I'd originally gotten a pair of very soft ugg moccasins a few years ago, but they seem to've been discontinued. Ordered these as an alternative. They were delivered promptly, but I had to return as the leather was not soft and the shoes were too small. I ordered a size 8, but they were not correctly sized. I understand that you have to give time for your footprint to press the shearling into form, but it was a struggle to work a foot into the shoe and they were very tight.

The lining of these Ugg slippers is nowhere near as good quality as it used to be. Now, the lining just gets weirdly matted and flattened down into a hard inner sole very quickly.
I’m not comparing to the very first Uggs, which used to have the sheepskin lining, but I am comparing these exact same Ugh slippers I had in past years - the synthetic lining used to be much higher quality than it is now. The fluffy insole used to stay softer and nice for longer. It used to feel much nicer against my bare feet. Now it feels synthetic and cheap.
The outer quality seems just as good and I had now issue with stitching so far.
Now, I’m not convinced these slippers are worth the price.

I'd worn Dakotas for decades but no more, sadly these were my last Uggs after having bought many styles. Purchased these Dakotas in 2017 & by 2020 the insole & all linings were completely worn through with just indoor wear; previous Dakotas had lasted me about 10 years with new insoles at 5 years. The quality decline began when Uggs changed manufacturing locations: Uggs are no longer the quality footwear they once were. I switched to LL Bean sheepskin slippers & thus far am getting better quality at a lower price for the exact same type slipper.

My last pair of slippers from UGG lasted 10 years. These are not the same. They are uncomfortable and fall apart. DO NOT BUY!

The slipper were an ugly pink unlike what it showed on the internet AND the slippers were so huge they would not even stay on my feet. Certainly not like usual Ugg quality.

Tough on sizing. For reference I wear an 8 in Asics, Lucky, and Sam Edelman, and I wear a 7.5 in Vans, Chuck Taylor, and Frye. I wear a size 7 Ugg in the Classics, Ansley and Dakota. I have tried Uggs in size 8 and find that they slip off my heel at first try on. The Ugg 7 is snug on me, but breaks in and molds to my feet. I have gotten 2 different pair that were way to tight and had to be returned, the sizes are not always consistent.

I had waited months and months for the Espresso Dakota slippers to come back in my size. Well worth the wait! Espresso is the perfect color name as they are a lovely dark, rich brown. Wear any one of the 3 pairs constantly. Only complaint is that all three colors in the same size have fit differently. Black ones are overly roomy, pewter color fits more snug and definitely shorter and the espresso color is longer and somewhat loose.

Comfortable, elegant, and classy. As an educator, I am constantly on my feet at work. I bought these in every color you have, and I have matching color professional attire and I have to say, these outfits look amazing with these shoes.
