I bought a second pair of these (Alison) because the first pair were so comfortable. The heel is a little higher than a loafer, so my jeans don't drag on the the floor (and I am 5'8"). Also they look a little like boots without the bulk of a boot. Even though I have a high instep, these fit great. For ease, I do use a shoe horn to put them on. They also fit my American foot like a shoe should; where some imports look like they are for people with pigeon toes and hurt my feet. Love them and Zappos.

Beautiful shoe and extremely comfortable. I did order a width larger than I usually take, because Munro has run narrow for me in the past. I love the shoe and would recommend it to others.

These are my first pair of shoes purchased after recent bunion surgery. I have only worn lace up style shoes for many years and was really happy to be able to wear another style now. I purchased these in 10.5 narrow and they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I also am very pleased with the style of the shoe.

These are some of the best shoes I have ever purchased. I am on my second pair.

Looks better in person than the picture. The leather is quality and a comfortable shoe. I wear a WW and use inserts. The shoe had room but the heel did not flop which often happens. Looks great with pants and with dresses and skirts when I wear tights.

The first day I wore these shoes, I got two compliments on them. Very high quality as you would expect from Munro. A little tight over the top of the foot at first but I have noticed the shoe is fitting great now (after a few wearings).

These fit like a glove on my long narrow foot! It's so rare to find a shoe in my size (11N) that fits so well. I like the style, but I couldn't get over the "vee" on top of the shoe that showed just a little bit of the top of the foot even with boot leg pants. Maybe it just doesn't work in the longer sizes? This won't deter me from trying another Munro shoe. They are pricey, but worth it if they fit this well!

These Munro shoes are terrific. I had to move up to a wide. Had them originally a few years ago in medium, but needed the extra toe width. They have superb support and balance - a shoe I can finally wear all day to work in without pain. I've had other Munro shoes, but these are the best! Great Zappos service as always!

For wide width shoes these are somewhat narrow across the toes. I had them stretched at the shoemaker and they are more comfortable now. They are very attractive everyday shoes.

I was looking for a nice shoe to wear to the office. This shoe would have been perfect if the toe box had a little more room (for my toes to wiggle) and the arch was more supportive. I wear a 7.5 WW.

Not a bad shoe, but I prefered the fit, feel and look of the Munro Tate.

I like the look of the shoes a lot, they were a little uncomfortable to begin with, too tight across the top of the foot, but seem to have stretched some and are okay now.

These are lovely, elegant shoes, but they are too narrow for me. I do have a narrow foot, but not this narrow, so if you are a really really narrow footed gal, these are for you. I am debating re-ordering in a medium, but these are sadly going back.

Gorgeous overlapping leather and high quality leather in this shoe. This shoe is wide through the heel for me but fits the width. Seems to be a theme for me when it comes to this brand. I am not narrow through the heel when you take measurement and compare to norm. I will wear these with trouser socks and they will be fine. This shoe has zero arch support in my opinion, but my orthodics fit in this shoe.

I like the shoes so much that I kept them, even though they are a little narrower than I expected.

I've been wearing Munro shoes for years because I am on my feet all day at work. This is a great shoe overall, but the toe bed is a little more narrow than I expected. My big toes rub against the top of the shoe when I walk and make noise, so that is disappointed for me for the price of the shoe.

I purchased these shoes to replace another pair of Munro American's that I have just about worn out. I ordered a EE which usually will fit just fine. The toe box of this style was more narrow than I had expected, not offering the comfort level I experienced in the current shoes I own. Had to send them back but will take a chance on another style.

I have been buying Munro shoes for many years and this is the first time I have been disappointed with the fit. I bought these to replace a Munro style called Susie (loafer type leather slip-on) that was discontinued. I purchased a size 6M. The toe box on the Alison style left my toes feeling cramped. I found this shoe to be too narrow through the toe (and I have narrow feet). The rest of the shoe fit fine. I think that if they had designed this shoe with a more rounded shape toe, the fit would have been better.

These shoes aren't cutting edge fashion. The leather is nice but they had to go back because I have a high instep and I could barely get them on; so if you have a high instep, they wont fit you.

If you literally have very wide feet and always need a EE width this shoe will not fit. I ordered a size larger after reading several comments about the toe box. However, I could not even get my toes into the shoe. The EE width shoe is more like a C width. I was very disappointed as I have been trying to find a stylish low heel shoe.

These are my 3rd pair of Munro shoes. I loved the first two. I bought my first two at a store. My second pair was the same size as my first. When I needed a new pair, the style changed again. I thought I would order from Zappos because my local store did not have the style I wanted. I ordered from Zappos. My shoes hurt my feet. The toe box is too small. I assume they will stretch but I cannot wear them for long periods of time, and that is exactly why I bought them in the first place.

Very disappointed. Have never purchased Munro before because of price. I expected so much more.

Shoe fit great but quality was poor! Leather peeled off after minimal wear. Got a replacement pair (Zappos was great about the exchange) and the same thing happened! I've been wearing this brand for years without problems. I hope it was just a defective batch and not a new trend.

This shoe was not cute at all. No arch support. The color was the only good thing going for this shoe.
