-like material covering the nylon helps when dry. The soles are a little chunky compared to the more basic Teva's but this might work well for you if you will be doing hiking on trails. The shock pads at the heel started to lose their black coating after a week of beach use.

They are a comfortable sandal. I find only one drawback. It has no clip opener and you have to use the velcro as the opener. Therefore every time you open it, you have to find the the correct closure spot.

I have bought several pairs of these Tevas, always comfortable from the first wearing, but they've changed. The shoe soles are thinner and the neoform on the straps is not as comfortable.

Disappointed,I just purchased these after owning a pair of Terra Fi\'s for 12 years. Thats right 12 years, after a month of having these they stink to high heaven, never ever had that problem with the original pair. The old pair had what they called brain drain, which would I guess sort of vent the bottom of your foot maybe preventing the odor problem? Anyway they seem constructed pretty well but, the odor problem is the deal breaker for me. I just googled this and this seems to be a major issue with Teva\'s these days, sad.

I bought a pair of these sandals for a 17-day whitewater kayaking trip through the Grand Canyon. They did not perform particularly well. They would have been okay were it not for the "shock pad" in the heel area which began to jut up above the rest of the footbed creating pressure points in my heels. Other than that, the straps, even when tight, didn't lock my foot in to the sole particularly well, although I suppose that's a lot to ask from a sandal. Still, this model seems to be marketed for hiking and I found it to be unsuitable. At least I can say that the fared better than my freinds' Keens; they all fell apart very early in the trip.

This is a very poor replacement for the T2 which was perfect. This footbed is much flatter causing tripping and the sole does not provide the great traction of the T2. Also, the footbed does not have the cushion of the T2. Please bring the T2 back!

The Terra Fi 3 is not comfortable because of the shock pad placed in the heel. It really does feel like you are walking around on a small stone underneath the heel, and is extremely annoying. I returned these immediately.

My particularly bad experience with these sandals came on the second pair. I had to return the first pair since they were simply too large to be 9.5. After initially breaking the second pair in, I started to really wear them, and after a good walk, in which I noticed some rubbing where the straps were, I looked down and my left foot was bleeding in two places (the right had no problems), to the point that the bleeding was still visible through a band-aid. Way to make a really fine product, Teva! Despite this, Zappos' excellent customer service has insured that I will continue to shop for footwear exclusively on Zappos.

Great pair of shoes. This is my second pair and they are extremely comfortable. They do have a moderate amount of arch support and, for me, I wish it were more but all in all they are fantastic.

I wear these all the time, I bought a second pair just in case they stop making this style. They fit great, I have EE wide feet but they have many adjustment straps for narrow. It is hard to find good looking men's black sandals. This is it!!!
