I have bought Brixton products for years and own several Brood hats. This hat fits like a Brixton large, also consistent with Britton high quality. Coming from a hatsman, (what up, cuz) I recommend this style and Brixton products in general.

This is a great hat with a fantastic, hard to find look. It's a classic all around and I've gotten many compliments while wearing it. Better than a wool baseball cap; most certainly more distinctive. Look know further - this is your new favorite lid!

As always superb service. No fee for shipping or returns is one of the reasons I shop Zappos first. Brixton Brood cap is well made, lining very nice. Giving to my son for Christmas. Saw he had the very same hat on in a different color. Nicely packaged.

Can anyone help me. I want to order but my true size is about 23 inches in a new era hat a 7 3/8 is a little tight and a 7 1/2 is a little too loose. Anyway these are supposedly 22.8 inches for a med and 23 1/2 for a large...just wondering in anyones opinion if these run large or small..or if anyone has an opinion on if I should go for a med or a large. I don't want it to be too tight but I also don't want it so loose it feels like it could just fall off or come off with a small gust of wind. Anyway any help is much appreciated thanks!

I am quite pleased with my Brixton Brood. It seems to be of considerable quality, and I love the way it looks. I ordered a 7 1/4, the size hat I have always worn, and it seems a bit snug. You might consider ordering one size larger if you don't want a snug fit. The hat arrived quickly, as promised. I would definitely order from Zappos again.

This is a great hat. It's very well made, always arrives in pristine condition (properly padded etc.), and looks very sharp on either a female or male wearer. I've ordered this hat from Zappos (in black and in other colors) many times. It's soft, with a subtle, interesting twill texture. The following are in no sense "cons," but you should be aware of them. If you wear the hat unsnapped, as I do, the snap will be very visible. You can color it with a sharpie or the like. Also, the hat of course eventually grows much lighter in the sun, but I've had great luck re-dying it black, including running it through the dryer. This treatment actually restored the hat's original fit; it had stretched slightly over time. Finally, be aware that, although this hat is 100% or nearly 100% cotton, the inner lining is fairly substantial -- it's what allows the nice puffy slightly John Lennon-ish appearance when it's unsnapped. But this means the hat is a bit warmer than its all-cotton status might suggest. Hope this is helpful.

A quality hat by Brixton. It has a very nice lining and it fits and looks great. My first time ordering from Zappos. They have great prices and customer service to match. I will do business with them again.

Quality, including the pleated interior lining, is excellent. Easy to roll up and stuff in a satchel or pocket. Good solid fit and hold.

It ain't a hat, it's a cap! Reminiscent of the Roaring 20s, makes me feel like I'm acting in Boardwalk Empire; or in the '50s, hanging out with Kerouac and The Beats. Fits great, durable, quality garment.

I bought this hat for my roommate and he loves it. He wears it all the time, even in the house! He wears it backwards and frontwards and it looks good both ways. Love it!

My head is not large and so finding a hat/cap that fits well can be challenging. This hat feels like it was tailored to fit me. I have ordered other things from this site; what I like is that they ship out orders fast!

After watching the brilliant British show, Peaky Blinders, I had to get a newsboy hat like the one Tommy and his gang wear. I got the grey/black herringbone in small and it achieves the Peaky Blinders look perfectly. It's well-made and has a snug fit. I definitely recommend this stylish piece.

Nice hat with a bad name (brood what's that all about?). Great colors, good craftsmanship, and no duck butt! Borsalino used to make one like it but you can't find them anymore. Thanks to Brixton and Zappos, they're back!

I tried on a few examples of this type cap, this won the comfort/looks derby by far, I am thinking of getting the black one as well, may run a little big on the sizing.

Honestly, Zappos photographers somehow made this amazing hat look terrible in the product shots. Had I not bought my first one from the Brixton page (which does their hats justice in shots), I would've never bought from here. ^.^ That being said, the Brood in particular is a fine hat. The black one does fade, so I highly recommend some spray on black dye to keep it tip-top. What's amazing about this hat is the particular ways you can shape it. Anyone reading this, please do not settle for the look that comes out of the box. There are many creative opportunities that lay within this hat to really make yours unique. Get some starch and play around with it.

Bought this in gray and black herringbone and brown and black herringbone, both smalls, brown is beautiful! And perfect fit! However gray fits a little floppy but still a beautiful hat.
