Very comfortable - this clog is very much recommended to people who tend to work standing for long hours, such as people in the culinary industry, etc. The heels prevents lower backaches compared to flat clogs and it doesn't make your legs feel sore. The only bad quality of this clog is that the staple wires holding the sole and the top tend to pop up easily. That's why it needs a little extra care when moving around.

I love the stability of the sole and the arch support. I also love the leather, it looks and feels like it will keep its shape and last forever. Still, my little toes felt squished, and I only have a medium-size foot. There was little or no hope to make more room for them unless I took the shoes to a cobbler. I really wanted to keep them - but back they go.

This is the second pair of Sanitas I've ordered and had to return; I wear size 39 in almost every other European shoe, but these feel a full size smaller than marked. I think I'll stick with Danskos, the American counterpart of this brand, since their sizing seems to fit my foot much more accurately.

Many reasons why I replaced my age-old pair w a new pair. These look nice on the feet and unlike many clogs, are attractive and sleek. The sole is much quieter than wooden ones. You can walk in public without sounding like a clog dancer. These also have a slight rise at the inner side, where the arch crests, so you get support. For me, they are endlessly comfortable and are a big step in me casting off preretirement work shoes and going for a simpler life. Highly recommended. Made in Eastern Europe, which for me is a plus. They are not cheap, they are a quality item.

I bought these to replace a similar Dansko shoe. The difference is this shoe has an open back. It runs a little more narrow than the Dansko but the quality is the same. I'll probably go back to Dansko but this is a good shoe.

My Item got shipped free and I received it in three days but the sizes run small. I'm a size 8. I bought a size 38 and didn't fit me so I have to buy a bigger pair now, oh, well.

I wear these at work (a 300-bed hospital; I work mainly in an outpatient setting during the week/inpatient on weekends). They are so worth the money, and very stylish with most scrubs (especially Wink scrubs)! I have plantar fasciitis and flat feet; but after a day in these shoes, I forget that I even have those conditions For the first few times, these shoes may seem a little stiff. That is because the uppers are all leather; so they need to be broken in before wearing them all day to work. You also want to wear these with thin, moisture-wicking socks (HUE makes some excellent ones) because the leather will rub any corns you may have on your feet! These are slight disadvantages that can easily be overcome, though.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I'm a teacher and on my feet most of the day and I wear them almost every day. I couldn't recommend them more.

I normally wear a 39 or 40 in European sizes, but I had to order up to a 42. These were beautiful shoes! But after wearing them for a few months, my back & knee issues got worse & my feet eventually protested so loudly that I was no longer able to wear them. Not sure if it is just my feet (I have flat, wide feet & plantar fasciitis) or if it is the shoe. Beautiful shoe! Wish it was meant to be, but not for me.

These are my second pair of Danita clogs. Needed a "goes with everything, can wear socks" shoe for 8-10 hour days in salon. Sanita's do not disappoint. My only complaint would be the top/inside of clog is coarse against my feet, even with socks. I think they will break-in and this will go away since I have no issues with original clogs. Quality is excellent. The Cordivan color is beautiful and I can wear with all my dark trousers. All-day comfort and style!

I just bought a pair of Sanita Sonja Black Clogs. They are a week old. Today the left inner back heel crumbled off and the back of the shoe above the heel split. I am completely shocked and will try to contact Sanita directly.

The Bordeaux color is nothing like pictured. It is like dark brown with spots of orange spilled on it. "Bordeaux" would suggest a dark burgundy type color, as pictured

The soles of these clogs completely disintegrated and crumbled . The leather tops looked like new as I only wore them about half the year. Do not buy !

For those with a high instep, this clog will make you feel like Cinderella's step sister! I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe in order to determine the right fit. Big disappointment :( as I continue to struggle finding stylish, yet supportive shoes for long work hours in which I stand.

Very comfortable but the left heel broke off after wearing for 2 hours. This is a definite return.

I ordered a larger size than I previously had based on other Zappos users commenting that Sanita had changed their sizing. For me, the size 40 (which says it fits 8.5-9) is too big, and I normally wear 8.5 in other brands. I think I would need a 38 or 39 to fit properly (I wear clogs without socks). I love this brand and hope to find the Sonja in my size.

Just what the doctor ordered! These aging feet require a more firm shoe for support. A friend recommended I try these to use around the house and I am sold! Happy feet are here to stay! They are also pretty stylish and give me a little extra height. All is well!

Super comfortable. I have very flat feet and these have great support, look great, I wear them as my dress shoes!

Love the fit, the style and color but wish it came in a matt finish. Wid=sj=h the made more finishes in Bordeaux. LOVE that color!

Perfect original style backless clog …Ive had several of the Sanita seems better than Dansko in this style by far …

I exchanged these for the next size up. They’re super comfortable with good arch support. Room in the toes and doesn’t feel like it will fall off your feet. It has a good balance in every sense, don’t roll ankles like in some Dansko, no toes grabbing to hold on, the weight is light enough for long walk. Liked the comfort so much I bought the pair with the back as well. Yes had to size those up too.

My feet love these! I wear an 8 1/2 to 9, slightly wide, and the size 40 fit perfectly with both a medium weight sock and barefooted. Very soft glove-like fit over the top of the foot. The footbed has just the right amount of give--between cushioning and supportive. Plus they are beautifully made (in Poland). The bordeaux color is gorgeous, with a pretty distribution of dark to light shades. I tried several pairs of cute Josef Seibel's and must say they were hurting the front of my toes as they hit the inside of the toe-box. Had to return them all. To Zappo's credit, two hours after I dropped these off at the local Postal Annex, I was issued a refund confirmation! Zappo's has spoiled me, and I'll never shop anywhere else!
