The BEST flip flops and worth every penny! I won't wear anything else. Comfortable and supportive which are not two words one normally associates with flip flops. They are also very durable and last a long time. Try them - you will immediately feel the difference between Havaiana's and cheap chain store flip flops. I wear a size 8 and the 37/38 fit perfectly. Beware of buying these off of sites not authorized to sell Havaiana's and only buy from trusted sites such as Zappo's - I won't make that mistake again!

These are cute but I like the "slims" better as these are much wider appearing when I look down at my feet. I still wear these as I live beachside year round and except for 2 weeks in the winter when I pull out my Uggs I'm flip flopping around town.

The first pair of Havaianas top flip flops I ordered were a full size too small (I am women's 11 wide, so I had ordered the women's 11/12, men's 9/10 size). My big toe went off/over the side and the length was toe to heel with no extra flip flop at all. If you want even a 1/4 to 1/2 inch beyond your toe/heel you will want to order a full size larger. I got the men's 11/12 and they are perfect- still only 1/4 inch past my toes and about 1/2 inch past my heel and big toe stays on. They are slightly narrower than other men's flip flops I've had but still fit me good. The plastic thong is a little twisted on one of them but I just adjust it as I put it on and it is fine after that. Customer service was great to work with. They even said I could donate the small pair so I didn't have to mess with returning them!

These are pretty good flip flops. I have owned various Havaianas over the years, and they are good for quick jaunts outside in warm weather, or they make good flexible shower shoes for people who travel a lot. They fit well, although I find the straps rub/chafe the sides of my feet after over a half hour of wear, regardless of how well the sandals fit (it's more the material of the straps that causes the rubbing). The rubbery insole/outsole is nice for shock absorption, but when sand grains get caught between the strap and your foot, that's kind of painful too (so I don't wear these to the beach anymore). I think I am going to stop buying Havaianas due to these little discomforts, but they are well-made and will work for most people. And they definitely look cute.

I listened to the other reviews and ordered a size up. I am normally an 8 and ordered the 39/40 size listed as a Women's 9/10. Go by the US Men's sizing listed which means ordering a size up. Definitely a good purchase! Very comfortable!

I have these Havaianas Top Flip Flops in multiple colors. Love 'em and wear them year round. This review is specifically a comment on the WHITE colored flops. Just an FYI if you're thinking about ordering these....the straps are white but the base is sort of an off-white color, not a true white. So if you're looking for a bright white flip flop, this is not for you.

I am not sure how I feel about these. I purchased due to reviews but they feel oversized. I did get the recommended size for a size 8 foot and it seems large but one size down would be too small I think. I am normally a Reef or Yellow box girl.

No arch support, but fairly comfortable and well-made. True to size. Not a good choice if you are on your feet a lot or walking all day, but a good choice for casual, cute, everyday slippas.

A lot of folks find two common problems with these flips. First that the straps are too loose and second that the toe straps tend to pop out very easily. I find both problems very true. There is any easy solution to both. Split plastic washers. Buy a package at the hardware store that are just a bit wider than the strap plug. Installing one on the toe strap keeps them from popping out ever again. If the fit seems loose you can add more than one, but also add them to the back straps too. This shortens the straps and tightens up the fit. Other manufacturers add the split washer to their flips to keep the toe strap in. I remembered that one day when the toe strap kept popping out of my Havianas on a really hot day when the soles heated up and softened. After several hours on very hot feet I came across a store with a hardware section and presto, my Havianas were like new. Actually I'd much rather have the sandals break on a hot day, than when it's cold. I find cold ground way more uncomfortable than blazing hot ground, and going barefoot in the heat feels way more "normal" and fun than when it's freezing out. In a pinch, if you really dread walking barefoot and need to fix your flip flops quickly and the strap has only popped out, you can wrap an elastic band or girl's hair tie around the offending strap a few times. It will hold until you can effect permanent repairs.

Fit nicely. The problem is that the bed looks navy but the uppers have a purple hue - so didn't match the description.

I am glad I read the reviews first. Sizing is off and not just with the sizing info listed but with the product as well. I wear a solid size 8 medium and the 39/40 was the best fit. There's approximately a half inch to an inch leftover but I would rather have them a little larger than have my heals or toes hanging off. If you are a size 7 I would go with the 37/38. The sizing references a size 7/8 but I would say that the 39/40 would best fit a US size 8/9. The flip flops are very basic in design but soft and comfortable in comparison to other more expensive brands. I also like the fact that there is plenty of width as I do not care for the skinny looking flip flops that disappear under your feet. Overall I feel these are worth the asking price. As always Zappos is the superior leader in shipping and customer service! I will come back again and again for their top notch customer service and lightening fast shipping/delivery.

Yay! Finally found the size that fits! I wear an 8 in women's and had to order 39/40 Brazil (US men's 7/8, women's 9/10)...fits perfect! Can't wait to wear all the time!

My first pair of Havaianas. I love these and will order more in different colors. They fit quite differently than the Slim Flip Flop...smaller.

Great purchase! Although Havaianas are a more expensive than your average flip flop, they're worth the price. Comfy and durable on my beach vacation.

They're the sturdiest, most formidable flip flops I've ever owned, yet not the most comfortable. The piece at the side that goes under my foot is somewhat stiff and is annoying, especially on my left foot. I'm hoping that, with wear, that subsides.

I'm posting a review mostly since there's a bit of size confusion and I wanted to throw in my 2 cents. I'm a solid 7.5 in shoes, and I ordered the 37/38 Brazil / 7/8 US size (I have an old pair that fits great and this is the size of my old pair). The shoe itself says 37/38 as the Brazilian size and 6 as the USA size (as does my old pair). Nevertheless, this size fits me perfectly (my foot goes right to the back edge of the flip flop which might seem a tad small for some but works for me). That said, I would say these run a bit small. The 7/8 (per Zappos sizing) that I have would almost definitely be too small for someone who's a true size 8. I got these in ruby red, and I think they'll be super versatile.

Not sure how well these will hold up over time but for the cost and amount of cushion, I'll take it. if you're on the high end of the size, you may want to order the next size up as well.

I liked that in the picture the slippers are shiny, bright red. When I got them, they were a little dull red. I still kept them as they are comfy.

As always, these Havaianas are super comfy. Than said, the sizing is so wierd I had to order 5! pairs just to get a pair that fit. And these arent my first pair either! Seriously, the sizing is all over the place so I recommend ordering your real size US and a size up and a size down just to get a pair that will fit. Really.

A huge Haviana and Zappos fan; four stars for sizing problem. The first time I ordered my regular size, they were too small and ended up going on vaca sans new Havianas (boo). Decided to try again and ordered two sizes of each (black and brown) and ended up with the ones marked a size larger than my old Havianas. Zappos-- fix the error to save time and money!

These are nice flip flops, but there's not really anything that spectacular about them. The strap felt loose compared to Old Navy flip flops, which I normally wear, but these still fit fine. Comfy and adequate.

Havaianas Tops (flip-flops) - I ordered 3 of the size 9/10 in black, navy and brown. They are stamped on the inside sole as size 7/8 and 39/40. The black and navy fit. The brown were also stamped 7/8 and are definitely smaller. Zappos sent me two additional pairs in the 9/10 (stamped 7/8) before one was a tad bit bigger. My toes are about 1/16" from the edge so. I gave up and kept them. Additionally, the straps on the brown ones are poorly molded. The straps are twisted so do not lay on my foot. I am keeping the brown but am not especially pleased by the situation. Clearly the quality and size control is lacking. That said I must say the Zappos customer reps tried very hard to correct the problems. I keep going back to Zappos because they choose to provide excellent customer satisfaction.

The size on this was right on, no problem there. It did run narrow for me, though I do not generally wear a wide shoe width, but I think I'm on the cusp of "wideness," if that makes sense. I found the slight ridges on the footbed to be somewhat irritating to my feet. For someone with regular width feet that aren't sensitive these seem to be great flip-flops -- they fit snugly, but not tight; the thong wasn't irritating; they surprisingly didn't make a huge "thwack, thwack" noise as I tried them out. I wish they'd worked out for me.

I wear them, but they are not very comfortable because of the material. It is a rubbery, stiff feel against my foot. I'm hoping they soften up.
