I purchased those boots for my 15yr old daughter for Christmas and she loves them! Size was a perfect fit. As long as u have on warm socks your feet won't get cold

Love these boots! So great in rain and snow. In cold weather, with a liner or the inserts, your feet stay warm. Looks great with skinny jeans or leggings.

I love these boots they are so gorgeous. I got the original tall gloss violet hunters. I am usually an 8 but I ordered 7 and they fit perfectly! These boots are so comfortable! They keep your feet warm in the pouring rain.

My daughter wanted these for her 12th birthday. It is the hot thing where we live now. She loves them and they are practical, so yay. They fit true to size. We got the grey glossy ones - the kids like the glossy ones. They go great with all the leggings she wears. Size 8 felt true to size, but she is usually a 7.5.

I love these boots! They keep my feet so warm and toasty. I am an 8.5-9 and was conflicted about what size to order after reading some reviews. I ordered a size 9 to be sure I could fit leggings and/or pants underneath in addition to to the welly socks. They fit perfectly. The original gloss looks great too!

Great boot and very comfortable! Only being 5ft tall, wishing I would have bought the short ones though. Not the easiest to drive in!

Love these boots. I did, however, have to exchange them for a smaller size. My actual size (6), I seemed to feel my heel slip up...and it felt like I was wearing an enclosed closed (if that makes any sense) but the size 5 fit great and I love them!

I love my Hunter boots! They are very cute, and very waterproof! I thought they fit well with regular socks or extra warm socks.

Love these boots -- fashionable in the rain! They are very tall, so might not work for shorter people. Also, the boot shaft is narrow so if you have bigger calves, go for the Huntress instead. Love the high-gloss too.

I just received my Hunter boots today. They are exactly as advertised. I really like them. My recommendation if you are a size 9 as I am and you intend on wearing regular socks or the fleece Welly socks then order the boots true to size. If not, then order a size down. Once I inserted the Welly sock the boots fit snug but not too tight. Without the socks they are just a little loose fitting. I agree with other comments about how they are best worn with skinny jeans or leggings because the shaft of the boot is narrow. I also had to pull kind of hard to take the boots off. But that's not a big deal. Overall a great purchase. Worth the money spent. Zappos got them out to me within 4 days. I also bought a pair for my daughter and she likes her boots as we'll. I hope this review helps someone who's thinking about buying a pair. Considering purchasing a shorter pair at a later date. Enjoy!

First of all, Zappos delivery and customer service is perfection. Secondly, these boots are beyond adorable. Like so many others, I had been eyeing Hunter boots for a while, unwilling to take the plunge. I'm so glad I did! :) Nothing cheers up a rainy/snowing day like PURPLE RAIN BOOTS! So adorable. :) I heart Zappos.

Just received these! Excited I've always wanted a pair! I am an 8 and I ordered an 8 and they are a great fit, especially if you get the welly socks.

I absolutely love these boots. Like other reviewers I did sit on the fence for a bit but went with the stylish Sandhurst Carlyle first but alas my calves (15") will not allow me to wear them with thick leggings or skinny jeans. Not is all lost since these babies fill the bill (they were my second choice). I love them (even if some think it is crazy to pay so much for rain boots). You have to love the haters. I did buy them one size smaller (my shoe size is 9) and they are perfect. I hated the idea of walking around where it felt like I had too much shoe to lift (rubber can be heavy) so I went with a cozier fit. All I know is that I will get another pair of Hunters once they make another stylish pair (that does not have a slim fit such as the Sandhurst Caryle or the Sandhurst Savoy). Thanks, Zappos, for the easy exchange and one day shipment of my new glossy babies - I am ready for some wet weather.

I've been wanting a pair of Hunters for a long time now, and my hubby said to go ahead and order some for my birthday! Yay! SO glad I read all the reviews first. I am consistently a size 9 in every brand on the planet except Hunter, apparently. I ordered the 8's and 9's to try on and the 8's were perfect, even with the think Hunter Welly socks. My advice is to order 2 sizes so you can try on together & just send back whichever doesn't fit since Zappos is so awesome about shipping and returns!

Great boot, slim look but not tight around the calf, comfortable on my feet. Ordered reg. size and down one size and kept the smaller.

Perfect! I read the reviews and ordered a size down. great for Kayaking this fall, but bought inserts for winter warmth.

I really enjoy my Hunter boots. I have wanted a pair for awhile now and finally decided to order some. I love the color, the style, and the comfort. I will say, however, that I probably could have gone a size down. I usually wear an 8.5 and sometimes a 9. So since they don't have half sizes I decided to be safe and go with a 9. I haven't tried the boots on before I had these but I feel an 8 would have fit just fine.

Perfect rain boot! There's no way around it. I have a thinner calf, so I'm notoriously wary of purchasing knee-high boots sight unseen, but I took the plunge due to Zappos' famously speedy return policy. Glad I did! The boot shaft isn't wildly oversized like most rain boots, thus lending this pair an unprecedented air of chicness. Buy them immediately and pray for rain!

I am so excited to finally have my boots! Haven't had a chance to wear them out & about yet though. Color is exactly as shown. I got a size bigger to allow for the cute welly socks I got with them. Without the socks, 9 would have fit me just fine. I've never had a problem with boots & my calves, but I have plenty of room for my jeans & socks. I'm looking forward to Winter so I can sport my cute new Wellies!

Love these boots! I never thought I'd hope for rain...but now I do. ha We're building a house and I'm often called on site. I keep these boots in the trunk so I can slip them on as needed...and look stylish while trudging through the mud.

I love these! They are comfortable like Muck Boots, but way more stylish. They run big, so I was happy that my wide, 7 1/2 size feet feel good in a US 7. I can't wait until it rains!

I am very happy with ordring the Hunter boots from Zappos. I orderd a pair in tan for my grand daughter who is off to college. She decided she didn't like the color,so I returned them which was very easy and no extra cost involved. I reordered a pair in glossy black, exactly what she wanted. with the sock insert they fit perfectly, even if they are 1/2 size larger. She feels they definetly give her an edge in style.
