I have been buying these black turtlenecks for many years. I bought two more to add to my supply for winter. One had a nice firm somewhat tight turtleneck, which I prefer. The other one, in the same size, had a floppy neck. In addition, the fabric has changed - the cotton is much lighter in weight. I'm glad I tried them on ahead of time as I will be returning the one with the floppy neck.

This turtleneck was just ok. Not worth the price. I am typically a small but after reading reviews I ordered a medium. The medium fit great except around the arms where there was too much material. I am unfortunately returning.

I just read the existing reviews and think I must have been given the wrong size (despite what the tag says). I ordered the black turtleneck in X-large. This is the size I order all my shirts. This turtleneck was marked XX-large but it clung so tight I would never wear it. I'm glad others are happy with it. It is very soft and worth the money.

Not as soft as usual Splendid. Super snug...too much so. Neck was nice in that it will stay up like a true turtleneck should. I ordered a large as I’m a true 10, (and large said 10/12) but the XL would have been better, however, they were out of stock.

Boy am I glad I only ordered one of these! After so many glowing reviews, I almost ordered several but decided to start with one because of the cost. The material is nice for layering, not at all bulky, and the sleeve length is good but I spent all day fighting with neck to stay up! For the price, I was expecting something with a little more staying power. I think there are likely better options out there and will keep looking.

Splendid shirts are normally the best! Unfortunately, these don't quite live up to the brand. Downside is that the sleeves (at the wrist) are quite roomy while the shoulders are a bit small. Upside: the material is nice and is a mid-weight for fall and winter outfits.

Nice feel to the fabric however the seams at the shoulders are too pronounced and did not lay flat. Also small section of line of the side seam was undone. Not happy with the quality.

Terribly made, massive seam inside the turtleneck that rubbed my neck raw in less than two hours. Couldn’t figure out how to return it, so threw it away.
