Tried this shoe after a friend said his bad knee gave him no pain while running in them. I need very cushioned shoes due to foot pain - just aging feet. Wore them around the house for a week, didn't like the pressure I felt near my arch. Decided I had worn them so much, I'd have to keep them anyway. But when I actually went for a real walk, the comfort suddenly clicked in! Now I love them. They give a spring to my step, no achy feet, and I can feel leg and buttock muscles being worked. I now wear them to work, which involves a lot of standing. I ordered my usual size, and they fit fine. Not crazy about how they look on my big foot, but the comfort more than makes up for that!

Bought this shoe thinking it would help foot pain. I stand in front of a computer 10 hours a day. Although it is very comfortable it really didn't help my foot pain but it must have changed my posture because it helped my back pain. When this pair wears out I will be buying another pair.

Had Ryka's reform and wanted to try this brand's style. It is more pronounced rocking motion and a really good work out. I only wear it to walk as I feel if you wear it all the time, your body will get used to it and you will not get as much benefit exercising. But that is just my take on it.

These shoes are awesome! They are the most comfortable shoes I own. I actually feel as though I have wings on my feet, as I effortlessly glide through my walking routine. Not sure whether there is scientific evidence that it actually shapes your body; however, when walking uphill I can definitely feel the stretch in my hammies and glutes. Definitely order 1/2 size larger (as you should for any workout shoe). For the fashion-minded, the white/silver fitness junkie model is also a really great looking shoe. Heartily recommend!

Wonderful service from Zappos! They have earned a customer for life! Great shoes-very comfortable and can really feel the burn when walking. I know some people have said they run half a size small, but I had no issues with this shoe. I typically wear an 8 and that is what I ordered. It may be a tad bit wider than I am used to, but not so much that I would need to order another size.

I love these shoes! Took a short time to get used to them and now I can't wear regular tennis shoes without my feet & back hurting. My Podiatrist recommended these after I had screws inserted in my foot. They really are comfortable!

I LOVE my Skechers Shape Ups! I will say, it is very DIFFERENT way of walking than you normally do, and takes some time (for me at least a few days) walking around in them to get used to "rolling your foot" as you walk. It's a lot like walking on sand barefoot. There is no lateral support, this forces you think about and change the way you walk. My feet and calves were sore the first day, butt and legs sore after a longer walk. Spend small amount of time walking in them and gradually increase, follow the directions and watch video too, this helps! Stay on smooth flat surfaces; these are NOT for trail or off road use. I have flat feet and this is the 1st shoe that I do not use my orthotics.

This is the first pair of fitness shoes that I ever purchased that fit very comfortably first time out of the box. They do run small, so I ended up buying a size larger. As for the therapeutic value, after two days of walking three miles each day, I feel the described effect on my legs and posture. Carolyn.

When these shoes first came out, I was very interested in the concept. I buy my Skechers from Zappos because of the awesome customer service and super fast shipping, so naturally I ordered them. When I first put them on, I could not believe how comfortable they were! I have problems with my right knee/leg from a car accident and these shoes are the only ones I can wear and actually walk for long periods of time. I get asked on a frequent basis if they work & where I got them. They really do work your calves, thighs, buns & even abs and your posture is greatly improved. They fit true to size and actually make my feet look smaller! I can't say enough great things about them! I want at least 3 more sneaker styles and some sandals for summer. I always tell people who ask to go to Zappos.com to get them, there is a huge selection and you cannot beat the prices and the lightning fast shipping! Thanks Zappos, you have a customer for life!

I love my Skechers Shape Ups. I do recommended trying them out in a store before ordering from Zappos. So many people seem to have sizing issues. I wear between a 7-7.5 and I found the 7.5 to be perfect. At first when I put it on, my toe seemed near the end. However, once I laced it up, it was great. The salesperson told me that, although I'd want enough room, I would not want them to be big or sliding at all. The 8's were good, but probably would have stretched. They are extremely comfortable and working through Zappos is great. I may buy another pair of the lower profile stabilizers after awhile!

These are actually comfortable shoes! They take a couple of minutes to get used to the feeling of being a little elevated - and you are rocking - but it's fine and kinda fun! After wearing them for a few hours, I could feel where the muscles in my legs had been worked. I am looking forward to warmer weather and wearing these shoes outside for a good long walk.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable. Be sure to buy shoes a half size larger. I don't normally wear tennis shoes, but these have such great shock absorption that I wear them all the time. I am considering buying another pair to wear to work.

I'm a 9.5, bought a 10, they fit nicely with room in the toe. Love wearing these, they feel like you're trudging thru the mud, which lets me know they’re doing their job. GREAT SHOES!

Zappos you’re great!!! I bought these shoes and let me tell you they are great!!! I wear a size 7 1/2 - 8 I went with the 8 because I wear running socks with my Skechers, they feel great!!! I can feel the burn all the way up my legs and butt. You do have to walk at least 3 miles per hour to get at least some kind of workout… if you’re just walking slow, then don’t expect to get anything out of it. You have to put in some effort to get the full effects...

True to size shoe. I had a lot of foot pain that has been elimiated with the rockerbottom sole. I love zappos for the free shipping and returns and the great customer service.

I love these shoes! It's like a workout and you don't even realize it! They are comfy. I feel that for my skinny size 7 foot, they were true to size, though I've heard to go 1/2 size up at times. Since I have to tie mine pretty tight due to my skinny foot, these shoes fit me fine! It's like walking on cotton ball puffs! And, as usual, Zappos had them at my door right away with their great return policy if I needed it--which I did not. I got the blue ones, but I also like the pink. These shoes came with an extra pair of shoelaces and a DVD! Go Zappos!

Saw an ad for these shoes on TV and thought it would be a good Christmas present for my sister. Bought her and myself a pair, and I haven’t taken them off since. I have plantar fasciitis and other foot problems and these shoes are soft and flexible which seems to help relieve some of my pain. My other sister bought a pair after Christmas when she saw how much both of us liked our shoes.

I like these shoes! They look great and feel good on my feet. After reading some of the reviews, I did buy a 1/2 size larger shoe than I normally would have done...and would not do that in the future. It seems to run fairly close to what I would expect.

As always Zappos is the BEST site to work with!! I got the shoes the next day and they fit great! A little different to walk in but are EASY on the knees! I did get the half size larger. I am enjoying them very much and a friend saw them and also sent for a pair from Zappos. My husband even got a pair and loves to walk in them. THANK YOU ZAPPOS.
