Perfect fit, good arch support, have several pair and wear them most days. Highly recommend. Extremely comfortable.

This is great casual footwear. I'm on my feet a lot in a manufacturing setting, walking on concrete shop floors etc. Very comfortable, great support and rugged enough for everyday wear. Nice enough for casual office wear as well.

I have purchased three pairs of these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and, I think, good looking. The tops tend to wear out before the bottoms. Some seams eventually give out.

I just bought this pair of New Balance after returning a pair from another manufacturer that did not fit well. This pair fits to my size perfectly and they are very comfortable for my hiking in uneven ground including dirt and rocks up fairly steep hills with no slippage at all. They are very well designed also because the designer has good color sense in keeping the shoes from being over designed, like most other shoes these days. Great job!

These are a tad snug in length, but I assume that they will stretch a bit. Despite that they are by far the most comfortable walking shoes that I have ever had, even beating out Rockport. As for the color, several other reviewers described the brown as olive, so based on that I ordered Rockport Trekking quarter socks in olive. That was a big mistake! Compared to those socks, these are brown, period.

My husband was very satisfied with the fit and comfort of this shoe. It felt good from day one and did not need breaking in.

I've had these shoes now for about a month and have found them to be great shoes. These were a replacement for a pair of 747s that were the most comfortable shoe I had ever worn. So far, these are just as comfortable. I ordered these true to my regular size and for me they were perfect. They do expand slightly after wearing them for a few days. The color is definitely more olive than the picture shows on Amazon, but I like the color and think they look nice. I would recommend these shoes.

These are the most comfortable shoes my husband has ever worn, and he is on his feet for much of the day, 5 days per week. Also, Zappos has wonderful service!

Love the shoes! Fit perfectly right out of the box. Didn't need a break in period. Thinking of getting another pair to switch off day to day with.

After walking around the house for about two hours in my just-out-the box NB 780's I have come to the conclusions that these may be some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned...so far, so good. We'll see how they do after a couple of laps around the lake by my house. My only complaint (doesn't really matter) is the color is more of a muddy olive brown than the orange suede color depicted on the website. Is there a difference in leather from China made shoes from those made in Indonesia (Vietnam?). Mine (Size 13 2E) were made in Indonesia. Just curious...This was my first experience with Zappos and it won't be the last. Good job!

This and its predecessor are shoe of choice for hiking around the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as backpacking (semi-ultralight) in the Sierra. Comfortable (4E), easy to break in--and the nondescript color suits me.

Very comfortable and well made. Feels a little narrow width wise so if you have wide feet they might be tight. Otherwise really great. I wear them often.

I was skeptical of buying shoes without trying them on, but my shoes are great! It was super easy, and I got them in my actual size, not just the best I could find. I will definitely be a return customer, and tell my friends.

New Balance is one of the few brands that make a really wide shoe especially in the smaller sizes. The width was perfect but the length runs small as he usually wears a 7 1/2 or 8 and he had to go to an 8 1/2 in this one. Since he works long hours he really needs the support and cushion that New Balance shoes give. It has even alleviated his knee pain. He is very happy with this shoe.

Great shoe that I purchased for a relative. He loves the shoe. He said it is very comfortable and and it is true to size.

I faulted one thing of this shoe, it is the color. When it had been delivered I found a different color. Actually, it's not brown like Zappos' viewing, it's between an olive color and a brown color. But I'm honest, the current color is nice I didn't feel disappointed it. And all things about this shoe are great and comfortable except one thing. I feel that shoe have a little extra size I ordered 13 inch but it's like there 0.5 inch more. So, discern this shoe's sizes and I think the collar (the part which borders on the shoe hole) is thick a little bit.

Shoes are great, but I have 2 points to make: 1) Size runs small as I normally wear 11 but needed 12 to fit. 2) Get shoes treated as a small food stain was very hard to remove.

Great shoe. Light, flexible and comfortable but runs small. The top edge of the shoe, around the ankle, seems a little over padded. I\'m hoping that the foam padding will collapse a bit. \r\n It took a couple of tries to get the right size and I tried two other styles before I got what worked for me. Zappos stayed right with me even though I was getting kind of embarrassed with returning my selections. Zappos was great. They even gave me a VIP membership and I literally had my selection overnight. Returns were very easy. Great shoe. Great Zappos experience.

The reviews I read before I purchased these shoes were very helpful. The recommendation to buy the shoes 1/2 size larger saved me from having to send them back. This is the first time I was able to buy shoes via on-line and I did not have to send them back. I have been wearing them for about 3 weeks and they are the most comfortable sneaker I own. I have extra wide feet and Zappos offered EEEE size. Thank you.

Runs 1/2 size smaller than previous New Balance country walkers I have owned. This makes them a full size smaller than street shoes. Comfort and support are excellent, as expected from New Balance.

I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are, they have excellent cushioning in both the front and back of the shoe. I feel like I could walk around all day and not have my feet sore at all.

These have become my favorite shoes for casual wear. My previous favorites were a worn-out pair of New Balance MW748 shoes, and these were the closest available replacements. I needed to exchange them for a half-size larger, but Zappos' exchange policy made that pretty painless.
