I have read a few other reviews that said the same thing about Havaianas: the sizing is a bit tricky. I wear an 8, but found the 7/8s a bit too small, so I'm returning them for the next size up. My heels were close to hanging off the back! I think the 7/8s are fine if your foot is 7 to 7 1/2. Otherwise, very comfy and they look great, a classic summertime flip flop!

I needed navy thongs and these worked. I normally like thongs with a little more substance but these worked just fine.

Sandals run big if you are a 7/7.5. I bought the 37/38 = 7/8 (US) it was half size too big. But I kept them because I did not want to risk getting the 35/36 = 5/6 and have it be too small. So if you are in between and a half size like a 7.5 just know that the 37/38 fits like an 8 not a 7 or 7.5. But they are comfy and cute.

Very soft & comfortable right out of the box, but after a week or so of wearing, the straps have stretched and the flip flops are very loose on my feet. My foot has slipped forward and my toes are sticking out the front.

These are really cute and comfy, but I thought they ran a little small. I am a size 7 so I thought they\'d be perfect, but I\'m right at the edge of them.

Great and comfy. However, the rubber band sometimes makes my skin red on the top inside.

I wear a size 8 US, and got the 39-40 which = 7\\\/8. They fit perfectly.\\r\\n\\r\\nLove the cushioning and texture of the bottoms. Not quite so crazy about the feel of the rubber straps. I think they would be perfect with fabric straps like my old Reefs.\\r\\n\\r\\nStill, a very nice flip-flop.

These ran really small. The size said 11/12, but I gave them to my daughter who wears a 10 and they fit her. Nice durable flip, but ran small.

I have been wearing Havaianas for about 12 years. As in the past, I bought this pair to replace the old, broken pair. Three times in the past, a strap has ripped (all three times while walking in public...). All Havaiana flip flops that I have replaced were old & worn, so I didn't have a concern about material quality. With this new pair,however, I noticed that the straps fit very loose on my foot. While I do have narrow feet, these flip flops never felt so loose & unsecured on my foot. Now, I am doubting the manufacturing quality of the shoe. I have decided to return the flip flops & look to other brands for a flip flop staple. Side note: I had no sizing problem as reported by other people.

What happened to Havaianas? I’ve been buying these exact ones for years now. This pair felt cheap. Rubber was thinner and shiny. The V rubber on top of foot was all twisted sideways. I kept them anyway, thinking it would flatten out. It didn’t. I’ll only buy in the store now, where I can see the quality first.

I love these flip flops but does anyone else have the problem of the straps being usually shaped? I have order pairs directly from Havaianas website as well as Zappos and Nordstrom. They all came with very awkward straps. I wear a size 4/5 woman's. I have a shoe size of 6 medium and these sandals just fit very awkward. They are fine in the foot length but the straps just fit weird. I don't notice any other reviews where this seems to be the case.

I was looking for flip-flops with somewhat flexible soles and that's what Havaianas provides. My order was upgraded for free by Zappos, and arrived super fast! Great service, thanks.

I'm so confused by these flip flops. I got black tops in size 11. When I got them it says on the sole US size 9, but UK size 41/42 (which is 11 in US) They are def. not a 9, but barely an 11. It's more like 10.5 I feel like. They do feel comfy, but if you're an 11/12 I don't think you'll be too pleased. I got basic black so I'll keep them, they just fit, but not in a good way like if this was an actual shoe my toes would hurt from being crammed.

I like my flips, but the service from Zappos is even better. I got my order in one day. I think I ordered on a Thursday afternoon and was promised by Monday, but they came for the weekend on Friday. Amazing. Plus, the shipping was free!

Poor quality, worth it to upgrade to a better shoe

This is my first pair of Tops. I have a pair of the Slims and they have stretched a bit, so I thought these would be a better choice. The pair that came was marked the same size as my Slims, but is so much larger, they were impossible to wear. In fact, they were so big, they fit my husband's feet! I wish the company would get their US sizes correct. So many people have to return sandals that should fit, but don't.

This particular one (black, size 4/5 mens or 5/6 womens) is specifically on sale because the sizing is off. It's a full size smaller than marked. I wear a 36 EU (this is marked as 37 EU) and it was too short. I think it is actually a 35 EU.

I've been wearing Havaiana flip flops for years and years. Nothing else in the summer. This past year, I'm disappointed in their quality now. In the past, I could have a pair for years before they either break or it's time for a new pair. Last year I purchased a pair in June 2021. Wore them all summer and a couple times in the fall and they broke in November 2021. I was shocked. Never have I had a pair break so soon. I got another pair and I started wearing them in May/June 2022 and they broke today July 2022. I was getting out of the car and it was just hanging on my foot. I'm not sure if I'm just getting faulty pairs or what's happening but I have literally never had them break like this before. I'm hesitant to buy another pair because they're not cheap and to only get a couple months of wear out of them it crazy to me.

I have 3 other pair of Havaianas and they are all a good, tight, comfortable fit. The straps on these Navy blue ones are too big and it is hard to keep on your feet. Also, hurts to walk in them that way because you have to grip the flip flop with your toes. I should have sent them back but didn't want to take a chance the next pair was the same. Wish they were consistent. I ordered another pair once where the straps were too large and returned. I regret not exchanging these.

These flip flops disappoint me every time I don't know why I keep buying them. After wearing them like three times, the top of the flip flop becomes super slippery that they are not comfortable to walk in because you have to hold them down with your toes when you take a step. Just poor material quality. It's misleading because when you get them they have a little bit of rubbery tack on the top so you think that they will be easy to walk in, but it wears off quickly.

These flips flops pure garbage, when it comes to comfort. Style ok, but they are not comfortable at all. Spend more money and get your self comfortable flips flops. Hard rubber between toes and edges makes very unconformable and cuts into the skin.

DO NOT BUY THESE HAVIANAS! Wore them to the beach tonight and the BLACK DYE bled all over my feet and transferred to my rental WHITE SOFA! Desperately trying to get the BLACK tar-like residue that came off of the straps off of the fabric. Someone needs to contact me--this is a manufacturing flaw--where is the rubber coming from? How do FLIP FLOPS get screwed up?

I sent my flip-flops back immediately. They were very very poor quality I look like something I might get at a convenience store

I've worn Havaianas for as long as I can remember but for whatever reason, these two pairs that I ordered recently from Zappos don't appear to have been built correctly. I think they're either knock-offs somehow or that something is up with Havaianas because the straps on these are anchored much lower than usual and the straps comically long. This results in a flip flop that doesn't grip the foot in any way and kind of just shoots off as you're walking. Unfortunately we don't have any intention of returning them as we've busted our last pair so will at least be using these until we can buy replacements. Attaching a photo to show the hilariously weird proportions. I'm still a loyal Havaianas customer though as they're usually very reliable. I might order them elsewhere though as it seems like these might not be authentic.
