PLEASE READ! Contrary to what others have said, Zappos actually has the sizes listed correctly. For example, on the BRAZIL 39/40, the sandal will say US 7/8, which is the MENS size. That being said, in the Havaianas TOP, the 39/40, I would say, is a SMALL 9/10 for women, meaning that if you are a size 10, this sandal will be too small. However, if you are struggling with sizes, remember this: the TOP sandal is cut short. For my size 9 feet, I need the TOP sandal in a 39/40 because of the length of the footbed, but I can wear a 37/38 in the SLIM style because the straps are looser and the footbed is longer. I love both sandals for different reasons: the TOP is softer and more comfy, and the SLIM comes in really cute prints and looks a little less sporty.

This is a nice, basic, comfortable flip flop. Perfect for casual days at the beach and water. I did order the next size larger than I usually wear after reading the reviews. It fits perfectly!

Love the Havaianas flip flops. They do run a little large. A 7/8 is more like 8/9. Recommend ordering Havaianas from Zappos.

Havaianas are the best flip flops! I have 4 pairs of them including the slim. These Havaianas Tops give a little more support with the tiny wedge. Very comfortable!

I love this shoe. I've ordered it in all colors. My foot is fairly wide and hard to fit, but this one is perfect and extremely comfortable. Geat walking shoe.

Seem to be authentic Brazilian Havaianas (by the company Alpargatas) but same numerical size (39-40, around 9-10 USA) seems larger. I compared my old 39-40 pair bought in Brazil in 2013 (orange in photos) with new 39-40 pair bought now (blue in photos). The new ones are definitely longer by a quarter inch or so. It's possible Havaianas changed their sizing in recent years while keeping numbering the same. I wish the new ones were shorter like the old ones, but since the top thong part fit the same, I decided to keep the new ones. Unfortunately, the slightly longer/larger size means I sometimes trip and bend the tip. Hopefully, I'll get used to the slightly longer length.

While I ordered this model Zappos sent the slim instead. I decided to keep it since I had already returned a different color (gold) for the blue and needed these for the gym. I like the color better but prefer the top model to the slim. It's more comfortable.

Best flip flops ever. They are so comfortable and last a long time. The pair I had before this pair lasted three years.

The listing states size 9/10 is euro 39/40. this is wrong. these are fantastic quality and color is vibrant, the tag states 39/40 size 7/8. the listing needs to be revised. I wear a size 10 so these must go back.

For a basic flip flop, it's pretty sturdy and the thong between the toe is comfortable.

After buying and returning 3 different pairs of Havaianas due to a size problem, I switched to a different style of Havaianas and ordered "Havaianas Top." I am completely satisfied with the style and fit of this one; it's pretty true to the sizing chart. And the people in customer service at Zappos were incredible! Too bad more companies weren't this customer oriented...keep up the good work.

I absolutely love the Havaianas. I have several colors. They just seem to grip and fit better plus look great!

I ordered several colors in these Havaianas as they are my go to for summer only to be very disappointed that they all had very mis-shapen toe thongs. that didn't fit at all like the 4 pari I have ordered over the years. They felt much thinner and less well made. Photos take too long to download.

I wear size 11 and the ones that were sent to me were in European size 41/42 but it is marked US size 9... The size was way off. They are the perfect black flip flop; just wish the size was right.

I absolutely love zappos! And these sandals too! They came next day and I haven't stopped wearing them! They are the most comfortable sandals out there, are the price, you just can't beat!

I do not know what took me so long to buy a pair of these! They are cute and comfortable, and innocuous enough to wear with a multitude of different looks. I went with the advice of the other reviewers and ordered a size larger than I normally wear - I am usually a size 8, ordered the US 9/10 and they fit perfectly. For the price, these are a great buy. I love all the colors, too.

I love Havaianas as far as flip flops go but that's just what they are. I only gave them 3 stars for comfort since you can only walk in flip flops for so many hours without feeling a little pain (at least when you're 56).

Perfect by-the-pool and shower shoes! You'd think flip flops would be easy enough to find, but I've had some really bad ones. These are consistently the best. I am usually an 8.5 but the 7/8's fit perfectly.

These outlast the cheaper ones by 5 to 1. I go up a half size. I try others but always come back to these.

These are great flip flops - they fit true to size and last a surprisingly long time. They take a little while to wear in since the straps are plastic because this can aggravate skin for a little bit. I love them and just bought my fourth pair.

Love these flip flops. They are really comfortable! They also fit perfectly and look nice. I have wide feet, but the medium width was fine.
