Lovely, this boot is beautiful. Old Gringo has made a very fine quality boot that meets up to their standards. I love Old Gringo, always the best.

I love the boots, though they were not what I expected. The pictures showed a dressier black leather with a fine sheen - the boots I got have a dull finish - almost gray/black and are more distressed looking than I expected. They are very comfortable and the toe is elongated which I love. I usually wear an 8 in boots - these slip a lot in the heel. I could have gone with a 7½. Otherwise the fit is excellent - great arch support and I have wide feet so the B width is perfect. I am not sure that socks will work but they would be worth a try. I really wanted them for the summer. Heavy socks will not work for that. They smell like a leather store - I love that.

So disappointing. I have been watching these boots for awhile so I was very excited to find them at the right price so I ordered 2 too sizes a 7 & 7.5 to make sure I had the right size. I am a 7.5 and have a narrow heel and "A" width foot. Believe it or not the 7 was too large and I've never worn a 6.5. Not only was the size not right the material appeared to be distressed so instead of the boot looking black they looked gray in color. I just returned both pair and will continue my search for the perfect cowboy boot.
