After about a year and a half, the stitching split on the top front, right above my big toe. Very disappointing because these are so expensive and Uggs have served me well in the past. Cozy, but you may do better with Minnetonka or LL Bean.

This shoe runs very small. I usually wear an 8 but think I need an 8.5 or even a 9. It even looked small when it came out of the box. Seems really warm and cozy though, if it were the right fit.

good fit in toes both slippers but very large in heels when wearing socks. Not comfortable with socks off. Quite surprised about UGGs. In the past I have worn them out. So I'm not sure what has happened with these.

Unfortunately the feel and fit of Ugg Dakotas has changed over the years. The new size 7 is about 1/2 size too big, and the new size 6 is about 1/2 size too small. My heel slipped right out of size 7, and 6 was much too tight. Also, the side of the size 6 is higher than my older size 7 Dakotas, and hit and irritated my ankle bone. The feel of the Dakotas has become much stiffer over the years. Maybe it’s the water resistant suede. I really wanted a water resistant brown pair to wear outside with socks. The new ones did not mold to my feet, with or without socks. Also, the bottom outer soles of the new ones are slightly narrower than my older Dakotas, and my foot is off balance. The two pairs of Dakotas that I bought about 7 years ago are still perfect. They are size 7, are true to size, softer than the new Dakotas, and have molded to my feet. I am very disappointed. I had to return both new pairs.

First, I want to say I never write a review, but I was so disappointed with these slippers, I had to write. I have a pair of UGG Dakota slippers from a few years back with a natural shearling liner that I absolutely LOVED. These new slippers are NOT made with shearling, but a very strange synthetic material. These slippers are being returned. Please bring back the original UGG Dakota slippers with the shearling liner!

I really liked these slippers but sadly it was obvious they had been worn and are used. This is not the first time this has happened to me when shopping at Zappos. Seems every pair of shoes have bought from Zappos over the last few years was used when received. I used to love Zappos and it was always my go to for shoes in the past. Sadly no more... I can’t justify spending full price for used merchandise.

THESE ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE: first i was disappointed to realize when i opened the box i noticed the laces on one shoe was torn off i was t happy about that. The laces are not supposed to be undone at all. Here was my struggle with my poor size four foot: I started with a 5 went two whole sizes up because they run so small and this size 7 my bare heel showed everytime i took a step. Complete flip flops!! Too big! These are just not for me will be returning asap.

Not sure if this is a defect but there's a strip of fur missing along the seam which gave me a blister after wearing one day...returning.

The photo of the Dakotas in the Chestnut color is very misleading and very different from the shoes I actually received. While the photo makes the shoe look like a medium brown with dark brown laces, the shoes I received were very reddish-brown and clay-like, and the laces were maroon, not brown. I'm not sure if there is a variation in color with each pair of shoes or what, but the shoes I received looked nothing like the ones pictured here. The style also looks much more masculine in person than it does online, looking more like men's slippers than women's moccasins. But that's just my personal opinion.

I ordered a size 12 and they fit my mother who wears an 8, it was really weird. It was like 4 sizes too small.

Hurt my foot - While this was a pretty shoe, I got them in pink, and the fit was perfect, where the stitching was on the top of the right shoe, it rubbed and I even tried to wear thick socks to help, but I still had a huge blister, finally my husband had to get inside the shoe and actually cut the stitching that was right above my big toe joint, this did the job. But now I am just waiting for the entire stitching to come undone. I would recommend that if you buy this shoe, please just send it back if you have this problem, I will not buy the Ugg again, but will go back to another brand, this is the first time I purchased uggs in this style or any style. And was not pleased at all, with the costs of this shoe I could have just gone ahead and bought the Old Friend brand that is wonderful, but I wanted a pink prettier shoe. I will go back to the Old Friend as soon as this shoe starts to fall apart because I had to cut the part of the stitching that rubbed my foot.
