I am in a "Shape Up the Nation" contest with 5 other team members this Fall. I purchased a pair of Skechers Shape Ups to use in this competion. I liked them so well that I searched the internet for a pair to wear with dresses. I just love my Shape Ups! They are so comfortable and have helped my feet, legs, hips, thighs, and stomach to firm up. I wear one of my pairs of Shape Ups all the time and everyday of the week. The tie-up ones are for my everyday use and the "Sleek Fit" are for dress (I bought them in black). I can guarantee you they are well worth the price I paid for them! I will never be without a pair of "Shape Ups" again!

I love these shoes! Initially it took some getting used to because my ankles swelled up the first week (I think partly because I never wear anything with support), but after that these are all I wear when I\'m not dressing up! Will probably get another pair!

Love these shoes. I hate to take them off. I have big feet so I have to order a 10. Like others said, they do run on the small side so a half size up would probably be better. I am on my feet all day and these shoes have helped with a lot of the aches and pains that I would experience. My feet are not sore and my back feels better. I will definitely be wearing these shoes on Black Friday this year for the marathon day of shopping. Quit debating and buy them. You will not be disappointed.

At first I was kind of hesitant in wearing them every day. It was sort of hard to get used to them since the shoes are heavier than my normal pair of Brooks. I walk uphill at lunch and so far my feet don't hurt. It's a matter of getting used to them. No I can't leave the house without wearing my pair. So for me, so long as they will help me fix my posture and help me lose weight, then I think I'll keep them. They do run half size smaller, so try to order half size larger when doing so. I've been wearing them for a month now so hopefully I'll continue to wear them and I walk everyday uphill.

I wanted to buy a pair of comfortable shoes to wear with scrubs for work. Since I have a high arch, I didn't want "Crocs" style or nurses' shoes and gym shoes that are flat. I have been curious about how this type of "fitness" shoes work, so I thought I'd give it a try. Such pair definitely keeps you on your toes. Your legs feel "springy" and engaged. I can see how this would help keep your legs toned. Like anything else, our feet and bone structures are all different. The inside seam of the left shoe hits my bony protrusion, just below the small toe, and this gets pretty sore until I reposition my foot and loosen the strap a bit. It's also just a "break-in period," and I don't feel that at all without socks. I don't have any issue with my right foot. Also remember that this is a different type of footwear; when you squat down on the floor to grab a chart or something, don't lean all the way back like you would with regular gym shoes; you'll roll all the way back. Bottom line, these are comfortable, engaging, and that makes this pair a good walk-around choice. I'll get a pair of neutrals for running errands/shopping.

I have been in a wheelchair for years. The only time I walk is with my walker for short distances. I saw the ad for Skechers Shape Ups and thought they might help strengthen my legs, and they have! I am now in physical therapy hoping to walk again!

I was skeptical about the toning properties of the shoes, but loved the style and padded feel on my foot. I have read that some don't feel any difference in terms of toning, but it seems that most of those who say that also say they are already pretty fit. Since I am not particularly fit yet (but working on it) I have definitely felt the difference between wearing these vs. regular tennis or walking shoes. The very first time I wore them I felt it in my calves, back of thighs and rear end, and woke up sore the next day in those areas. It has gotten easier with time but there is definitely still a tight feeling in the back of the thigh and calves when walking. I did not heed the recommended "break in" period and simply put them on and took a 45 minute walk during my lunch break my first time out. I didn't experience any difficulty walking in them, they felt very natural and comfortable. The only caution I would give is to be careful walking up/down steps until you get used to them, if you hit the curved part of the sole wrong you might lose balance, but on even ground I had no problems. I love the Mary Jane style. I have them in black and they're perfect for slipping on for a quick lunchtime walk while wearing business clothes; while they're a bit clunky, they still look fine with skirts/dress pants (definitely better than bright white tennies). They also fit fine with tights/dress socks; no need to add thick athletic socks with this style. I have only had them for a few days, but so far I am very pleased with them and feel that they do give me a little extra toning vs. regular walking shoes. Even ignoring any toning benefits, these shoes are extremely comfy and feel great on your feet, and have noticed that I do stand up straighter/have better posture wearing them. I would recommend trying them.

When I ordered my Skechers Shape Ups I had looked all over the Salt Lake area for this particular shoe. Since wearing them I have totally enjoyed these shoes. They have helped not only my back problems but my leg problems as well. I wear them mainly to walk my dog and I have found that the aches and pains I used to have have all but disappeared. These shoes are the greatest. I also introduced them to my hairdresser and she is now wearing them every day to do hair and says that her legs and feet don't get as tired and her back doesn't hurt at night.

Love these! Cute and very comfy. Also got the black and white tie version Shape Up. Great for walking the dogs. I work out a lot so I'm not so sure that they will give me a workout, but the comfort while walking can't be beat.

I love the shoes. I've gotten a lot of positive comments about them. They fit a little tight when I first put them on, but they did stretch and they feel comfortable now. I do think they helped my posture and they are so great to walk in. I wear them every day to work. I would say they run true to size.

I wasn't really sure about these when I first got them, but the are great. I got the Mary Janes because my feet swell and oxfords get really tight at the end of the day. The Mary Janes work very nice. I work at a middle school and I noticed today another woman there has some on as well, she liked them, too.

I love shape ups and wear the ones with shoe laces for my morning walk and exercise. These Mary Jane type shape ups are more for fashion as they don't have the same support as the others and are more loose fitting. After wearing shape ups, can't imagine wearing any other tennis shoes.

These shoes are awesome! They are so cute, and awesome if you have a job where you stand all day. I noticed immediately that I walk and stand with better posture when I wear these shoes. I get compliments on them everywhere I go!

Love these shoes. They have certainly lived up to the description given and the testimonials as to their comfort and benefits to posture and muscle toning. They have become my primary and my favorite casual shoe. In addition, I am impressed with the ease of dealing with Zappos as a distributor. I really like these shoes. Takes a little getting used to, but doesn\'t take long. They force me to stand up straighter and are easy to wear and they\'re also cute.

Nice! This is my second pair of Shape Ups. I used to do a lot of walking and my feet always felt like they are "pounding the pavement". The Shape Ups are very cushy so you do not get that feeling. I go to the gym everyday, but wanted to add about a 30 minute walk in the evening. They are very comfortable and I feel them working my backside. I went 1/2 size up, which is what I always do with an athletic shoe. Zappos upgraded my shipping and I received them the next day (ordered at 10 p.m. night before). Thank you!

I absolutely love these shoes, you can feel that you are working out, the first time I tried them on I felt like I was walking on my tip-toes it was weird, but they are very, very comfortable. I use them to walk around the house or when I take my son to the park just for an extra work-out routine!!!!!

This shoe was such a perfect fit I bought 2 pairs in different colors, black and stone. It was instant comfort the moment I put them on. Wore them all day right out of the box, did lots of walking, and they still felt as good at days end. The velcro strap makes it easy to get on and off, nicely padded collar prevents pressure points on your foot/ankle. The shape up sole makes you feel like you are gliding on air. Great shoe, highly recommended. I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. These were perfect. Size was accurate.

I have ordered 3 more pairs of Shape-Ups since I received my Sleek Fit. These are the only shoes I want to wear from now on. I suffer from bone spurs in my left foot and ankle. Since I started wearing my Sleek Fit, I have no pain at all. Also, I really feel my legs and glutes getting toned. I would recommend these to anyone!

My new Skechers are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I am a nurse, and spend a lot of time walking. Hope they make some other colors soon.

This is perhaps the best, most comfortable pair of shoes I have purchased to date! Bring more colors in this style, please. I did size up a half size, and glad I did. I usually go barefoot in my shoes, but I can wear socks with these. Perfect comfort, perfect step, and the best part? No back ache! Even when standing still. Love.

I'm so very pleased with my Shape Ups. I had foot surgery about 3 months ago and with these shoes I feel no pain at all, and it helps me to exercise my foot. I recommend them to anyone who is on there feet for long periods of time, they are super comfortable. And true to size, I love them!
