I bought these because my other rain boots are a little "industrial" looking. These taper up the back side of the calf nicely. I typically wear men's size 9 to 9.5 and/or somewhere between 42 to 43 Euro. I was a little concerned these would be too small, but they actually fit perfectly. Also, no problems tucking in denim. Now if it would just rain.

Purchased these graphite gray wellies to work in a wet greenhouse and of course for rainy days. The actual color is a bit lighter than shown on the screen. I usually wear an 8.5M and the 8 fits perfectly with a little toe room. Developed calf muscles of 14.5 inches or less will fit these wellies for easy on and off. Can get sweaty after a couple of hours of wearing the wellies, but the inner fabric doesn't get stinky. Basic water rinse will keep the outer surface clean and leather wipes will restore the gloss after a lot of wear.

Very sturdy.

I wanted these boots so bad! So excited when I finally found the color. Just got them in the mail, and I have about a 17 inch calf from dance... these boots didn't stand a chance. I didn't even have a chance to see if the actual foot part fit, I couldn't get them on!

They\'re fantastic! I usually hate rainy days, but now I look forward to them so I can wear my boots. I hate driving in them though, they get caught under my seat.

Fabulous! I live in Houston where we have amazing downpours. I need a true rain boot that looks great and will keep my feet and ankles dry. These are the best. I can wear them with leggings, shorts, jeans, short dresses. They look cute with almost anything. Plus the navy blue color is a little softer than black and looks great with white jeans! Zappos shipped them next day just in time for a huge rain!

I saw a lot of Hunter wellies on my last trip to NYC. These boots are pretty pricey as wellies go, but the quality is excellent, the cut is chic, and now that they come in dozens of colors and the Gloss finish, they are pretty hard to resist. How many boots can you wear in the garden and to work ?In terms of sizing, I normally wear a size 8 or 8.5 shoe, and the size 39 Hunters fit me perfectly with medium-weight socks. They are shaped like a riding boot, and fit my (average) calves exactly. I was so delighted when these boots arrived that I wore them with my cargo shorts while cooking dinner. The Violet color is bright and cheery without looking childish. It's still too hot to wear these where I live, but now I can't wait for the first cold, rainy day to pair them with some leggings or tights and a cute skirt!

Great boots, but buy a size bigger. I'm a pretty consistent 8, but the 8 was too tight, and I had to buy a 9 - a little too big, but with the fleece liners, fit pretty well.

Love them. They are just as cute and comfortable as I expected. I do wear socks with them for a solid feel, but I anticipated doing this.

I received my boots and they were beautiful. I typically wear a size 6.5 but ordered these in a size 6 and they are still roomy. I have been wanting a pair of these boots for quite some time and can't wait to wear them. I would recommend getting the welly socks with them as they are runner inside and out. I was especially impressed by the fact that I got them one day later and they are the brand used by the Queen of England.

So pleased with my purchase. Usually wear size 7, ordered a size 6 and fits perfectly with socks. The gloss finish is beautiful, less casual than the original matte finish. The navy is very blue, which I like - it is not so dark that it could be mistaken for black. A little difficult to take off by myself, but totally worth the effort.

I am absolutely in love with these boots. I pray for rain so that I might be able to wear them again! I actually bought these boots for a trip to Alaska, and they not only provided total protection from wet conditions (even standing calf-high in a rushing river), but I got major style and practicality points from the locals! The fit along the calf is awesome - just the right amount of space to tuck in jeans. I found that these fit true to size.

The high gloss is true to the ads. I have these in the black and have been trying to get them in the pea green; however, they are always out stock. I love these boots and would tell other friends about them. Wherever I wear them people all ways ask where I bought them.

Ok, 1st of all... the shipping was INSANELY fast! I literally ordered it yesterday.... it came... TODAY! Wow! This boot is awesome. It is a size to large, but I am going to keep it. I tried it on w/o socks and I don't have any here at work to try on with it, but so far... so good. This is going to look soooo great with my trench!

I ordered the turquoise. They turned out to be like a teal\/sea green. So I am sending them back. Other than the color difference they are a great boot. I am a true size 8 and I ordered the 7. It fit with the Hunter sock, and I have athletic calves. I would love to keep them if the color was right. Do not let the color difference deter you from purchasing the boot itself. They are adorable if you find a color that works for you.

They weren't for me, but I needed to match a rain coat. Great color! Great fit! Very happy!

The boots were absolutely gorgeous. The color was even more vibrant than I would've imagined, which I loved. Unfortunately, I have to join the group of reviewers whose calves are simply too big for Hunters. The left boot fit but the right boot was so small that it created a vacuum and it was almost impossible to get my leg out. I would still recommend these, however, since the construction was stellar and the color beautiful. If you think your calves might not fit, they're still worth a shot considering you can return them to Zappos for free.

Boots arrived lightning fast and look exactly as they did online. I wear an 8 (US) but ordered a 7 (US), and they fit perfectly. I am 5\'5\/120 and there is plenty of extra room in the calf to tuck in jeans, layer a few pairs of socks, etc. They come up to the bottom of the knee, which is very flattering, and I can sit comfortably in them without any issues. They have a satiny sheen, but are not glossy-shiny, which I was kind of hoping for - but I like them anyway. I have not had the opportunity to wear them in the rain yet, so I can\'t speak to their waterproof quality, but they are very comfy and the color is just as it looks online.

I got these for my daughter after her Chooka rainboots from Nordstrom's started cracking after only 4 months. So far they seem like great boots. My daughter wears them everywhere...even when it's not raining or snowing. I'm very happy with them thus far.

These boots are great! I have only wore them once but they are very comfortable and look so cute on. They are good quality.

I am so happy I finally purchased these boots. I love them! Based on other reviews, I went down a half size. The 7 fit perfectly. I was worried because of some reviews about the space around my calves because I have athletic legs, but they fit without a problem. I don't struggle to get them over my skinny jeans. If you are contemplating buying these stop, just get them. You will be pleased and wishing for rain!
