In years past I have bought Old Friend sheepskin slippers but found them to be wearing down quicker so I ordered these ones from Acorn. The sheepskin felt much softer than Old Friend but unfortunately they were too narrow. I could feel the seems of the slipper on the side of my foot. Granted my feet are borderline wide so if you have narrow feet they'd probably be just right.

These hurt my feet, between trying to fight the fleece to keep my feet in them, and the sole on them, I ended up with painful feet. I prefer a slipper with a back to it and also your heel ends up cold. I am going to try another style.

Very good looking slipper, nice color suede, of good quality and make, but fits too snuggly for me (usual size 9). I can't wear even thin socks with them. However, a larger size would be too loose, and make the fit more bulky. They are already a little awkward to walk in especially across carpet.

This is the second pair I’ve purchased. While I love the fit, warmth and comfort, I’ve found that the fluff on the inside wears away very quickly from normal walking around (bald spots where your foot print would be). I’ve worn Uggs for years and the inside fur is still perfect. These Acorn brand last from fall to early spring then I toss them. If they weren’t so comfy on my very narrow feet, I’d pass. Too costly to only last through basically one winter.

I got these slippers for Christmas… love the fit, comfort and style! However, the inner sole is already falling apart! The shearling in the left slipper is pulling away and the sole insert moves and curled up inside when being worn!!!
I’m hoping it’s a flaw in this pair alone!

This was a strange slipper. Much too long from toe to to of foot/ankle. As if it were a men's shoe. Very uncomfortable at the ankle. Back it goes.

I bought a pair of these back in 2015 and WOW! They were probably the most wonderful things I have ever worn on my feet. I absolutely loved them and they were perfect from the minute I first put them on. The support was good, and that never diminished, but all the fleece footbed eventually wore off and I decided to order a new pair last year. The new pair was cut completely different and was terrible. It went up too close to the ankle and was way too tight across the top. I miss the slippers so much that I'm tempted to try and order again, but not sure I want to bother. I have tried probably 5 or 6 other slippers since then (different brands) and I haven't liked any of them. I miss those amazing 2015 slippers so much! Wish I had bought a second pair back then. Ugh.... :(

I had high hopes for these slippers after reading the reviews. I have worn Uggs and Old Friend slippers for years but the liners never lasted. My instep is normal but these were tight and after 7 days, have not stretched out enough to be comfortable. I'm sorry I didn't return them right away. I was hoping I would break them in and they would fit as I expected. Going back to Old Friend slippers. Wasted my $$$

Normally I never have this problem but returning due to poor workmanship on the slipper. These are the best slippers I've ever had. Only second pair in 10 years and I wear them year round. The Sherpa keeps feet warm in winter and not too hot in summer. I normally wear a 9.5 but ordered 9 because i don't plan to wear socks. These will stretch over time so if they feel snug at first the Sherpa will matte down. I vaccuum inside to plump it back up. I occasionally will wear these outside in dry weather only.

Ordered my usual slipper size and it was way too big. Returned for next size down and still felt 1/2 size too big. Though I do not have high arches, I did not like where the top of the slipper hit my foot. Felt uncomfortable. Shame as the interior was so cozy! I also decided I wanted a house shoe that had more support, such as Birkenstock or Haflinger.

Good quality slipper, but the sole had an odd shape that makes the heel and toe point downward. When walking in the slipper, I feel very flat-footed and unable to walk with a normal gait. Thanks to Zappos, I can return these!

I've had many pairs of the Acorn Ewe Collar and was very disappointed when I tried on this pair. The instep is an inch or more higher than it used to be which makes it rub on my foot. The quality is the same but the change in the design makes the slipper unwearable for me. Definitely not an improvement on a product that was a winner.

These slippers are one of the favorite things I own. I wear dress shoes all day so it's wonderful to slip these on at the end of the day. I ordered a replacement but the footbed isn't attached to the shoe and I can feel my foot falling off the edge inside the shoe. I ordered them from another reseller and will be returning them. I'm back to wearing my wonderful old pair. The old ones have the footbed attached to the inside of the shoe. I hope Acorn goes back to that design.

I have purchased Acorn Ewe Collar slippers previously and liked them very much. This pair is a big disappointment. I have used them for only 2 months, and there are big bare patches on the insole at the heel where there used to be fleece. When you are paying so much money for slippers, you should be able to expect that they will remain intact, assuming normal use. Also, although they were wonderfully comfortable when first worn, they are now too roomy. They feel at least a full size larger than they did originally. That may be a result of all of the missing fleece. Do not purchase these unless you don't mind getting another pair every 2 months.

These slippers are comfortable, warm and supportive. BUT- in the coal color the dye rubs off on your feet. Took me a couple days to figure out why I had grey toes! Will reorder the walnut sheepskin that has natural colored fleece inside and hope that solves the problem.
