I got the red Croco and it's a beautiful finish. I have had them for over a year. I wear them 16 hours at a time for two days in a row on hard hospital tiles. These shoes have literally saved my feet. For a long time, 4 years! I kept thinking I must need a softer shoe because the balls of my feet hurt even when I was not at work. High heels in my personal time were out of the question. My feet felt bruised and my lower legs burned all the time. I bought 2 pairs of shoes 2X per year to try to stop hurting. Very expensive! I tried everything like Nike, Reebok, Merrill, Born, Klogs, Crocs, Alegria, Asics, you name it. When I tried these on in a store, I fit them exactly to my foot, which is wrong. I couldn't believe anyone would wear these! But after I spoke to some ladies at work that wore these, I realized that you need to be able to put your finger in the back of the shoe easily. So, since I normally wear a 9-9.5, the chart recommends a size 39 to 40. But I like thick socks at work so I went up to a 41 which was perfect. My foot is a little on the wide side and there is plenty enough room in the front. The finish and overall condition is still excellent. I wear them outside of work sometimes too because they are just so comfortable! I have a theory about why these work so well, if you don't mind reading it. Think for a second of those workout shoes. They destabilize your gait to make you muscles work harder. I had a pair and your legs really are sore after wearing them. No miracles but you are a little sore. So maybe soft shoes were actually making my legs work harder-causing the burning. These seem to stabilize my stride; to keep my legs and feet in line when I walk. Also the arch is so good I feel like it took some of the pressure off of the balls of my feet. They do not hurt anymore. I'm back in heels when I want to be! These are the most terrific shoes for walking that exist, just get the right size. You should be able to stick your index finger between your heel and the shoe back. There is a little room there but they do stay on your feet very well. They will not fly off. If you stand in one place for long periods of time I don't think these would be good for you. They are expensive, yes, but I am still saving in the long run because I use these exclusively and don't buy 2 pairs twice per year. I'll probably keep these for at least another couple of years and buy another pair of them to switch off with. Great, great shoes! Also, Sanita and Dansko are now separate companies so some people find the fit of Danskos to be a little different. When I read the reviews for the Danskos, I saw that some people had complaints about the quality of the leather-quite a few of them as a matter of fact. I have seen the new ones and I can see what they are taking about. The Sanitas, however, are handcrafted of genuine leather. Worth every single penny.

Beautiful shoe runs small. I have Birenstocks that are a size 39 I couldn't get my foot in the 39 Sanitas. I will try ordering a size larger.

I came to own this shoe because I ordered a black patent Dansko professional in my normal size only to find that it was enormous on me. I then started researching the changes with Dansko since 2008 when their relationship with Sanita ended. I subsequently ordered the next smaller size Dansko, which was too small, and my normal size Sanita which fit exactly like my old Danskos. I don't have a problem with Dansko, they just don't fit me like they used to so I'll stick with Sanita from here on out. Comfy and cute. And thanks Zappos for being the only company to let me order, try, and return for free!!! As someone with a very small foot, your way of doing shoe business is the only way that works for me since no stores carry size 5 anymore.

I purchased my second pair of this shoe. First pair I have worn four days a week for 3 years and they look like new. Used to be a Dansko lover but I think you know the rest of that story! Love these shoes. Love my Zappos!

I purchased this Sanita clog and was so comfortable right out of the box! It fits perfectly, great arch support. Comfortable enough to wear all day, no break in time at all! You will love them. If you are a clog lover like me, Danskos can vary in size quite a bit. Sanitas run pretty true to size. The do run narrower than Dansko clogs! Absolutely love them! Zappos has the most awesome customer service ever! You are my #1 shoe store resource! Thanks Zappos!

These shoes are beautiful and I have had many compliments. They run a little small, so after I wore them 3 times and realized that they would not stretch I called customer service and they sent me a larger size the very next day. I was able to return the ones I wore. No store would do that. I love Zappos!

First pair of clogs and love them. I tried on Sanita and Dansko. Dansko was too large/wide for my feet. I'm a size 6.5. I have a narrow heel but the front of my feet are wider, and I ended up going with the 36 in Sanita. (Tried many pairs of 36 and 37 to find right fit). Plenty of room in the toebox. Well made, love the Croco Bordeaux. Arch support is excellent. I highly recommend!

I get frequent compiments on the look of these shoes. I have been wearing them for a couple of years now and liked them enough to purchase them again when the previous pair wore out.

Sanita Clogs are very comfy. I am very pleased with all of the Sanita Professional clogs. I purchased my first pair last May and now own 5 pair in different colors. I am a nurse and work twelve hour shifts and my feet never feel it! Great choice and several other nurses in my department now own some because of the comfort. They run a tiny bit wide in the toe which is great for comfort and room. I truly love this product; they are also stylish and I always receive compliments! Thanks Zappos!

I ordered the Bordo Croco in size 37 and it fit well. I will probably have the right one stretched a little because it is tight across the top of my foot. It is a cute shoe and very comfortable for running up and down stairs all day.

I have a pair of Dansko backless shoes in black and now find that I do not want to wear a shoe that does not have the wonderful support of Dansko/Sanita shoes. The closed back Dansko shoes are too wide and long for my size 7 foot. I was introduced to the Sanita shoes by a salesperson at The Walking Company. Sanita runs a bit more streamlined than Dansko, which fits my foot much better. I like that this shoe is very wearable with a little pizazz. The Croc patent is not too shiny, but adds some interest. I am also hoping they do not scuff as easily as the non-patent leather. Although, I rated these shoes as fitting true to size, you do need to try on several pair to find the shoes that fit your foot best. I ordered 2 pair of size 37 and 2 pair of size 38. After trying on all of the shoes, I found a pair of 37 that fit my feet very well. There is enough roominess to fit properly, without being overly large, a feeling I do not care for. I would definitely recommend these shoes highly. They are very comfortable, stylish and durable. As for Zappos customer service, they are outstanding. I ordered these shoes late on a Monday evening and received them on Wednesday afternoon. With free shipping both ways, there is no reason not to shop with Zappos. A wonderful company to do business with!

Very pleased.I needed a red pair of shoes to match my red blouse. I initially ordered the Red Marbled size 37. But those came bigger than the usual size 37. I have 7 pairs of Dansko shoes. So, I know exactly what size I wear. The Red Marbled are like the big iron-clad shoes. I returned them and decided to buy the Sanita. When I tried them, I was very pleased. The Sanita fit me perfectly. They are so comfortable that I thought I have worn them for year. Very please. Thanks, Zappos. I've bought many pairs of shoes from you and will buy more

I've been wearing these for 7 months and love them. I spent a lot of money on special shoes and inserts and still had foot pain at the end of the day. With the Sanitas, I don't even think about my feet, even after a 12 hour shift. At first, I didn't think they'd work because the insole felt too hard, but they're great. These clogs actually are the Dansko clog. The companies parted ways around 2007 and Sanita owned the patent, so new Dansko's aren't the original Dansko clog. I went to a store to try on the Sanitas. They said the part that goes over the top of your foot should be snug, as this is what keeps your foot in the shoe. You should be able to slip your pinkie between your heel and the back of the shoe, allowing your heel to move up and down without pressure. I wear a 7 in closed toe shoes, but needed a 38 Sanita and have to wear thick socks. The smaller size is too short and the narrow was too tight across the foot. You just have to try them with different socks and see what works.

I wore Danskos for a year until they fell apart on me and then switched to Sanitas. These shoes are awesome; not only do I love the style, but they are very comfortable and they don't squeak when I wear them. I'm a nurse and I work 12 hour shifts and these keep me feet comfortable throughout the whole day. I wore a 39 in Danskos and went up to a 40 in Sanitas (I'm a size 8.5) for a perfect fit.

Great support, super quality, fun looks. This shoe has fantastic arch support and puts my back in alignment-- no lower back pain. Durable upper and indestructible lower. Well worth it! Love these shoes.

So comfotable, and they look fantastic with jeans or slacks. They are meant to be a little loose around the heel.

Awesome shoe. A little stiff/clompy for long walks but amazing for standing or just around town. Super cute too! And make me look a little taller.

Loved them but I had to return them as they were too small. I normally wear a 10 and size 41 was slightly too small. I\'ll try again at a store instead of online. Luckily Zappos has free returns!

This is the best money I have spent in a long time. I am a cosmetologist and stand on my feet for 8-10+ hour a day. These shoes are so comfortable and I am glad/thankful that I purchased them. I wear a size 6 and it's a true to fit shoe!! My feet have been saved early in my career which means my career has gained YEARS. Great buy!!

I love my Sanitas! I'm a nurse, and am on my feet for roughly 13 hours a day. I initially thought tennis shoes were the way to go, but broke down and bought a pair of Sanita shoes about six months in to see if they made a difference. I honestly don't feel as tired at the end of the day. My back used to bother me a lot at the end of the day, but I have noticed it doesn't anymore. Upon first trying them on, you might feel like they are hard and will be unbearable. After getting used to them, I really can\'t stand to wear anything else to work. They offer a great deal of arch support. I have really no arches, so they have a little too much arch to them to me. The croc pattern is cute and does a little subtle style. Like most facilities, mine has a dress code, and these fit the bill while letting me have a little style. I have received numerous compliments. As far as sizing, I do find they run small. I wear a 7.5, but ended up needing a European 39. Just as the description says, the heel should move up and down freely when you're walking. It should not be tight against your heel. For those worried about them slipping off...I haven't had that problem. I have weak ankles and was worried about turning an ankle. Just be careful when you're getting used to them, and your walking will be straighter and you won't turn your ankles as much. As always, Zappos is wonderful. When first trying to figure out my size, I had to exchange, and the process was painless. Thank you Zappos for your friendly and expedient service!

All I can say is that I love these clogs, the type of work that I am in requires a lot of walking which involves running for either the subway/bus. The are comfortable, and they are neat. I've gotten a lot of stares and inquires as to the brand name and that they look comfortable.
