These don't look sharp because the straps are too long. I cut them down a bit so they didn't look sloppy. Everything else is good.

The straps look well-made and my 7 year old says the shoes are really comfortable. His feet don't get smelly like they do in Keens - which is a big plus for us! But he's only worn them about 5 times and the sole is peeling away from the footbed already. My son is really hard on shoes, but that seems a bit fast even for him! So, I'm not sure I'd buy them again. The search continues for sturdy, comfortable sandals that don't smell bad!

I bought this for my growing son with the idea that all the adjustable straps would be beneficial. However, the strap that goes around the ankle is in two sections. This puts two end pieces rubbing behind the ankle bone. The shoes I ordered in particular had these pieces bent or curled so that they really rubbed. The overall design of this detail though doesn't make me think that we'd do better with a different pair.

A very disappointing purchase. The hard plastic section on the strap gave my 4 year old blisters even after wearing for several weeks. He has never had any problems with blisters on any other sandal I've bought. They felt comfortable enough initially, but gave him blisters once he wore them outside - by then it was too late to return them. I cannot recommend them for any kid.

These shoes are badly designed. They look nice, but are very difficult to use. The plastic loop that carries the strap is too narrow, such that the velcro strap cannot pass through the loop without a lot of effort. My son struggles to take the shoes on and off. Stick with the original Tevas.
