The 2100 series is generally reliable, but the 2150 is cut narrower and with a less durable sole than previous models. Because of that I switched to the 3000 series.

Every year I buy the new addition of the Asics 2100 series, this year the 2150 (I'm always a year behind--I know the 2160 is already out, but I save money by buying last year's model).
The 2150 is a good, solid, well constructed running shoe, though I use it exclusively for walking. I'm a big guy and need lots of support, which the 2150 provides.
My only complaint with it is that the top of the shoe where the big toe is comes apart after about a month of use, and this hole on top expands the more I use the shoes. I might have to try taping the hole. But other than that, the shoes are excellent quality and hold up very well.

Ordered the wide after upgrading from GT-2140. The newer GT-2150 is far more narrower than the previous model. I had originally purchased D width but had to go wide. After upgrading to this wider width, I find it is still more snug than usual. Otherwise it performs similar to GT-2140. If I had to do it again, I would have gotten the older GT-2140 at a discount instead of upgrading, simply because of the reliable sizing and feel.

I need 4E width and it is hard to find a shoe that fits. This shoe fits well, has good support and is very comfortable.

I normally buy New Balance shoes. I bought these because New Balance didn't have any shoes I like in my size at the time, 12, 4E. I'm glad I did. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. At first they were tight in the toes, but like another reviewer said, after wearing them around the house for an hour they felt just right. To me, this pair of shoes runs a bit on the narrow side. I own a couple other brands that are all 12 4E, and these are the narrowest of the bunch. I almost sent them back because of this, but after the "break-in", they felt much better, so I decided to keep them.

Shoe feels great -- I like the durability of Asics...run 4-5 days/week. So easy to shop Zappos -- great service and what a time saver!!

Fit, comfort excellent. Half sizes a bonus. Much better for than New Balance which always bothered my heel.

Bought this since it was highly rated by Consumer Reports. Very comfortable for walking. Only wish different manufacturers would use the same sizing. My old size 15 shoe from New Balance felt a bit bigger than this one. Zappos service was great, got free 2 day shipping.

A bit heavier and bulkier than the 1150. The added weight is in padding and you will benefit from this on runs longer than 8 miles. One last bit about these shoes. My heel does not feel as secure as I'd like in these shoes.

These are worn with rather flat feet for walking, not running. Overall these are very comfortable. They are very stylish and conform well to the upper foot. They provide very good space for the toes in the toe box. Other than as noted below, they were immediately fully comfortable. Two aspects of the fit lead me to rate them 4 stars rather than 5 stars. When lacing the left foot sometimes the top outer edge of the tongue can feel slightly uncomfortable. Adjusting the tongue to the side and loosening the top lace can take care of this. The middle of the arch on the right foot provides too much support for a flat foot. When first putting on the shoe the pressure can be uncomfortable. Walking for a while reduces this so it gets almost unnoticeable. I periodically press down on the arch cushion with my fingers (obviously, while not wearing the shoe). This seems to be lowering the cushion slightly and probably will remove the issue over time. Despite the above I am very happy with the shoes.

Asics are my favorite running shoe. However, the material has changed. Don\'t like the faux suede.

I'm an overpronater runner with slightly wide feet. After a disaster experience with Finish Line, where the cheese-faced teenager convinced me that the Nike Pegasus met my needs, I resolved to try something new. (The Pegasus is for an underpronater, figured that out after actually running in them for 2 minutes.) I did a quick online review for shoes that met my needs and decided to try to buy them online since in-store selections were sparse. This particular model was well reviewed and Zappos was suggested by my wife as a place to get shoes online, so I tried it out.The shoes felt pretty odd at first but after 40 miles or so of 'wearing' in I'm quite happy. They fit well and I wouldn't hesitate to order online again. Color selection was poor but that's to be expected given the EE width.

Great shoes at a great price. Very light, good shock absorption, comfortable. Just be aware, however, that Asics tends to run at least a full size small (width too). I take a size 7E but had to send them back and order an 8EE. I\'ve noticed this with other Asics running shoes that I\'ve purchased in the past, and I\'ve purchased quite a few of them (back in the days when I was running 7-8 miles a day). Overall, great shoe. My rating reflects the second pair I purchased, NOT the first, which were woefully undersized.

Very comfortable shoe. Bought 4 other pairs (new Balance) and this fit the best for wider feet. First time ordering with Zappos and thought the customer service was 5 stars, shoe returns were a breeze. The overall style would have been much better without the different logos explaining the cushioning, etc. the shoes speak for themselves. I am sure the marketing department wanted the logos plastered all over the shoe and the white reflector on the toe on a black shoe looks like a bird was taking target practice. But overall, far superior fit then New Balance which is what I previously had.

Great sneaker, very comfortable/cushioned, good fit--they do run a bit small/narrower than some other brands so I often have to order 1/2 size up and the 4E instead of the 2E or 3E, but that's not a big issue for me. I have owned several pair of Asics and will likely never buy another brand.

Great for overpronation. Still waiting for it to feel completely broken in and comfortable. Not sure if it will ever be 100%. A wider size would probably would be more comfortable on my foot.

I bought these sneakers for my son. We originally ordered the 11W which we had to return for the 114E. Asics seem to run a bit narrow compared to New Balance but with the 4E available, my son prefers running in Asics.

The sneakers are really nice looking. They are comfortable to walk in and seem to provide good support and stability. I have worn them for several weeks and find them to be easy to wear and remain sturdy.

DISCLAIMER: I struggle finding shoes for my very narrow and thin foot. I always purchase "B" or "Narrow" width less my shoes fly off my feet. My ASICS GT-2150's have excellent arch support and stability control. However, watch the "1/2 size" up rule for these. While I suffer shoes being generally too roomy for my feet, the top part of the shoe seems quite a bit oversized, too roomy. The extra material caves-in over my foot and painfully bit in until I broke the shoes in. I probably could have done without sizing up. The mid-section and heel fit perfectly, so I'm overall happy with my purchase.

For the most part I really like the shoe, however, they always develop a hole on the outer edge near the first loop of the shoe string directly behind your small toe and the sole wears quicker than most Asics.

I love Asics shoes, but they have stopped making as many wide options, and the ones they have feel undersized. I ordered the 2E (my usual size) and the shoes were painfully narrow. I am going to 4E, only about 5 percent of Asics stock is available (basically, all the ugly colors). I keep hoping they will return to making wider shoes available. When I can find a good looking pair of shoes in 4E I still buy them because the shoes are so great.

After only 3 months hole developes in the mesh fabric near my toes. Durability seems to be a big problem. This is my third pair, it usually takes 6 months before my toes come through. Wish Asics could fix the problem.

Great shoe but after a few months front toe area mesh developed a hole. I can't explain it but seems a durability issue. I can't buy them again.

The insole felt very soft. However, after using them to walk around in at work for a few days, my archs started to hurt. It started to feel like my sock was bunched up near my arch when it wasn't. I tried new socks, no success. When I use them to run, no issues at all though. I also ordered another pair, xtra wide this time, and had the same issues. Too bad I cant return them because I already wore the shoes. The 365-day return policy is only if you haven't worn the shoes already.
