Loved these boots so much I bout them in black and brown. They are comfy and super sexy.

I didn't realize the calf size went up with shoe size, so even though it says it's a 17 inch circumference, in a size 11 it is much larger. I've never been able to find boots with calves wide enough to tuck my jeans into in stores, but these were much too big. I'll try again with wide calf rather than extra wide, I wish they had the measurements next to each shoe size as they do for some of the other Fitzwell boots. Very comfortable though, and they look great, except for the extra open space at the top, almost wore them anyway because I was so excited to get boots that are big enough, but will wait a few days longer to get boots that are just the right circumference. Love Zappos return policy and speedy shipping.

I loved everything about these boots. The heel height, suede texture, zipper and pull, height of shaft. I have very large legs with 19" calves. These boots were about half an inch too wide. I never had that problem before! Otherwise, they fit perfectly.

Still going strong after 2 years. Ordered these in December 09. I love them, I've worn them a ton of times & my calf is about 17 - 17 1/2. Huge but in these I have a little room, think they stretch a little. These are classic and will never go out of style. You can wear them with everything to every where. Worth every penny if you want a pair that will last you season after season.

Love these boots. I usually have a problem finding boots that fit my calves. These are a perfect fit, not too tight, not too loose. I feel sexy and fierce when I wear them. If you are thinking about buying them, take the leap. You will not regret the decision.

Love the boots. They look great and actually zip up. One problem -- the heels are taller than advertised. I'm measuring 3 7/8" instead of 3 1/4, unless I'm measuring from the wrong place.

I enjoy the boots very much. They were a little plain at 1st, but I bought jeweled chains for the ankle. I have large calves and these were a perfect fit. Pricey, but worth it.

When This boot came I was like a little kid at Christmas, so excited! It really is a great fit and I actually have room to but my jeans inside my boots! Love them

I bought these for my girlfriend because she needed a bigger and wider size. They fit true to size and they hug her legs very nice. She loves them and I think they are sexy as hell on her.

I was very surprised that the boots fit my calves! I have such a hard time finding boots that will zip all the way up. I am very satisfied.

LOVE THESE BOOTS! First of all, I'm extremely excited to even have a pair of boots to fit my calves! These boots are an excellent quality & are just beautiful!! Unfortunately, I'm going have to send them back because they are a tad bit too big at the top! I tried them on with a pair of skinny leg jeans and I still had a little space at the top. I love these boots so much that I even tried to mushroom my jeans to cover the gap but no luck. I'm 17.5" & I can stick my hand on the outside of my calf at the top. So Back to the drawing board for me, but I had to do a review about the quality and speedy service from Zappos!

This boot is very comfortable, cute, and it fits. It's a bit spacey around the top of the calves and my ankles, but I guess it'll be good for when I wear them with jeans. So far I've only worn them with tights and I love them

I just received these boots and absolutely love them. I have a 17 inch calf and they fit incredibly well and are very stylish. They are true to size. I wore them for 8 hours without any problems. The heel height was nice and fashionable. I recommend that anyone with a larger/wide foot give these a try. The heel height makes your foot appear smaller.

I love these boots. I have a regular size foot, but a large calf. They fit perfectly. The price is high, but you are paying for a quality, jazzy and fashionable boot!

I just received my new Christmas boots in the mail today and I am thrilled; they are stunning! I can actually tuck my pants into the boot; I have never been able to do this! I have a 17" calf at it's widest point and these fit beautifully, very true to size as well. Thank you for selling such a beautiful shoe!

I have large calves, and ordered these, hoping they would fit. Sadly, I have to return them (which I am about to do). My calves are about 18 1/2", and these would not zip, in a 10W. They are gorgeous boots, and the foot is very comfortable. If your calves are a bit smaller than mine, I highly suggest them. Otherwise, look for the "Ros Hommerson Maryland super wide" online as a similar boot that, unfortunately, Zappos does not carry. I did take them to a cobbler to see if he could make them work, but he was afraid of stretching them, as that could damage the zipper, and would have a difficult time finding elastic wide enough to expand the elastic panel. My calves are very muscular, so the widest part is slightly lower than the widest part. The top of the boot went around my leg fine if I held the sides together.

This is a beautiful boot and the shoe size is accurate. Unfortunately, the top of the shaft flared out at one side and made me look like Robin Hood. Had to return them. I'd like to think this only occurred because I am short (5'). Would have liked to keep them.

These are beautiful boots but they are really wide. I have never had a boot that was too big for my huge calves.

These boots are the highest quality that I have purchased to date. They are very comfortable and sexy too. Finally boots that fit and you do not have to give up fashion.

This boot is cute, but the room-filling chemical smell of the cheap leather literally made me cough and my eyes water. These boots are terribly uncomfortable with only minimal padding in the sole. I'm a daily heel wearer and these boots would be murder on the feet if worn for a long period of time. Sadly, they are going back. Sizing note: the shaft was too big for me. I'm 5'4" with a 17.5" calf and I could put my whole hand in the shaft after it was zipped. A wide shaft (instead of extra wide) would probably have fit better.

Like many who ordered this boot, I have large calves and could never find regular boots that fit. I was so pleased when these babies went zip, right up to my knee with room to spare. I have never had room to spare, and I like it. They look great with tights or skinny jeans - yay! These boots are pretty comfy for the heel height and the black suede looks great. Love these babies!

At last! After ordering 4 different boots online from a department store that claimed their boots were wide calf, I finally find just what I needed. A stylish pair of boots that fit my very thick legs and have a great heel. They cost more than what I wanted to pay, but they're worth it!

I ordered these shoes because I wanted to finally have a pair of boots that went over my calf. I ordered them in a 12w and they were true to size. They are a little big in the calf but that is ok.

These boots are beautiful. Stylish and well made. Too bad they were too big for me. There is a gap that just doesn't look right on me. Too bad I have to return them.
