I recommend ordering up one size. My son wears a boys size 3 in Stride Rite sneakers so I ordered a size 4 in the Teva Tanza and they fit great. My 7 year old said that they are comfortable and we both like the 3 adjustable straps. I have always had a challenge fitting my son's wide feet since he was a toddler and these fit great. I appreciate the airflow that the Tanza allows. My son's feet are stinky and any shoes that are enclosed means foot odor! He can get in the river without having rocks or sand stuck in his shoes but still gets enough protection from the inevitable piece of glass in the water. I specifically ordered these shoes from Zappos because of the free return shipping. Plenty of bricks and mortar stores around us carry the Teva brand but not this particular style. I prefer for my son to try on shoes before buying but if you cannot, I believe that Zappos is the next best thing and I am not getting paid to say that. Moms have to rely a lot on online reviews so I am just giving my 2 cents worth. My son requested the olive color and it is a nice neutral.

No complaining form my son! (Imagine that!) they fit great. The adjustable straps make it comfortable and fit well so he can still take off running.

These are cute, sturdy sandals. They fit well and are comfortable for my 4 year-old. They seem to run a little bit small and so I would order the next size up.

My 9 year old did not get any blisters from these, and he gets blisters from nearly everything. They are durable and easy to put on.

Excellent sandals for my 9 years old. Teva Kids Tanza are light, flexible, suite perfect for the hot summer days and play in water. These sandals fit him wonderful because of tree adjustable straps that regulate wideness. Plus, the sandals moderate arch support very well. I didn't not find any negative sides. I will buy them again. Thank you Teva for the smart shoes!

Great, but the same size as last year's size 3. Too bad we wanted them for the weekend!

Great sandals. I was concerned that the straps might not provide as much support as the model that was available last year and the year before but the support has been great and these have the same great soles as the older models so we are very happy. I\'d order these again.

This quality of the shoes is excellent. Top notch, for sure. The only complaint I have is that my son says they hurt his ankles. The strap has a plastic piece that rubs on his ankle bone and makes it uncomfortable for him to wear, so unfortunately these sandals are not his first choice when picking shoes to wear.

These sandals are nice and lightweight, but are on the narrow side. The piece across the toe created a blister the first time out, but there is padding.

Fantastic shoe for the price. The footbed is amazing. Most athletic shoes aren’t this comfortable and supportive. Just wish the size ran a bit larger.

Great shoe! My 9 year old daughter loves this shoe. She has had several pairs of Teva and when she out grows them, we have to order the next size up! She loves them!

Bought these for my 8 year old son and he loves them. I think they look great and he said they are the best shoes he's ever had. I've had Teva's before and I think they will be durable even for my active son. Time will tell, but for now, we are very pleased with these sandals.

I got these for my two year old to grow in to this summer. They are a little big, but the strap in the back lets me adjust it so they fit perfectly. My son really loves them, and the traction is great. We've looked at a few other kinds of sandals but I worried about him slipping on playground equipment. We haven't had an issue with these!

We love Teva and especially love the treads on these...great for my boys. However, they are one whole size smaller than marked. Side by side to their Teva Hurricanes, the size 4 in the Tanza is equal to the size 3 in the Hurricanes.

I bought two pair of these for my boys age 5 and 6. We were looking for a sandal that would be sturdy and not make their feet too hot. They have been wearing them already for about a month, and find them very comfortable.

I love Tevas, and I bought a pair of these for each of my sons. One pair is being returned because these just seemed to run really small. I had just measured the kid's feet, and the sizes did not run true.

Great shoe for my very big almost 4 year old. He has very tall feet. Not wide but a high arch, I haven't yet found a thong style that will fit. The velcro in multiple areas is great for growing little feet. I'm only giving it a 4 star due to sizing being a little on the small size.

I was surprised that these shoes hurt my 2 year old's feet. He has very wide feet but another style of Teva fit him perfectly. I think they were the Hurricane. Unfortunately, these pinched his feet and left red marks in several places.

I ordered this for my 8 year old - twice. Both times the shoe we received fit smaller than the size indicated. Cute shoe - probably a great fit. In the end we chose a different model of Teva sandal.

Purchased for my adult niece who wears child size shoes. She loves them for hiking.
