I had ordered it in red and loved them. The fit was great so I ordered them in black. The black was so short my toes ached. What happened Im returning them should I order the black in next size or will they be huge? What to do?

These boots were just not very attractive. I could live with that if they felt great on my feet, but they did not. They were hard, tight in the toe box, and there was no arch support.

I loved the comfort and the style was cute. Maybe not beautiful but nice.

I wear 7.5-8 size shoe, have slightly narrow-medium heel and a wide, flat instep and top of foot. I've been trying to find a cute, comfortable ankle boot for traveling in Asia where I'll have to take my shoes off a lot. This looked like such a cute shoe and I was hopeful... But there wasn't enough room in the toebox; my big toe hit the top of the shoe. The photo on the shoebox showed a woman's foot with the second toe longer than the big toe - so maybe that's the type of foot the shoe is designed for?? I wear 7.5-8 and tried both the 38 and the 39; neither fit. So is that "true to size"? I never know what to select in zappos dropdowns. The 39 was better than the 38 although loose overall. I could have gone with thicker socks, but the shoe had no cushioning and the insole doesn't come out, so won't allow adding a cushioning insert or orthotic. After standing at my computer for an hour my feet were tired. Back they go!

A+ for comfort. However, the shoes looked like bedroom slippers, so returning them.

Fit and size seems consistent. My issues were with the style. I actually like them in a funky, casual, sort of way, but they seemed a bit too casual for what I was looking for. If you want a nice fitting, cute boot for casual ,this might work for you. Love this brand!

The black is true black, and the deep red is very handsome. I wish they were available in grey as well. I love these booties! The style with the little bit of slouch is exactly what I wanted. They look like the pictures. The leather is sooo soft to the touch and feels comfy around my ankle. The snap fasteners open and close easily on both sides of the shoe. The toe box is generous and accommodates my hammer toe with no visible bump, no pressure. Can't speak to durability; it's June and I don't expect to use them for a while. About the size: this 39 is perfect om my right foot (size 8.5) but a little large on the left (size 8.) Not a problem in boots.

These shoes were in my Favorites for a year and never reduced in price. $165 is more than I wanted to part with, but I finally caved. The leather is beautifully soft, the color is not too dark or bright, and I love the snaps on either side of the ankle (as opposed to that horrible velcro). The styling is cool, the toebox is roomy and there's enough room for an orthotic as long as your instep isn't too high. BUT I just couldn't abide the cheap-looking plastic molded sole. The shoe is made in Portugal, but the sole looks like Chinese crap. If you can overlook that, it's a comfy, rockin' boot.

These looked great and I wanted to love them. They fit fine, but sole so thin you can feel the floor underneath. Can't remove insole, replace with thicker. Back you go!

First, I love the style and the red color of these boots. Because they are so comfoetable, I hust irdered thrm un black as well. Wish they were evailable in a great grey. My right foot has always been larger than my left so shoes that were roomy on the left foot were always snug on the right, at least until they stretched out after a few days of walking around in them. Since developing problems that require a toe separator for my already-larger right foot , many of the shoes that wiuld ordinarily be snug on that foot are now too tight. At first, that was the case with these fabulous cherry red boots; however, because the leather on them us softer than on any shoes I’ve ever owned, after just a few few hours on the stretcher I purchased several years ago, they fit fine. I kept my normal size 38 and returned the 39 which was falling off my left foot and even too roomy on the right. I still wish European companies would make half size because the previous solution works only with shows that have leather soft enough to stretch easily. I’m about to return a cute pair of Alegria Palomas because the 38 is too tight (with socks) on the right foot and the 39 is too big.

These booties are a beautiful leather and the red color is quite attractive. The fit & arch support is not what I expect from this brand, however. In addition, even though the snaps on both sides of the bootie are attractive, they are hard to close for someone with arthritic hands (e.g., me).

Nice short boot but after reading the reviews, I ordered a wide. Guess I didn't need the wide, the boots were too sloppy everywhere. Would have kept them if I had ordered my usual B width.

the shoe looked more appealing online. I had used the search bar for arch support boots and this expensive shoe was listed. I felt no support at all. The snaps on the lateral side were difficult to snap.For the price I want comfort not just cute. So I will return them and keep looking. At Zappos of course.

This shoe is just too wide and sloppy on my feet. The length is good, but even with socks my feet were swimming.

I love these shoes but the support on the bottom of the shoe is minimal so I have to return them for better support.

PROS: Extremely light Very soft supple leather Lots of room in the round toe box Heel does not slip Well made Comfortable like slippers Heel not too flat Room for orthotic Accommodates medium weight socks No rubbing anywhere CONS: Not going to win a style contest Low on arch support Cherry Red too brown; a bit dull, closer to burgundy. NEUTRAL: Not the biggest opening for foot, poppers a bit awkward as they are behind the ankle bone, but that ensures no contact with bone. OVERALL: I sort of wanted to return them because I bought some expensive and stylish Naots at the same time, but these are too comfortable to take off my feet. Lots of wiggle room for toes and they have the light weight I crave and my knees require. Not for serious walking (for me) but good for short trips when sneakers won't do, and great for around the house. My feet say yes.

These boots are beautiful but unfortunately, they have no cushioning and therefore are not very comfortable for my feet. Boohoo...I had to return them.

it has improved on size: 8 is actually 8, not smaller but the button inside the shoes uncomfortably rub on ankles unless you wear a thick socks. otherwise super soft and light pairs of shoes.

Bootie is a bit hard to snap closed and they don't stay closed when walking. Minimal arch support; insoles are hard. Too baggy looking to my tast.

Ordered these for my Mother. She loved them. Said they were very comfortable.
