Using these shoes for work, where I work as IT support at a University. Needed shoes that will look good in an office environment yet still take a beating. The outer edge of the outsole on this shoe is solid, whereas some shoes have layered outsoles, which can delaminate on the edge as contact with common objects on floors occur (chair legs, table legs, boxes). So this shoe is perfect for me. Looks great, very comfortable, not a lot of arch support, fabric lining on inside upper, synthetic leather insole. Recommend using shoe horn while putting on shoes because socks and lining create a lot of friction. Nice shoes!

My husband LOVES these shoes! I ended up ordering them in brown too. He claims they are like "walking in clouds". He also said there wasn't a "break in period" and they were comfortable right away. I would recommend starting with this shoe instead of attempting a cheaper version...you'll end up wishing you had this one instead!

Hello, just a little note to tell about my several experiences with Zappos. It was actually my friends that first introduced me to the company. And I must say that on all accounts I have been satisfied. The service the products, return policy is in top quality. I will recommend Zappos to everyone. our last purchase for my son is this pair of Ecco shoes, again I am completely satisfied.

These are the best shoes ever! I have worn these shoes for about two years now as a consultant in New York City. I travel a lot in all seasons, and they still look great, are comfortable, maintain a good shape, no leakage, and a very tough sole! They are the best shoes ever!

Great shoe! Great price! My husband only wears Ecco shoes and we have purchased just about every style and color over the years. They don't wear out like other shoes and he is a 6'1" 220 lb guy who is hard on shoes! They are truly worth every penny. Thanks for free shipping, Zappos!

Great shoes. They fit well and are comfortable. Second pair of Eccos I have purchased through Zappos and have been happy with both. I do agree with another review in that I would prefer Ecco to remove the brand logo from the exterior of the shoe. As with all of my orders, Zappos quality and customer service are truly exceptional.

This is the most stylish Ecco model that I have seen - but alas, I had to return it because this is more of a dress shoe. I already have a pair of dress shoes to go with my suits, but I needed an office/career-type shoe that can take lots of walking, and the sole of the New Jersey is relatively thin. I ended up buying the Ecco Seattle. It is just as good looking as the New Jersey, but with a sturdier, thicker sole.

These are comfortable shoes that are well suited for the office. The cushioned heel is what I find provides the comfort. Break in takes a couple of days. As always the service from Zappos cannot be beat with an excellent website and super fast shipping!

Have had only a few days, but have worn a couple of times all day at the office. The shoe is very comfortable and already feels broken in. No real stiffness to the shoe at all -- in a good way. Toe box is square and extended, making the shoe feel a little bit long, but there is plenty of room for your toes. Already my new favorite pair of dress shoes.

This is my husband's second pair of these shoes. He wore the first pair so much he completely wore them out. He is a teacher and walks constantly around the classroom. These are the only nice, black shoes that he has found to be comfortable enough to wear in the classroom.

I've owned at least two pairs of these shoes and they are amazing! Love the style and it's really hard to beat the comfort of Ecco shoes!

Runs a little large but overall comfortable and very light - this coming from someone who is in the restaurant business in the desert! On my feet all day with 110 degrees outside.

The shoe took a couple of hours to loosen up, but it fits and feels like other Ecco shoes I own. Fabulous! Zappos is the only place to order from. I save money and they are always delivered within a day or two. Really is unbelievable. Thanks!

I had to order a size smaller than my normal size. Other than that, the shoe fits great and is moderately comfortable.

Overall, another great purchase from Zappos and buying Ecco dress shoes. Not my favorite style, but they were for the $76 price tag. Fit and finish great like every other Ecco shoe purchased.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Was unsure about what size to get because of the European sizing. Normally get an 11, but went down to the 10-10.5 size, 44 I think. The fit was good. Next size up would have been too big.

Slipped on and felt good right away. Not as stylish as my other ECCO but still a good looking shoe to match with my earth tone clothing.

I loved the shoes - but the inserts are glued in place. So, for people who prefer their own insert (orthotic), I suggest another shoe.

Comfortable shoes. Heel is wearing a bit quicker than I think it should.

They ran at least a full size big.

Overall I'm happy with these shoes. They seem to be breaking in faster than my Rockports did. Day four and I'm not noticing much discomfort anymore which doesn't seem bad for this type of shoe. I do recommend alternating every other day with older shoes while breaking them in or you'll end up with blisters. They look good and the price was reasonable. My biggest complaint is the length of the laces. They are barely long enough to do a single knot. Tying a double knot is out of the question which is what I like to do. That being said I haven't had any issues with them coming untied so far so maybe it doesn't matter.

Great looking very stylish pair of shoes. I love Ecco shoes and own a number of their products. The only thing I can pick on with these is they seem to have less cushioning in them and much less arch support than other Ecco shoes I have bought. Other than that - very happy with them.

This shoe was much longer than all my other Eccos. I have 6 pairs, all size 45. This style is definitely longer than the rest. The fit was the same every where else, but the toe box was about a half to 1 full size longer.

I wear the ECCO shoes quite frequently. These shoes are very comfortable and look great. I have not had them for a long time. Initial impressions are good. ECCO continues to provide good looking shoes. I would like to see a bit more cushioning in the insole.
