I searched may websites for these because I need to replace an older pair of Acorn Shearling slippers. I was hoping these would be of the same quality and offer good ARCH SUPPORT as my old pair. While these looked like they would fit the bill, when they arrived and I slipped them on in excitement, I was quickly disappointed that the insole (while shearling covered) was foam-based and compressed from my weight, offering NO SUPPORT. (I'm 5'7' and weigh 132, so it's not my weight that is the problem.) I tried a couple steps on the rug and because there was no distinct arch, my foot slid forward inside the slipper and toes were cramped against the front. (I can imagine wearing through the front in no time with the pressure.) Even while standing still, the back of the slipper feels short and barely goes past my heel. It's not a size thing, it's a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FIT than my AMAZING, OLD Acorn Slippers and just seems like they changed the source of the footbeds and footbed shape. Acorn USED TO BE my go-to for quality and SUPPORT. I've owned several pairs and gifted them as well. But sadly I'm on the search for something else. (I don't understand WHY it's so hard to find a plush REAL shearling slipper with ARCH SUPPORT???? The last thing tired feet need at the end of the day is no support.) Also: I'd read the reviews about the top coming up the foot too high and I see now what they mean; because the back of the slipper feels short, AND there's no arch dictating where the foot should 'sit' inside the slipper, your foot slides further into the front of the slipper and the top comes closer to the ankle that past styles. I don't want my foot sliding around and smashed up against the front. I really want a great arch support, covered in shearling and for my foot to stay in place because the footbed is well shaped and the arch is distinct and in the correct place. The slipper does look plush and is real shearling. If you want a padded slipper with no support and don't mind your foot sliding deeper into the slipper, this one might work for you. Me, I'll keep shopping... THANK YOU Zappos for making it so easy to return - it was worth taking a shot, but FRUSTRATING that Acorn has such a crappy fit now. (Zappos, Re: Size feedback, I wish there was an option for "Poor fit" because these are not larger or smaller, just have a poor fit.)

Within a few months the seam started to separate allowing all kinds of debris and crumbs from the floor get inside the shoe in the wool lining. Its hard to remove and now I loath wearing the shoes.

Sadly, this slipper will have to be returned. The fit was great, wonderful support; however, the chemical SMELL WAS OVERWHELMING! I put them outside for SEVERAL DAYS thinking they would lose the odor with a little fresh air. The odor is still so strong and pungent you can smell them from about five feet away! Other than wearing a HAZMAT Chemical Mask, I don't see any solution to the smell issue. They're going back!

I have been buying these slippers for years. They are so comfy and keep my feet warm in the winter. I actually wear them in summer too. I highly recommend these slippers. They are good for wearing outside as well.

Love these boots! Got them for work, was required to have steal or composite toe shoes. At first the inside fold at the ankle really poked and was painful but all I had to do was not lace them up as tight and now they're perfect, no problems at all. I wear them a lot for working outside chain sawing and clearing land.

These slippers are awesome. This is my second pair. They fit great and keep my feet warm.

This is my third pair of Acorn Ewe Collar sheepskin slippers. I've worn the others out! These are toasty warm, with nice, thick sheepskin under the foot as well as on top and at the back of the slipper. Easy to slip on and walk in. I use only inside so cannot say whether these are good for outdoors. Highly recommended!

Excellent slipper. Warm and comfortable, with a very nice arch support. I would definitely recommend them! They will definitely keep my toes warm this winter!

So soft and warm. Great in the house and with the hard soles, it's easy to run quickly outside even in the coldest weather. Love!!!

These are my absolute favorite slippers. They fit perfect and they are so soft under my feet. I like how they keep my feet warm, and the open heel lets my feet breathe. I wear these everyday in the house year round. Luv luv luv these slippers.

I tried on 6 pairs of mules and slides. These by far offered the most cush and cozy comfort of the ones I tried. Love these!

I am very happy with these Acorn slippers! They fit snugly just the way I like. Nice and warm shearling fleece inside. Look and feel great! But that's not all. The first delivery was not the slipper I ordered but I started a chat and the very nice agent, Camaria, sent me a return label to print on my printer AND submitted an order for the one I wanted. And it was delivered in a very timely manner. Zappos you have a very happy customer! I'll be back!

I previously had Acorn EWE ll slippers. They initially fit well, however, without too much time they stretched out. This time I ordered one size smaller for Acorn EWE slippers and think over the years I shall be happier.

I love them. I’ve been wearing Acorn (summer) slippers for years,so I wanted to get a pair for the colder months. They fit a little snug which is good because I’ve heard they will stretch out over time. They are very comfortable with plenty of wiggle room for the toes.
