Review Text: I usually like the brand, but I'm really concerned by this pair. There is, what I guess is an elastic piece, on each side of the laces. After less than 4 weeks of ownership and wearing these roughly two times per week, the leather is tearing away from the elastic and will likely get worse unless I have them repaired. Interestingly, it is happening on both shoes - and its on the same side on both (so its inner side on one and outer side on the other). Very disappointing after wearing them just a handful of times.

The shoes are very comfortable, unfortunately, the laces are low quality. I bought this product in November and now it is June and the laces are shot.

These shoes were amazing the first 6 months, but quickly wore out. The soles are very, along with the upper leather. These are my first pair of J&M shoes and my last pair.

Compared to other J&M moc toe shoes in wide fitment that I have owned, this one is narrower in the toe box--to the point of needing to order a half to full size larger.

This shoe looks nice and is fairly comfortable, but very disappointed in the quality. The leather exterior scrapes off if you brush the shoe up against something like the sidewalk or if someone stepped on your foot. When it peeled off, I could see the "leather" was paper thin! Certainly would not recommend this shoe.

Very comfy, but quickly destroyed. Soft leather prone to scuffs and tears. Soles are in great shape but I will have to retire these bc the uppers look shabby, after less than a year later of indoor wear.
