Was in need of a basic black turtleneck asap, and hesitated because I think this one is pricey. When I opened the package, I thought I'd definitely overspent, because it's not very thick. However, I wore it and found it really comfortable, with long enough sleeves, and a long enough fit, without having to tug at it to stay down. I actually like that it's not super thick, because it's slightly fitted without being too tight. I sometimes wear a small, but since I'm about a 38 bust, I ordered a medium, which is perfect. I laundered and hung dry, just to be sure, and it laundered perfectly. I don't mind spending for a quality item. This one didn't seem quality at first, but it fits very well and held up nicely after a wash. I've purchased enough inexpensive "big store" turtlenecks etc. that look nice on the table, but fit oddly on the body.

The white was very sheer, thin material. Couldn't even get away with layering it -- as the turtleneck part looks opaque, but the chest is sheer. Poorly made for the price.

Perfect. Exactly what I wanted. So nice I ordered another one in black. Then neck is not loose and it stays up. Warm and soft. I like a snug fit so I ordered the small and it fit perfectly -- 5'4", 133 lbs and 36DDD. I think the S is more like a 6/8 in size.

The softest, thickest turtleneck! The modal makes the difference. I have this in white, black, and gray. I have to disagree with the other reviewer, the white one I received is very thick and not see through at all even in the brightest light. I am excited because these will be thick enough to wear under cashmere or angora sweaters and protect me from itchy fibers!

Fabric is soft and light--not sheer at all. However, I was expecting something slightly more substantial for the price tag. Body length was perfect for me (I'm 5'10" and ordered my usual M size). Unfortunately, the sleeves were just too short, so I had to return the top. Otherwise, I would have kept it.

Awesome turtleneck and way better than anything I've seen in stores all winter. It's made of nice material, "finished" nicely (no raw seams), and thick enough for cool weather. Also, it's long enough to tuck into low-waisted jeans. I did buy a size up from my normal XS, so it wouldn't be as tight as the picture.

I own a ton of these in every color. I always size up from my usual shirt size because they run small but once you know your size they are fabulous.

Great turtleneck. Fitted, soft and a little ribbed to look expensive. Thick enough so your bra doesn't show through and thin enough so that it doesn't add bulk to your frame. It's also a very, very dark black which I love. I'm 5,6 118lbs 32DD, I think next time I will get it in a medium. It's tight fit and shows if you have a slight tummy.

Really like this turtleneck. It's very well made and very soft and comfy. It's a bit snug, even the medium, (I'm 5'8, 130 lbs., slim build), but I wear it under sweaters and sweatshirts, so it's just great. I have a skinny neck and the turtle part fits fine. This product is worth the money, and Zappos service rocks??!

Stop everything. This is IT. Your most favorite turtleneck. Something about the fabric, the cut, the color... gorgeous, sexy, comfortable. gotta go: I'm buying every color.

It is difficult to find a turtleneck that fits snuggly around the neck. Most tend to sag. This is not true of Splendid. Not only do they fit nicely but are made with a soft cotton. I did order a size up. I just wish they made them in more colors!

Good quality turtleneck to wear under a cardigan. Longer than most. I’m 5’7” so that is much appreciated.

Perfect fit (I have long arms and long torso). Love the soft fabric.

I bought this in black. The material is thin but not see through, and hugs the body without clinging. Washed it and no change to the shape or fit. Great layering piece. Very happy with this purchase!

Black is totally opaque. very comfortable, fits well, wish neck was more fitted but will do.

Very nice soft stretchy fabric BUT tiny so size up. For reference I am 5’9” @145lbs, athletic with broad shoulders and long limbs. I purchased a medium & it had to go back. The large is great as long as it doesn’t shrink.

This is exactly what was looking for, but couldn't find anywhere! Just a simple, high quality turtleneck. I'm petite so the arms are a little long, but nothing crazy.

I'm very impressed with the fit and quality. Label says Made in USA. This is not sheer or see-thru fabric. It feels soft. Almost makes me wish for longer winters.
