Purchased as gift - I bought these (beige/pink combo) as a Christmas gift for my sister-in-law, who has a pair of Ugg boots and loves them. She was really happy to get them - I thought the pink lace was a bit bright, but she was pleased with look and comfort. The sole is definitely sturdy enough for limited wear outdoors, but she said she'd probably keep them as indoor slippers only. She's a true size 7, with a pretty narrow foot, and she thought they fit well, though that might change with more wear - She had to remove her thick winter socks to fit her feet comfortably. All in all, great shoe - I'm going to look around for a pair for myself!

Warm and Comfortable - I love this shoe. I really like all the Ugg's but this one is great! It's very warm and it's actually good outside because of the rubber sole.

Good Ole Reliable Ugg Cozy Comfort - In Central New York it gets very cold and these keep my feet cozy and warm. I love the rubber treads, which allow me to trudge around outside in them. I also think they are timelessly attractive. The negatives: They can be too warm indoors and my feet sometimes sweat in them. They are a little longer and narrower than I'd like, but if they were less narrow they'd fall off of my foot because of the length. The rubber sole is pretty narrow, which gives my pinky toe the feeling it's been forgotten. The laces come untied frequently. The good qualities outweigh the bad. For the most part, they break in well and end up a nearly perfect fit.

Really Cozy - Wow, these are really cozy! These comfortable slippers do not give you much support, but they do the job when it's freezing outside. Ugg Dakota should only be worn as slippers or just out for a quick run to the gas station. They seem to fit to the true size. I would recommend them for only slipper use.

Very warm and cozy - bad for walking - Very warm and fuzzy! Perfect for cold New England. But no support in the shoe. Fine for a quick walk to the drug store, but not good for a dog walk.

Great, with a little assist. I have a pair of Ugg winter weather boots that I adore, so I ordered these slippers. They are adorable and the fleece feels great. But I wear an 8 1/2 and had to order a nine, which slipped in the heel. I added a gel insert which did help for the most part. In general, they are very sturdy and comfortable.

So Comfy!!! - I just got these and they are so comfortable. I wear a 9 1/2 but wanted them tight, so I ordered a 9. I got the brown so that it wouldn't get dirty easily but I really feel like I am walking on clouds. Highly recommended and it's still only September.

Heels slipped off as I walked. Didn't like the feel of Ugg Pure

I have ordered UGG slippers before and have never encountered this, but I had to return these because there is a hard lump at the heel where the UGG label is sewn in. It’s weird and feels quite uncomfortable.

I’m an outlier as I did not like these slippers at all. Ordered my usual size and they were too narrow (and I have a narrow foot), but somehow my heels still slipped out. Not warm at all—I had chilly toes while trying these out. Not soft and cozy, either. Styling was not cute. Comparatively, I’ve also tried the Wicked Good moccasins and those were like warm, fluffy clouds—which I would have kept except they were about a half size too large. The search continues!

Excited to finally find this shoe in my shoe size. The feel and comfort of this shoe A+. However as mentioned previously the back heel slips off of my left foot. A definite deal breaker. Unfortunately sending back.

Never know where these will be made any more or how they will fit. Checked two sizes to decide, length shifted, but width of insert was the same on both so feet rolled around in the larger size because the inserts were too small for the larger sized shoe. Love UGG but not as predictable as they used to be.

I have been wearing the Dakota slippers for years now in a size 8. I ordered three pairs this year and they are too short. My toe is hitting the front of the slipper. Consider ordering up a size if you are accustomed to a certain size in this slipper.

So, I normally wear a size 8.5 or 9. I ordered this in a 9 and it was too tight. I was afraid it would be really u comfortable if I wore a sock, so I exchanged it for a larger size, which had to be a 10. They are just as bad as the 9, if not worse! A slipper should be comfy right out of the box. These things would've killed my feet if I tried to “break them in”. This is why I hate ordering shoes. Guess I won’t be getting UGGS next time.

Bottom is totally slick. Slippers are nice and soft and conform to the foot but the bottom is soft plain leather. It does not grip tile or carpet at all.

Great Uggs except they run quite small. I had to return size 9 and get size 10 for my granddaughter: since there were no half sizes, had to order a full size up. The size 10 works. I recommend these comfort Uggs but order up.

These shoes badly need to exist in half sizes or at the very least in WIDE. The 7 falls out, the 6 is way too tight. For that price, I expected comfort not sore feet.

I really wanted to love these based on all the positive reviews, but they were awfully narrow (my feet on are the wide side, but not technically wide) and just not comfy enough to justify the price. Acorns for less than half the price were more comfortable and easier on my pocketbook.

Sweaty, smelly feet! I bought these because I love my boots and my feet are always warm and never sweaty. I thought these were the perfect and logical solution for slippers. I prefer the look of the open-heel style, but want my heel to be covered, so I chose these. These were very snug at first and my feet hurt for a few weeks while I broke them in. My toes were sore on the tops. If I got a larger size, they would fall off my feet. I think because there is less "breathing room" than the boot, they just make your feet sweat like crazy, which I've never had a problem with . I have to take the liners out and wash them, despite using the refreshing spray nightly. I do wear them all day, as I stay at home with my kids. They are super warm and comfy, though. Will buy the other style next time. I also had to take the strings out, because they never stayed tied. A bit disappointed.

Very snug fitting. Loved them but had to return because the bottom sole was too narrow and my foot didn't have enough support.

These were a gift. I love the look and feel. But the same look and feel are available in other brands at a much more reasonable price. Plus the sizing was way off.

I really wanted to love these slippers. But the 8 was too big, and the 7 too small. I returned the 8 for the 7, thinking they would stretch. They didn't. Took them to a shoe shop for stretching, didn't help. I'm just one of those in between size people that this slipper just doesn't work for me. Too bad. Zappos, as usual, was awesome.
