These boots are very nice but too tall for me. I'm 5'2" and will be trading these in for the shorter ones. Other than that I like the style, and the high gloss gives it just the right amount of sass. I just wish the wine colored ones came in the shorter version.

Bought these for my trip to Hokkaido for the Snow Festival. It was alright for a while, but after a while you feel every pebble you walk on, I even had the thick socks and insole inserted. I'd buy a really sturdy insole if you plan on walking or standing for long periods. But besides that, I get a lot of compliments (I got it in red). I have really wide calves and I didn't have any trouble getting in or out of these.

Oh my gosh! I love these boots! I am now trying to think of outfits that I can wear them with. They are so pretty in the bright purple, they just cheer you up on a rainy day! I also added the Hunter liners so I can wear them in the winter. Perfect for fall and winter in Boston. Very comfortable!

These boots are a classic for a reason! I purchased the black gloss and I'm totally in love with them! I originally ordered a size 11 because that's what I wear in other shoes (occasionally a 10.5) but I had to send them back for a 10 because my heel was slipping out of the shoe as I walked around. Overall, I love the style and they look great! They are a bit large around the ankle area, strangely. If you have large calves, look elsewhere. I'm 5'7 and average weight, and these boots have just enough room in the calf to fit skinny jeans or leggings, without tons of space to spare.

Love these boots. I wear size 6 1/2 so I first bought size 6 (after I heard they ran big) but my toes were hitting the front. I quickly exchanged them for a 7 and they are great - a little bit of extra room, but that will be perfect for when I put the liners in.

I wear 8 or 8.5 and got these in an 8. They fit perfectly with a regular sock. They would not fit with the welly socks. I bought the short original with the welly sock in a 9 which also fit, but I looked like I was wearing Santa Claus's boots! I am 5'8" about 130 and do not have a problem with these around my calves. They are lighter and fit better than I expected.

Love my boots. I wear a size 8.5 and ordered the 8. Even with the wellie sock, I have plenty of room. These boots are a great investment and I can definitely see wearing them for many many years. They aren't as shiny as they appear in the picture. I guess I was expecting something like patent leather, which they are not. Still, they have some sheen to them and this doesn't take away from my happiness of the purchase.

The first time I got my boots in the mail, one of the buckles was missing. I called Zappos and they were incredibly helpful. They sent my new pair of boots out for next day delivery and gave me a label to return my original boots at my earliest convenience. As for the boots themselves, I absolutely love them. The height is perfect and they definitely help with all the rain in Boston! I would definitely recommend the boots as well as Zappos in general, I had a really great experience.

I am so excited to have these fancy and trendy boots this season! I've been wanting/needing good rain boots for years but never found any that were cute enough, so I finally shelled out the big bucks to get these. I chose black because they are a classic and would still suit my style and age for years to come (and I hope/expect them to last years!) I normally wear a 9 in flats and an 8.5 in heels. Based on other reviews, I chose to get these in a 9. When they arrived, they fit me perfectly in terms of length of my foot, but they were so wide at the ankle area that they felt super loose to walk in. So I put on a pair of socks AND some thick legwarmers and they fit perfectly. BUT, I bought these for rain, not for snow/freezing cold, so I thought, realistically, I won't be wearing them with legwarmers. So I ordered another pair in an 8. They were a bit too short for the length of my foot, but felt less loose in the ankle. But they were more difficult to put on and take off because of that. So I sent those back and kept my original pair in size 9. I think the wide ankle area is just something I will have to get used to. As it it, the 9s are even a little hard to get on and off. I do have high arches to my feet and so maybe that's why its tighter in the ankle area when putting them on and off. But I have slender legs so then once they are on, the ankle area is loose! (Hence rating comfort 4 stars.) Ah well. I was torn on whether to get the original or the gloss, and another reviewer said that if you were torn, to get the gloss, so that's what I did. Perfect choice. Not sure if they will dull a bit or not, we'll wait and see. But they aren't too shiny and obnoxious or anything now, so that's good. They are a bit dressier in the gloss, I think, so a little more versatile in that way. They do have a bit of a plastic smell when they first arrive. I wore them out for a bit and was sitting in the car waiting for someone, and the smell in there was starting to get to me. But, I personally hate that new-plastic-y smell, so maybe I'm more sensitive than others. Its been a few weeks now and they probably don't smell at all. They've just been airing out inside by the door. I love how I can step on rocks and things and not feel it through the bottoms! Such a welcome change from wearing flip flops all summer! Even with the wide ankle issue, these boots are way too cute to pass up. I love them and can't wait for more rainy days so I can show them off! And of course Zappos has been amazing and helpful!

I love my Hunters! They are shiny and the best rainy day shoe, can't get enough of them! Best outfit investment this year.

My Hunter Original Gloss Boots just arrived. Love them. I ordered my normal shoe size 8, and they fit perfectly. Roomy enough to wear socks, but not sloppy. I am 5'4' and weigh 123 lbs. My calves are 13-1/2" and these books fit nicely over my riding breeches. They look so nice I don't want to wear them in the barn. If you are looking at these boots, don't hesitate. You will love them. I ordered them yesterday, and they were delivered this afternoon. You have to love Zappos.

Not the most comfortable boot but keeps me dry. Surprisingly heavy. I'm a 9.5, so ordered a size down, but it was difficult to take off, so returned it and ordered a size up (10).

Great rain boot! Stylish, functional, fun! I live in Florida where it is hot, humid, sunny, and rainy - all summer long. I was tired of getting soaking wet feet from wearing flip flops in the rain. I bought these and wear them with shorts while walking the dog in the rain - he gets wet and I can play in the sidewalk puddles and the marshy grass! Comfortable with or without socks. They are roomy, but not too big that I would size-down. They will probably last forever!

I bought these right before going to Dublin where it rains ALL the time! It arrived just in time. I was so happy that I purchased them because I definitely put them to good use in Ireland. I received many compliments. The boots were a little larger than I expected but when I layered on the fuzzy socks to keep my feet warm so it fit just fine. I also went walking along the beach and stomping through the rain. The boots kept my feet warm and dry! I love them. Can't wait to use them during the rainy season!

I was debating for a while on whether or not to spend so much money on rain boots but they are worth it! I'm 5'2" and they come up to my knee and there enough room to tuck in jeans or wear leggings with thick socks! So happy I decided to buy them!

Love! These boots are terrific. After agonizing over trying them out I'm so happy I did. Sometimes I have a hard time finding boots to fit my athletic calves, but these did with room to tuck in jeans and leggings. I noticed the Gloss is noted as measuring wider in circumference than the Original so that may help some of you with more athletic legs decide whether or not to try these. Love the fit and the feel.

I am doing my rain dance right now so I can wear these! I originally ordered the Trentorn Kelly and they they fit but only fit with my thin pair of skinny jeans. I do not have very thin calves, but never thought of them as large. I tried these in the store in 8 and 9, as I usually wear 8½. The 8 was a little snug in the foot and the calf so I ordered the 9. The 9 is great in the foot, but a little loose around the calf without pants which is still comfortable and they are great with jeans too. Comparing these to the others that I have not sent back yet I am so glad I went with these. They are taller and less slim but definitely more like rain boot look and protection I was looking for.

These boots are fabulous. They are perfect for super rainy days, comfortable, and breathable. I am a size 8 and that size is perfect. They are not too glossy and easy to take care of. The instructions are included in the nifty box they come in. Trust me, they are worth it!

Awww, I'm so sad. I received these in the mail today (Zappos you do a great job with next day delivery), couldn't wait to get off work and try them on. They are so tight at the legs. I just don't understand...I don't have thick calves and these were simply hugging my leg. Jeans could never fit in these. So sad because I truly loved these and I will have to return them.

If you have a farm as I do, these are a necessity They are the best in rubber boots. They are cute even though they are utilitarian. True to size and comfy.

I already had these in black but love them so much I wanted to get a colorful pair just for those days when I want a pop of color. I live in Los Angeles so I hardly have a need for rain boots but I wear them when it's 75 and sunny because they're so comfy and chic, albeit out of place and unnecessary haha. the quality is great and the pillar box red is insanely cute. So happy!

For years, I refused to wear rain boots, because I thought they looked clunky and ugly. I didn't think twice about buying these. Hunter makes the rain boot stylish! These boots are very comfortable and durable. They are also great for the snow! Just make sure you buy the liner for this Hunter boot as well.

I received my boots the other day and I'm thrilled with my purchase! I normally wear 7.5 to 8 and the 7 is a great fit. I still have plenty of room to wear a welly sock. I'm 5'7 with slender toned legs and found the calf circumference and shaft length to be perfect.

I love them! They are the most comfortable rainboots I've ever had on and they look and feel great. Very sturdy boot with substantial sole. They do run at least a half size big so the 6 fit me and I am usually a 6.5 or a 7. So glad I could get them on sale. Can't wait for a rainy fall!
