I purchased these boots a couple of months ago. Second pair of Old Gringo boots. I'm not a true cowgirl just play one on TV. I get so many compliments on the boots...even in public restrooms! Buy 'em, you won't regret it.

Best boots EVER. I own several pairs of Old Gringos, but for some reason these are by far the most comfortable - right out of the box - that I have ever owned. The rubber mat on the heel makes them great for stomping around Seattle without slipping or getting wet toes. I have very sensitive feet and I had no issues wearing these without breaking them in first. The embroidery is awesome, too, since it’s a tone-on-tone and not too wild. They are sassy and stylish and super cool.

These boots fit like a glove that you don't want to take off. Probably the most comfortable things I have ever put on my feet, and you can wear them all day and into the night no problem! I just wish you could wear them everyday with everything!!! But alas back to the reality that you can't wear cowboy boots with everything!! (Even though I am trying)! This is the first pair of Old Gringo's I have purchased, and it certainly won't be the last!

Now I know why people are such fans of Old Gringo boots. These have a traditional look, with subtle, but stunning brown flower embroidery on them. They are gorgeous! The fit is perfect in every way. I could wear these all day. They have a leather sole, which I had the shoemaker put a rubber vibram sole over, so I can wear them in inclement weather.

This is my fourth pair of Old Gringo boots and this pair is by far the best pair of boots I have owned! Very comfortable all the Old Gringo styles are great boots. Love them all.

The boots are great. The toe tips up a bit more than the picture indicates. The embroidery detail really adds a nice touch. The heel does slip a little.

Very cool and comfortable boot but does make your foot look long. I hate wearing skinny jeans so I was looking for a boot that I could wear with my boot cut jeans that wouldn't have it's designs hidden by my pants. These are very durable and well made. This was a spontaneous purchase because they only had 2 pairs left in my size when I ordered. Zappos shipped them faster that what I originally ordered but I was surprised by the fact that they were used. I could tell by the soles that they had been worn and there were some scuff marks on the ankle. All in all a great product. Just not sure if I would have paid what I paid, had I known it was a used product.

Great looking boot but too tight. I couldn't get it on my high instep. I have another pair in the exact same size that fit perfectly. Oh well!

I loved the look of the boot, so ordered the same size I had ordered in other Old Gringo boots. In this particular style, I couldn't even get my foot in the size I normally wear. I tried the next half size, and then a full size bigger was just what I needed. This is very unusual for Old Gringo, as they usually run very true to size. Zappos was wonderful in working with me in all the exchanges that had to be done. Zappos does rock and roll! I love my Old Gringo boots!

These were gorgeous but too tight at the top of my instep. Had to return them.

These boots are beautiful! I read all the reviews before ordering to determine if the size 7 would fit. My usual is a 71/2 but none were available. Most reviews said true to size some said too big and some said too small. I have another pair of Old Gringo boots size 71/2 which are fine but there is some room. I decided to take a chance on the size 7 since Zappos offers returns with free shipping and I am so glad I did. They fit perfectly even with wool socks. They are not too narrow nor were they hard to get on. I guess it all depends on the shape of your foot. They are also as one reviewer stated not shiny black but more of a matte black with gray, brown and black stitching, which is beautiful. The sole is a snip toe but the actual boot is not. Great addition to my collection!

These are the most beautiful boots I've ever owned! The craftsmanship is amazing and the photo does not do it justice. Fit's true to size, don't size up. They'll take a little time to break in, just a little, but will become the most comfortable shoe I own. I love this boot!

I just love these boots! The embroidery adds a beautiful detail to these black boots. They were pretty comfortable the first time I wore them. I am still breaking them in though, and the heel is not too high. I think they are so pretty!

Hi all! I just wanted to let you know few things about these boots before you purchase. This is my second pair of Old Gringos and I love them both. They are very well made, the embroidery and leathers are always exceptional in my opinion. First, I want to say that these Yippie Ki Yay boots are actually not black. They are a very dark grey. I think the manufacturer did this so that the embroidery would stand out a little more since it's mostly black. So if you're looking for a truly black boot, don't pick this one. That being said, I'm wearing the boots with black right now and they look great, so no worries there. Second, if you have a bony foot like me, I would go down a half size. I know many reviewers found these boots to run small, but I am assuming they have a meatier foot. These boots stretch after an hour of wear and kind of conform to the shape of your foot so don't go too big! I think they should feel quite snug when you first put them on. Like even a little too snug at first. If they don't, try a size down or else they'll be too loose down the road. I highly recommend walking around the house in them for an hour or so, to see if they stretch appropriately. Just a FYI!

I have been waiting for these in my size for quite some time, and glad I waited. Old Gringo rocks! good price, great quality.

Love these boots! They are so stylish and comfortable. I was concerned about the reviews that said this boot runs narrow and small, but this wasn't my experience at all. I am a perfect 9, not too narrow or wide, and a 9 fits perfectly. I am really please with my purchase.

These are gorgeous boots; the Yippie Ki Yay line is Old Gringo's lower-end line but I still think the quality is outstanding, especially for the price. Love that the toes are so pointy and that they curl up. I found the boots to be true to size, though at first a little tough to get on (an issue of the ankle area, not the overall length.

This is my second pair of boots. I bought my first pair a few months back and have a new addiction. These boots are comfortable but still funky. I love how pointed they are. The flowers are stitched in multiple shades of black/gray so some areas are lighter than others making them stand out but not overpowering. FYI - they were difficult to remove by myself the first several times. I would have been stuck with them on if my husband had not been home. I would recommend these to someone.

Love all Gringo boots. The first minute one puts them on its like an old friend, so comfortable to be with. This particular style fits a bit more snug than the other Gringos that I own, but I know with a few wearings they too will be just like the others. Maybe the leather vendor changed? Regardless, I love them!

Wyoming (the real west, right?!)! I went to Jackson Hole and planned to purchase boots. I tried on a variety of brands, even checked out the lower priced, utilitarian type store and realized Old Gringo was the deal. But I couldn't spend $585 for the beautiful hand pieced triple sewn OG's (not this time!). So Zappos.com - hello! I am a smallish size 7 in most shoes, sometimes 6-1/2 with a high heel. I wonder at times if I'm a narrow. Anyhow, I purchased a 7. They were snug with a sock. I would have kept them in hopes that they would stretch a leather does...however, one boot had a slight defect in the sole. I returned and ordered another pair, but also ordered one half size larger at the last minute. (Love the free shipping both ways!) And I'm so glad I did. The 7 went on, but the 7-1/2 felt right at home on my foot! So tomorrow the 7's go back and the 7-1/2's go to Nashville with me! I love the pointy toe, the stitching is lovely! (Looking forward to my next Old Gringo's!)
