I had my heart set on Danskos but I am so glad I bought this pair of Sanitas. I wear a 35 in Dansko but they don't make 35s in any stylish or fashionable designs. I found that because Sanitas run a little small, I was able to fit into a 36. I love how comfortable they are and unless I am out in inches of snow, I prefer them to boots as they slip in and out. I find myself doing chores around the house in them because they are so comfortable and the arch support is excellent. I love that it is a basic black shoe that I can wear with anything but the croco design gives it a little bit of style and pizazz.

These are the Sanita Professional Croco in black. They are the perfect fit right out of the box. I have worn them every day since. There is no rubbing no discomfort. I am a size 8 and these are an 8 and they are absolutely true to size. Would buy another pair of exact ones. They fit very well and are very comfortable and wearable. I am very happy with this purchase and can recommend these shoes.

I had requested, and received a pair of Danskos for Xmas. They did not fit so I decided to try Sanita. Following advice from reviews I ordered larger. It has taken several attempts but I have found the right size (same as Danskos for me) in Sanita. Now that I know my size in Sanita I can order more easily. Thank you Zappos for making it easy to find what is right for me. I think I am going to enjoy these shoes -- they look great and are comfortable.

I had initially ordered a pair of Dansko's, but unfortunately the size 36, which I have always worn with Dansko's, was huge and no size 35 or narrow was available. I ordered the Sanita's (now my second pair) and was pleased that they fit true to size, with better support.

I am a long time Dansko wearer - about 20 years. I recently switched to Sanita just to give them a try and I love them just as much, if not more. I believe the quality is better than Dansko.

Love this shoe and all patent croc Sanita's. Have significant foot problems, and this is one of the few shoes I can wear. So much better than Dansko. True to size. I am unable to find consistency in fitting and arch support with Danskos. For whatever reason I find the patent crocs more comfortable than the regular leather. I have so many of the colors and love them all.

These are my second pair of Sanita clogs and I love them. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. My feet never get tired or sore when I wear these clogs. I bought Sanita's because the fit was true to size unlike Dansko's which I found ever pair I tried was a different fit.

I wanted to get a pair of comfortable yet professional/dressy looking shoes, and concluded that Danskos were the way to go. I went to a local store to try them on and was very disappointed when my legs, hips and lower back started hurting immediately and the pain got worse after 2 days. I decided to return them. Then I read all about Sanita and Dansko parting ways back in 2007, so I decided to give Sanita a try. BEST THING EVER! These Sanita shoes are super comfortable (though the first couple of hours there was definitely some adjustment!), I've been wearing them for a week and they keep getting more comfortable. Interestingly enough, I ordered 2 pairs from Zappos, same model same size, but only one of them fit (the other one was too wide), so it is still smart to try several on which is why I ordered 2 at once even though I was only planning on keeping one pair; I was just glad for Zappos' free returns! I've also gotten many compliments about how they look, which is nice.

I bought these shoes to replace a pair of cordovan Danskos I bought over ten years ago and I love them! They are just a bit more flashy and fun but still work well with most colors.

Love the look of this shoe! I'm a size 7 medium and ordered the 38 and the 39 to find the right fit. The 38 is definitely the right size. I'm new to clogs and I'm hoping that these keep my legs and back comfortable like everyone else!

I wear a size 7 medium and ordered a 38. It was the perfect fit right out of the box. I also bought Dansko Professionals in Hickory and Black Oiled - the Black Oiled fit great, but the Hickory was almost a half size or more too big. I really like the Croco Bordeaux; it's interesting, but neutral enough to pair with almost anything.

Great shoes...very comfortable and easy to work in all day long. No squeaking (compared to Dansko I've had) and the finish is very pretty. I get lots of compliments on them. Would highly recommend!

I stay with the croco version because it does not stretch over time. While on my feet 10 hours a day 7 days week for 7-8 months a year, they are my go-to shoe. As a I rarely keep them in full rotation more than a year. The leather versions always stretch too much and become to loose and therefore lose ankle support. What that means is more attention to stairs and uneven surfaces, so if you are planning on using them in a tough environment my recommendation is to struggle with the Croco sizing which tends to be a little snugger for longer but holds its shape better in the long run.

Cute clogs! Really liked the Bordeaux color, but it just didn't wind up working for my needs. Very comfortable under foot, though the length seemed a bit odd on my shorter/narrower foot. It seemed that it was a hair too short, but on the larger foot it was fine. Very odd! I would have tried another pair to see if it was a fluke, but the sole of the shoe was not slip resistant enough for a commercial kitchen. Too bad...really liked them! The 39 fit snugger on my 8.5 N/M foot better than Dansko ever did. I liked Dansko for years, but I like the width of these better and they felt more supportive in the foot bed. Not to mention, they have cuter uppers.

This is a nice looking, dressy shoe that I wear during my 12 hour nursing shift. I get nice compliments on my shoes, and they are fairly comfortable. However, I found the smooth black pair of the same to be more comfortable. I do believe these shoes are more comfortable than Dansko (which tend to run narrow, by the way).

The top part of this is too hard across the arch of my foot and causes pain. The rest is comfortable (heel, toe box, etc.). The bordeaux faux crock started peeling from the top almost immediately. I would not buy them again.

Love them, but can not wear them! Maybe it is because I have a fairly high arch, but they are impossibly tight across my instep. They are MUCH tighter in that area than Dansko.

I bought these for comfort while working long 12 hour shifts on my feet. They are very cute but SO UNCOMFORTABLE. By the end of the day my feet are aching, my toes sore, my heels in agony. They do not breathe well either so my feet felt like they were on fire most the day. I wore them enough to break them in and it made no difference. They are comfortable for about 15 minutes then I immediately regret wearing them. Wish I could return but I bought them over a year ago.

This shoe is absolutely the worst, most painful shoe I have ever had on my foot. First of all, I was told to get a size bigger, but it was way too big...also, I wore it around the house for an hour and I felt as though every single toe was going to break...also, it is very heavy. Do not ever buy this shoe! I am going to write the company to complain.
