I bought these in brown and the dark red. I love the soft leather but even with orthotics and a fairly thick sock, they felt too big.

with my insoles they are too tight

I love Arcopedico shoes and I really love this style! However, these are oddly sized. I wear a 38 in Arcopedicos, but my feet were swimming in 38s--even w/thicker socks. I then ordered a 37 (see? totally love the style), but those also did not fit: the toebox is not deep enough for my toes, while the heels were too wide for my heels. Sadly, I need to return both and give up on this style.

So cute - but VERY wide and ran big in length also, alas, material was very nice.

I love these shoes but had to return them because they’re too big. I usually wear a 9-10. The 40 was sold out so I bought the 41. I’m hoping a 40 will become available.

I wanted to love these boots because it is so hard to find boots in a true red color. There is one snap on each side...no zipper...so I couldn't get my foot in the boot.

Love these shoes. I wear them all the time because they're comfortable and go with a lot of outfits. I bought them because I was going on a trip to Europe and planned to walk a lot. These worked perfectly.

Like many of the other reviews I agree that the height of the toe area was limited. The leather was of nice quality but the snaps on either side of the ankle are very tough to line up to snap them and rather difficult to snap, especially awkward for the one on the outside of the ankle (where you can’t see). The snaps must be undone to get your foot into them and they are much too lose if you attempt to just let the snaps remain undone once it is on your foot. The style looks better in the photographs of the shoe. Once it is on the foot it just looks like you are wearing a leather bag on your feet. I have had a number of Arcopedico shoes and never been disappointed but this one did not live up to their standards. The old Arcopedico Mitrus ankle boot was far superior. I wish they would bring it back into production!

This is a nice boot. I ordered the same size I order for walking/activity shoes and they were too big all over. I need more arch support than boot has or would have reordered in smaller size. And don't get me started on all my foot problems! If one can find the right fit (and has a good foot :-) they likely will wear well.

So cute on. My foot looks smaller in them. They are little short on my left but that’s because of a bunion that has pushed all my toes to the left so my foot doesn’t sit correctly in a shoe. I wish there was an option to buy one size for one foot and another for the other foot. The leather is so soft and pliable. Shoes have 2 snaps on either side so my feet slid In easily. The red cherry color is a winner too and I’ve been looking for a great red shoe. This is a deep red not bright at all. Beautiful. My left foot would like more room but since the leather is so soft I’m sure it will adapt quickly. Not letting this cute little boot get away.

I have sensitive feet and arcopedico has been good for them. I like the style and comfort of the boot on my foot. BUT they have a serious design flaw. I wanted to keep them so I have been to the shoe repair shop 3 times before I ever wore them due to the discomfort of the snap on my ankle bone. They added padding, then more padding, then took the outside snaps off and put in velcro to close the shoes. After all that, I still had to sew a pad to wrap around my ankle under my socks before I could wear them. So I don't recommend them to anyone with thin ankles until they redesign them with a better closure--like a zipper which would also make them faster to get on and off. I think I will like them now that I can wear them but will only be able to wear them with pants as the pad shows a little. If I had known what it would take to make them work, I would not have kept them.

Wonderful due to soft uppers that I can wear all day with ease despite my bunions and hammer toes...exquisite comfort!

This is my third pair. I have black, blue and now red. I'm 68 and have a weak back. So these work for me.

Loved the shoe, love Arcopedico but have very narrow heels which slipped while walking. Sorry to have to send them back.

I have a fairly narrow foot but these were exceptionally wide and more suited to a person with a high instep.

These boots are amazing !! They are totally worth the cost. I wear size 10, and alot of 10's run small. I ordered the size 42 which is 10.5--11. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I love the way they look and the leather is quality. I am totally happy with these boots and also Zappos people. I had previously ordered some Clark boots and it took several days to arrive and were too small, they are being returned. I didn't want to wait for an exchange so I ordered these Arcopedico boots and they arrived the next day !!! Thanks, Zappos !!! Great Job !!!!

This shoe is stylish and lovely soft leather. I could actually get it on, which has been a problem for me with booties without laces. However, I could not get both side snaps done up, so am returning them. I would say that if you have larger legs, this might be an issue for you. Very nice style, however, and looked good on my foot.

Nice soft leather, very comfortable boots. The red is a fairly deep and bright shade, which is what I wanted.

Soft, comfortable fit... Easier to slip on (with high arches) after a few wears because of the snaps at the ankle. This is a very nice boot, lends itself to wear with just about anything and helps keep you on your feet all day.

I also have a high instep, but what pleased me about THIS arcopedico (N42) is the two snap closures on the ankle, allowing for more room to slide my foot in...when all else fails, a shoe horn works for me until the shoe/boot is broken in, but this boot was soft from the start and was fairly easy for me to slip on after wearing a couple of times. The boot is soft, nice looking and very comfortable to wear...I was so pleased I bought a second pair (espresso and red) and feel safe and secure walking on most surfaces in most weather. No trouble negotiating wet leaves on city pavement, cobblestones, etc. They are easy to clean with a soft cloth. I have not yet polished them. There is room enough for an orthotic or other arch support, without compromising the toe box or width and heel.

I love these booties! Comfortable, can fit my orthotics in with plenty of room, nice quality leather. This is my first pair of Arcopedico and I originally thought they were a little pricey, but after trying them out, I love them so much it didn't matter!

I'm usually a size 7, so I originally ordered these in a 38 (recommended size) but they were too big. So I sent them back and got them in the 37. Perfect fit!

These shoes are extremely comfortable and stylish. I love the color and soft leather. I love how they snap on both sides, making them easy to put on. At first I thought they were not going to be all that comfortable because of the ridge on the bottom, but after walking in them around the house my feet adapted to the new feel and I walked all over in comfort, with no foot pain. I will buy again in a different color.

These boots are so cute I am tempted to wear them all year long. I like to travel with them as they are a breeze getting off and on. They are real leather and look like new two years after I bought them. I have small wide feet and the size 4.5-5 fit so well.

The fit was not the problem. I just didn't like the way they looked on my feet: the pleated section (for want of a better description) in the front was kind of floppy and looked goofy. Disappointing, as I know the brand is good and recommended by many. They just weren't for me.
