Great shoes, but not extremely durable. I bought a pair to wear to work on a daily basis (I switch them out with another pair once or twice during the week). These are probably the most comfortable shoes that I've ever worn. After a year and a half of regular wear, however, they're starting to show their age. I expected them to be a bit more durable, considering the price. I'd probably buy another pair, though.

Surprisingly comfortable. Clean lines and an insane insole make this great for daily wear. I hadn't tried J&M in years and these were a pleasant surprise at a low price point. Beats the heck out of a stiff pair of AE's.

Bought these for my husband and it\'s his favorite shoe. He has flat feet and is not an easy fit. Comfortable, stylish, fits true to size. My 18 yr. old son liked them so much, we had to get him his own pair!

Very comfortable from day one. The size seems to run a bit big though. I usually wear a 10. In this shoe I wear a 9.5 and they still seem slightly big. But overall very comfy shoe. FYI, these shoes will pass through metal detector.

Purchased these shoes about 4 months ago, and I have no regrets. They\'re probably the most comfortable pair of shoes that I\'ve ever owned, and they look good. They\'ve held up very well to daily use thus far, and they still look good. I\'d definitely buy them again.

I am very disappointed in these shoes. I purchased them less than two months ago and have already had to take them into a shoe repair shop. The dye used does not penetrate deeply into the shoes. If anything touches your foot, it will leave a scuff that requires polish. I shared an elevator with my boss yesterday, he saw my feet and said, "Ha! I think it is time for a new pair of shoes." That is unacceptable for a two month old pair that has been professionally shined and worked on to remove scuffs. Look elsewhere. Will not purchase Johnston & Murphy moving forward.

I bought these for my husband at Zappos because I can't get him to the store! And he loves these shoes. He says they are the most comfortable dress shoes ever. And he has worn a lot. I was trying to buy a different brand, but got these, and are we ever glad! He has flat feet, wide in places, and is hard to fit. These are so comfortable to his foot. Highly recommend!

I work in retail and wanted nice looking shoes that were also comfortable and supportive on concrete. These shoes fit the bill. I have worn Johnston & Murphy shoes before so I knew what I was getting. They have good support and are made from quality materials.

Very comfortable and they look great. Perfect with dress pants and a dress shirt or to class up jeans and a sport coat.

J&M makes great shoes and these are no different. Nice color, extremely comfortable right out of the box, good style and they have held up very well. Perfect for business casual.

I bought these for my husband who complains about dress shoes all the time. He tried them on and raved about how good they felt on his feet. No complaints, no breaking in, just comfort!

These shoes have a very comfortable inner sole for walking and standing.I have a wide foot and had ordered the EE and it was to wide so I returned them and got the M width which was perfect.

Excellent shoes. If you are looking for a comfortable true to size dress shoe, then look no further. This is my second pair of Johnston and Murphy and I'm very pleased with both purchases.

The shoes are very attractive and I plan to get lots of use out of them. I am an attorney and I plan to wear these shoes to court.

I purchased this J&M along with 2 other "dress-ier" shoes to find an every day option for a new office job. Although it was the most expensive of the 3, the fit, comfort and style was light years above the others. I returned the other 2 shoes and purchased 2 more J&M shoes, with similar results. I have large, wide feet (14EE) and these fit perfectly. The cushioning is very comfortable and I can wear these all day without that worn-out feet feeling. I've owned them for 3 months and haven't noticed the issues other reviewers have (dye issues, wearing out). However, I only wear these in the office. If you're looking for a comfortable, every day shoe for a professional environment, then look no further.

I've had good experiences with Johnston & Murphy shoes, before. These shoes didn't disappoint. Footbed is wide and very comfortable. Leather is soft and supple. As always, Zappos' performance was top notch. Very pleased!

I'm a 14 normally but went with a size down on these. I also have them in 14 and the soles are actually the exact same size and cut but the 13s are a better fit. The leather will stretch and they end up looking better.

Over the past 4 years, I've purchased this shoe in brown (3 times) and black (once). This is by far the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever worn. It's one of the only shoes that I have that doesn't rub a hole in the heel of my socks (the inside of the shoe is incredibly smooth). The trade off is durability. The shoes don't hold up for longer than a year if you wear them at least a few times per week. They are easily scuffed (polish helps increase the lifespan), but it's absolutely worth the loss in durability to have such a comfortable dress shoe. -1 Overall star for the durability loss. PS-I don't know why the laces look crazy in the picture, they are just normal laces.

Great shoe, I have a narrow foot and it fits well. Love the small bit of elastic that connects the tongue to the shoe. Gives great flexibility for narrow or bigger feet.

This is a very comfortable business casual shoe to wear to work, perhaps the most comfortable shoe in the price-range that I had ever owned. The shoe does start to show wear early, and is very easy to scuff. I've worn this shoe almost daily to work for five months, and am about to toss this pair and order a new one.

These are good looking shoes for work. They rook a couple days to break in as they were slightly stiff above the toes and in the sole. But they were comfortable after that.

These are super comfortable. Lightweight with all rubber soles. The problem is that the leather looks cheap, and is extremely soft and fragile. Creases form quickly and the slightly scuff will take a chunk out of the shoe. They are not worth the price overall.
