After trying Dansko, Josef Siebel and now Sanita, I find that the Sanita fit most true to size. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe, and the 39 in the Sanita fits just right, whereas the Dansko was too big in the 39, but too small in the 38. I love buying shoes from Zappos. The shipping time is unbelievable- I ordered on a Saturday night, and got the clogs on Monday!

This is my second pair of Sanita clogs. I bought the Professional first. These are so much more comfortable than the Professional. The soles are different and have more give than the Professional. Great fit and beautiful. I wore them for the first time for 8 hours while teaching and feel great. I highly recommend these.

I was trying to find a replacement for some Bass clogs that are no longer available. Those were size 10 medium, and fit my wide feet beautifully, and the comfort was amazing. I used Zappos to try on a several sizes of Sanita Sonja Bordo Cabrio, and the same look in the Dansko, as well as some oiled ones. Settled on the Sanita Sonja Cabrio. (Thanks to free shipping both ways! & terrific customer service.) The US to European sizing is confusing, as my US size was listed for two European sizes! I ended up ordering 'up' to get my wide feet in comfortably (both of the suggested sizes were too small or too tight). The Sanitas run a bit wider than the Dansko. So far they feel great! I walked three blocks from car to theater tonight in the snow flurry covered sidewalks, and my feet were warm, due to the cushy thick sole, and being able to put on a pair of warm socks! And my feet didn't even have a hint of hurting! The heel height is great for all those pants that run too long, without having to have your foot in a 'high heels' position. These are great looking with slacks, as well as jeans. I've seen others pull off the look with shorts, but with my body type I'd never think of that outside my own home! The Cabrio style is polishable, so they can stay looking good. The finish holds up pretty well, I haven't had to polish them yet, and I've had them for a few weeks. The Bordo color works with any color of pants. Using my Bass clogs as a rating of 5 in comfort, I must say these aren't quite as comfy, but they're a close second. I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for a comfortable but still nice looking pair of slacks and/or jeans shoes.

I had a pair of Dansko that lasted 10+ years of constant wear. After reading reviews decided to buy The same shoe but Sanitas. On the 4th day I wore them the sole broke in half! And hour later the other shoe's rubber sole split too and one of the staples was popping out! I don't know if they had a bad batch of rubber during manufacture... Sadly I bought these for my 3 week trip through Europe as they are the most comfy shoe I've ever owned. And in my 4th day they broke! It was kinda cool looking at how the rubber just split straight through...they are now a foldable shoe.

I’ve been looking for specifically BLACK clogs. Though this style is both true-to-size and very well made, I realized when they arrived that though NOT "patent leather", were still a bit too "shiny". Also, these look "VERY cloggy" with a somewhat hard, raised toe such as the original Dutch clogs. For these reasons I realized that I wanted something less formal looking. Which is why it’s GREAT to have Zappos’ free return policy. Gonna look some more now that I realize what I want.

Love these clogs! Originally a Dansko gal, I ordered these Sanitas in the color I wished to find at Dansko. I have had them for one week, and have worn nothing else! My heels and the balls of my feet feel wonderful! No shin pains, or heel pains or toe box issues! I am in love! I just might (I repeat, might) try to wear them with some of my capris? As always, Zappos delivery is superior! I buy shoes nowhere else!

I really like the sanita shoes because there sizing fits me best. They are also extremely good for my back problems.

These are fantastic shoes. I have a huge shoe collection, however, since getting these Sanita clogs, I have worn them everyday for work and weekends! As a teacher, I am on my feet and moving all day.

Sanita clogs are actually my always shoe. I will always own a pair or two. However, I am upset because I just ordered these and the insole is now made with a porous leather instead of smooth, shiny leather. The problem with this is that it makes it very uncomfortable to wear socks with the clogs. The lining pulls on the socks. I wear these shoes throughout the winter, so I need to be able to wear them with socks. I will not buy another pair until Sanita starts using the shiny, smooth leather lining again. By the way, Sanita used to make the clogs for Dansko. If you want the old classic fit, buy Sanitas. I tried Danskos recently and they did not feel right, and I think the toe turns up a bit too much creating an elf effect.

This shoe's leather is soft and flexible and a true fit in length. But the shoe after wearing for a couple weeks has widened a great deal and I tend to slide out of it. I purchased it to compare with the Dansko shoe exactly like this and the leather on the Dansko seems more solid, although this shoe, Sanita, may be a better made shoe. I've worn Danksos (the clogs for years).

I absolutely love these and wonder how my feet have survived without them for this long. Great for people who spend long hours on their feet.

I ordered this and seven other similar styles in different brands. This one fit the best for width as marked (I have a wide foot and ordered wides when available). Some of the others marked wide were not quite wide enough at the top part of my foot (the part before the toes). So, even this shoe did have a tiny bit of chafing in that area the first day I wore it, but then I found some clog socks in my drawer, and now they are perfect! I think that the problem overall with these shoes is that I may not be a size 8.5W anymore. I haven't really shopped for many different types/styles of shoes besides my size 40 Birks since I've had kids; so maybe now after 3 pregnancies, I am really just a 9W or 8.5WW. Oh, well. I love the look of these shoes. I usually LIVE in Birkenstocks, but needed something more professional to work in (I teach). I really wanted something as comfortable as possible, and I love the toe space that clogs offer. My only disappointment was that the style wasn't available in black when I ordered it. The bordo color I ordered is BEAUTIFUL and I love it, but I wanted black because it would coordinate best with most of my work wardrobe.

As always, Sanita comes through with a consistently comfortable clog. Took them forever to come out with one in navy, but it was worth waiting for.

These are comfortable from the time you put them on, yet they give you plenty of support. They aren't quite as stiff as Dansko's. Plus, they are good-looking!

True to fit and light weight. Excellent arch support and as always...superior customer service!

Fast delivery. Wore these Sanita shoes the following day 7 hours on my feet the whole time. I was impressed, my feet and legs didn't feel tired.

These clogs felt like slippers the first time I put them on. I actually wore them for 12 hours the first time I wore them out; mostly standing the whole day, and my feet never felt tired. I wore them today for 10 hours and my feet feel like a million bucks. If you have to stand, walk and stand some more, these shoes are the best. Sanita's are the original clogs I had 15 years ago, these are exactly how I remember them. I will never buy another pair of the "other ones" again. They can't even compare. If I were you, I would at least try them; you can always send them back! I doubt you will!

I bought a pair of Dansko closed shoes a few years ago, after my knee trouble started. I found these were absolutely the best shoes for this condition. After researching the Sanita / Dansko issue, I ordered this pair of clogs. In the best Zappos tradition, my shoes were delivered the next business day. I was amazed at how perfectly they fit, and how comfortable they were right out of the box. I was surprised because they are visually much smaller than my Danskos. I had mistakenly ordered a size 40 (my closed shoes are a size 41), but they fit perfectly, nonetheless. I'm a happy camper, and plan to buy additional pairs of this style as finances permit.

I did a little research on this Brand and decided to purchase them and boy the fit is amazing! True to size, too. If you wear an in between size, order the next size up. I bought this shoe on sale, but I now am willing to pay full price for a design I like more.

I love my Sonja Cabrio clogs! I\'m on the go as an elementary school teacher, and rarely take a break. My clogs look great with jeans or slacks, and are super comfortable, even at the end of a long day.

I have back issues and have to wear supportive shoes. I found these on Zappos and they are the best shoes I have ever owned. Since wearing them I haven not the pain in my back each day after work. Zappos is also the best company to order from, they shippped my shoes to me in less than 24 hours and their return rate is awesome!

Great shoe and color to wear with blue scrubs toe area a little tighter than my previous Danskos.
