I actually got my Hunter original gloss boots from the Hunter website and was unable to leave a review. These boots are so comfortable! I wear a true size 7 and decided on a 7 by researching every review on every website. That was a great choice because they fit awesomely, I can wear the wellies socks and skinny jeans inside, and I have room to wiggle my toes comfortably! Buy them!

After reading a number of reviews I couldn't decide if I should order up or down a size. Since I am typically an 8.5 or 9, I went ahead and ordered the size 9. Way too big! Need to send them back and get a size 8. Even with thick socks my feet were sliding all around in the boots. The Graphite color was also a little more blue than I'd expected.

I have dealt with Zappos on numerous occasions. The service has always been superb. The return policy is so helpful and the product list can't be beat.

I have big calves (usually fitting into boots that have a circumference of 15.5 - 16.5 inches) and I really didn't think twice when I ordered these as I figured rain boots are always roomy in the calves. Well, they're pretty snug - in fact, when I first tried them on I was convinced that I would need to send them back. I even asked Zappos if it was possible to stretch them (it's not). After an afternoon of stewing over my big calves, I tried them on again with some leggings. They're super snug, and I have to fight a bit to get them off, but they are so cute that I had to keep them. I actually love wearing them now. I'll likely never fit jeans into them, but so long as I can do leggings that works for me. The color is bright and glossy - I got matching ones for my 4.5 year old!

I have always wanted these boots, but never wanted to spend the money. I finally broke down and purchased them and am so glad that I did. They are so cute! I love wearing them. My daughter also happens to wear a size 7, so they occasionally disappear as she will wear them to school. Just remember, there is essentially no ventilation to these boots, so your feet can get hot on days when it's not super cool outside.

These boots are hands down the best purchase I have ever made. I was on the fence for a long time since, to me, spending over this much on a pair of rain boots seemed quite excessive. I went through three other less expensive pairs of rainboots before I finally caved. I was traveling to Italy for a backpacking trip and planning on bringing a pair of leather boots. When the forecast predicted rain for a couple of the days, I got nervous I'd ruin the leather boots. I ordered these boots and they were literally a Godsend on my trip. I wore them every single day. I got no blisters and my feet never got wet. Not to mention they are pretty attractive and fit right in with the high style of the Europeans. I also ordered the fleece liners and they were perfect. My feet were warm and dry the entire trip and I sometimes wore the liners as socks to keep my feet warm at night. My travel companion (my college roommate) was literally green with envy as she walked around Florence with her faux-suede boots. The second we got home, she got online and ordered herself a pair of Hunter rain boots vowing to never travel Europe without them again.

Very comfy rain shoes. Love them. I live in Illinois so I can wear them all the time in this weather. My size is 6 and shoes are little bigger, I have lot of space. I can put warmer socks and they still fit.

I want to say that I ordered these boots in a size 8 and when I got them they were too big, so I called up zappos and they were awesome they sent me a size 7 the next day. I really love these boots and ii get compliments all the time. Thanks zappos for being awesome.

Normally I don't write a review, but I love these boots. I usually take a 7 or a 7.5. I ordered a 7 in these because I heard they run large and they fit great with enough room for a thick sock. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and I joke with my husband about wearing them to run at the gym. Very happy I spent the extra money on hunters! I am going to buy a matching pair for my 1 year old!

Awesome boots! I love the color because they go with virtually anything and very comfortable. They are actually warmer than I thought they would be, unless you walk directly in snow (then I would suggest some warm socks as well). I love these!

Love these boots, I bought them to wear during Mardi Gras in New Orleans and I was SO happy I had them! They protected my feet from the filth of the streets and were super cute and stylish. I bought and 8.5 and that is generally my perfect size. With thin socks they were great, with the welly socks they were pretty tight.

This boot is the best for slushy weather - they are not the warmest, but better than most boots I've had. I also bought the socks to go inside for extra warmth, but it makes it a bit snug which is why I gave it 4 stars for comfort - that and at first the boots are really really stiff (so make sure you break the boots in before you try to drive with them). I usually wear a 7.5 in heels and sometimes an 8 in running shoes, so I went with an 8. The 8 fits perfect. The only other issue I have is that when I cross my legs, the little side metal clasp hits my other leg - not fun. All in all though, I would recommend this boot.

Very cute and stylish. Runs kinda big. I wear a size 7 and I ordered a size 7. They are too big when I don't wear the welly sock with them. My daughter is an 8.5 and I ordered her an 8 and it fits great.

Tried other boots such as Kamik Jennifer for cheaper price but those were way narrow & uncomfortable. Sent back! Went for the Hunters and love them! Worth the extra money! Comfortable! True to size with room for thick pair of socks.

I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 size shoe and after reading the review I ordered a size 7. They fit perfectly, a little tight with the welly socks but it's still comfortable!

These boots are great and fit true to size. Since they don't have 1/2 sizes, we went down a size because the boot fits better on the smaller side as most water boots do! Great boot and nice looking.

LOVE these boots! very stylish and the fit is perfect! I wear an 8.5 and as advised I sized down to an 8 PERFECT! love the glossy finish on these boots. I would love to own a short pair in the shiny red color. A must have for all fashionistas that want dry feet!

I love these boots! So comfy, fashionable and fun. Just wish it would rain more so I could get more use out of them! Definitely size down at least a half size. I am an 8.5 and the 8 fits perfectly.

Lovely color! Made to keep the wet out, but not the cold - will probably be purchasing an Ugg-insole for warmth. My regular size is an 8, but I purchased a 7 in these after reading reviews, and they still fit with a semi-thick sock. They fit my average-to-athletic sized calf snugly. Definitely can be worn rain or shine!

These wellies are GREAT! They keep my feet warm and dry even in very cold wet weather. I would suggest these to anyone! I purchased some wellie socks to go with them and have enjoyed the custom look they give them. The only downside is that the ankle is a little stiff for driving in. They might loosen up, but for now it makes it a little work.

These boots are one of the best purchases made ever! They are perfect for rainy or any wet conditions. I am a 7½ in most shoes and boots so I bought the 7. They fit perfectly. I can still wear wellies or wool socks with them and have skinny jeans tucked in. I layer the socks over the jeans and then put my foot in the boot and they fit great. I have athletic calves and tried the Huntress as well, but I like the sleeker look of the originals. That is just my opinion. They are probably not the best choice for minus zero conditions, but I brought them on a trip to Oregon over Christmas and it was cold in the 30's and 40's and rainy and they were perfect to walk the dog on the ranch in muddy contains. I bought the gloss black. I think my next pair would be in a fun color. They are worth the price if you will be using them a lot. I live in Southern California and the mornings in the back fields are cold and damp so these are perfect for trudging through those conditions with the pup, but the gloss looks great going around town too!

I bought these red boots for my daughter for Christmas and she loves them! She has worn every chance she gets. I also purchased the Hunter welly boot socks - but those had to go back the seams bothered her.
