Very comfortable and true fit

I have previously had the same pair for years they are a bit stretched out and dirty now so I felt it was a good time to break another pair in

I ordered the Dakota in the Black I. It looks like this is an older version based on the lacing and the box they came in. They also did not fit as well as my other Ugg Dakota's. I returned those and got the Black II. The lacing is crisp and new looking, the box matches other newer versions I have of Uggs and they fit much better. They are a keeper.

SIZES DIFFERENT PER COLOR! I ordered several pairs of the Ugg Dakotas in different colors and sizes. The chestnut size 7 fits like an Ugg 7 should. Very snug at first but no toe pain initially. I really wanted the pewter color, but I ordered 4 pairs of size 7. One was used, one was damaged, but all were at least 1/2 size too small. I measured the length against the chestnut 7. The pewter was MUCH smaller every time. I tried an 8 in the pewter, but it seemed true to size and flopped off my foot upon first trying it on. So, it was much too big. There is no arch support other than the fluff of the insole. Ugg quality and consistency really went down hill several years ago. That said, they still make the best slipper on the market. I wanted the Ansley or Dakota because you can remove the insole easily for replacement. Very Very Very happy with the Ugg Dakota Chestnut in 7. Constantly amazed by Zappos patience with me. :)
