Love the color and style of these boots. Size 39 has plenty of room for my size 8.5 AA feet. However, the snaps rub my ankles and are difficult to unsnap and snap.

As described, these are roomy, especially in the toe box, and supple. The leather is very nice. However, there is very little support, which is critical for my high arches. They have to go back.

The description says leather but they do not seem like leather, more plasticky like vinyl. They are very lightweight, like a feather (again, leather is not usually light). They are very roomy with plenty of space inside for wide toes, bunions and an orthotic. I cannot understand why they cannot make the instep less fat looking. Also, as others have mentioned, the snap sometimes pinches my ankle but only when walking down stairs. I do not love the clunky Frankensteinish way they look but the extreme comfort means that I will keep them and continue my never ending search for dressier shoes and boots that fit buniony feet, because these are not it.

Beautiful boot! Leather is very soft, beautiful shade of brown (chocolate). Needed a size larger. Surprised, sense I have another Arcopedico the N17. What a comfortable little boot (N17).

I like the look of this cute little boot. I need lots of support -- and this boot offers it wonderfully and gently around the ankles. I wish it had better arch support though.

I wish I could have kept these boots. They are as adorable as they look online! Unfortunately, I really needed a wider size and the 1/2 size larger is really too long. It felt like the arch in the right shoe was hitting in the wrong place on my foot. One reviewer said they were easy to get on and off - for me this was not the case. But I still think these boots are wonderful...just not for my feet!

I love this boot! Comfortable right from the start. I found they run small so I sized up (normally a 7.5) I had to get the size 39. I have narrow feet and they did give me lots if room, but good with thick socks in winter. Overall, I'm happy with these boots and I'd purchase these again!

Super comfortable boots! They are soft and fit well. The only drawback I can see is that they are a little bit difficult to put on. It takes a minute to find where the snaps fit together on each side, and as I've had a knee replacement, it takes a bit of creative bending and twisting to get them snapped up! I'm used to zippers on boots, which are simpler to manage. However, once they're on...I LOVE THEM!

First, Zappos: I wish they sold everything including groceries because the offerings and service are top on the web. Second, this shoe: It is comfy if you are looking for a soft shoe that doesn't put pressure on your foot or require break-in. The snaps make it easy on/off, the leather is super cushy and the toebox and width are generous. The sole is adequately stable but not supportive as an athletic shoe is. The inner footbed is fine but not what one may call pillowy and substantial. I have foot problems and was thrilled to find this shoe that allows me to walk in comfort without pressure on my feet, especially in the toe box/forefoot. The heel is secure without being hard. I have one pair in red and two in black (one as back-up in case they discontinue this style). I appreciate this shoe because it has helped me out but I do consider it lightweight -- don't expect Frye's. These are not runway shoes, but we all see that, right? They are comfy shoes under jeans and do not look tacky or cheap.

Very soft leather, nearly seamless, good quality boots in attractive dark brown. I am returning them because I need more cushioning under the metatarsal area. The forefoot is very thin and flexible, which I cannot wear after multiple foot surgeries. I wear a 9 and ordered a 40, based on reviews. That was not at all too big, so I would say these boots run small.

Very soft leather and comfortable, but not as much arch support as the other lycotech boots Arcopedico makes. I'm returning them. They're really cute, though. Great with leggings.

Comfortable overall - the arch support was back too far for my preference. The leather quality is nice. The red color is darker than how it shows on my monitor. I don't think they are stylish enough to keep.

I am returning these black leather Arcopedico N42 ankle boots in the largest size available because the way the leather wrinkles over the upper feet and the ankles of my big, pronating feet is unattractive, and does not look like the photo that impressed me. Note that the photos of this boot in the various colors show a number of different ways in which the leather can wrinkle or fold. I was expecting black folds...but that's not what they do on my feet, sniffle. When these unfortunate things happen, Zappos makes it easy to fix. My hobbit feet are grateful.

The boots are attractive and rather comfortable - just a bit loose which I have remedied with heel pads. Good in the rain and snow (up to a few inches).

Nice boots. Too snug for warm socks so returned them and still thinking whether to try a size larger.

Fit was too large. Heels slip on both when walking. Smaller size would be too snug on left foot, which is longer than right.

Lovely soft boot. Sadly, while it disguised my bunion, my hammertoe stood out like a sore thumb.

I was hoping for a more cushiony support, but find the front sole rather hard, and am sure the balls of my feet will be sore after extended walks. I do find the leather around the ankle supple, which I require due to sensitive skin and bony ankles. The overall look, however, was too matronly for me.

I was not impressed. Had knee replacement and was looking for a comfortable boot I would call it average if that. A lot of money for a mediocre boot I do not recommend

Finally an Arcopedico that fit! I am a size 8 M in a wider shoe due to bunions. This bootie fit just fine but I looked like I had clown feet. They were not attractive at all. Back they went.

I bought these in brown and the dark red. I love the soft leather but even with orthotics and a fairly thick sock, they felt too big.

I love Arcopedico shoes and I really love this style! However, these are oddly sized. I wear a 38 in Arcopedicos, but my feet were swimming in 38s--even w/thicker socks. I then ordered a 37 (see? totally love the style), but those also did not fit: the toebox is not deep enough for my toes, while the heels were too wide for my heels. Sadly, I need to return both and give up on this style.

I wanted to love these boots because it is so hard to find boots in a true red color. There is one snap on each side...no zipper...so I couldn't get my foot in the boot.
