These rain boots really are the best. I've had my pair (in graphite gloss) for about seven years and they are still in good condition, though they do look their age. Oiling them regularly helps the condition, but they are still 100% waterproof. During the time I've had them I lived in Oklahoma (sudden downpours, humid weather), upstate New York (cold, snowy winters, rainy autumns and springs), Seattle (lots of rain), and now Okinawa (hot, humid, but rainy winters). My Hunter boots have been essential in all locations. I have since bought Hunter kids boots for my older kids after cheaper boots fell apart. Hunter's website recommended half sizes go down, since I'm a 5.5 or 6, I went down to a 5 and I still have to wear two pairs of socks for a good fit. My oldest daughter wears a size 4 Youth/big kids and that fits me perfectly. When my current boots need replacing I'll be buying these again, probably in the same color.

I love these boots, they are big for your foot but with socks and a liner you should be good to go. They came out of the box with white markings all over them, at Dillards they told me it was the distressed look, not true, you can polish them off with a damp rag and then apply a little olive oil and they will shine right up. Size 10 fit perfect with a very light sock, however 11 gave more room, I'm a true 10 1/2. I put a shearling foot bed in it also

They are such a pretty cherry red! Shipping is always fast and item looks just like the picture. Love my hunters! I got my son the same paid in toddlers and we always get complimented.

Well-constructed boot, makes walking through puddles fun. Being in between sizes, opted for the larger and wear the boots with thick socks - they're easy on/off. Hunter boot spray takes care of any bloom which appears on the gloss.

I have a gray pair of these that look just about brand new after 6 years. I just bought a new pair in red. To follow up on people saying they feel a size larger that marked, yes they do. However, they're meant to be that sizing so that the boot socks fit in them. Once you have the socks in them, they're 100% true to size. It just depends on how you plan on wearing them. If you don't want the socks, then I recommend ordering a size down. I am usually always a 7, and my original pair was 7's. They are big, but not huge. It never bothered me that I had extra room when the boot socks weren't in, but when the socks are in, they fit perfectly.

Great stylish boots. Great for all seasons. They are very warm when boot socks are added. Easy to clean also. I say true to size. I wear 7 1/2 and sized down to a 7 just like Ugg's.

Love my new Hunter boots! Get a ton of compliments on them. I am normally a 6 and the 6 fits great. I also got the cable boot socks, and these fit comfortably over a normal pair of everyday socks. Would definitely recommend!

Best boots ever! I can comfortably wear these all day. I usually wear size 7.5 - and I ordered these in 7, and still have room for Hunter boot socks. The red is awesome - I get lots of compliments of the cheerful color.

These are a beautiful boot and the shaft worked for my legs, hitting right below the knee (I am just over 5'0"). They run large in the foot -- my usual size is 7.5 and the 6.0 fit my foot. I returned them,however, because they were a little too heavy and clunky for me to walk comfortably in. They are, however, GORGEOUS and so well-made!

Just what I wanted for the wet weather we have been experiencing in the Midwest lately. Makes wearing rain boots fashionable. Wear warm socks or get a liner if you intend to wear in the cold as it offers no warmth. Quite the reverse happens since it is rubber. Although it can also be fashionable in the winter, be careful when walking through icy patches as it offers no traction.

Can't say enough +++++++ about Zappos customer service!!!! After buying the refined boots in size 5 for a very narrow foot and giving them as a Christmas gift they were just too small. No longer had packaging and boots were in another state! The team at Zappos sent the Originsl version as a replacement and allowed the gift recipient to return the refined version in that packaging! Be careful of the refined Hunter they are very very narrow! But orinigsk versions are super comfy warm and worn all day!! Thank you Zappps!! Life long customer!!

Love these boots. They have held up well in rain and snow.

I bought these as a gift for my daughter for Christmas. She loves the way they fit, says they are very comfortable. I like the service I receive from Zappos, their customer service is second to none.

The first pair of shoes I received had white stuff all over them I called customer service they wer fast and quick on getting me a new pair which are nice and comfortable

These are such wonderful rain boots that will last you for years! I bought them in black since I felt like that was the most versatile and would go with my outfits and not stand out. They are comfortable and actually pretty stylish.

bought these in red - this is my 5th pair of hunter rain boots, 3rd pair of "glossy". I've decided I like the glossy version better than the matte. The red is very festive and is a nice pop of color with lots of outfits. I'm typically a size 8 in shoes and I wear a size 8 in hunter boots. If you are a 1/2 size, I recommend sizing down.

Boots are really comfortable the flood material makes it look very fashionable and new...I combined them with the Hunter socks and makes a perfect pair

LOVE these boots, and I knew I would. I have had army green rain boots from Chinese Laundry for years, so I was used to the limited movement of a rain boot. They are really tall. (Some reviews said they were too tall and chaffed the back of women's legs when they walked, they don't on me. I am 5'4 but have longer legs.) The only issue is that it's tough to sit crossed legged because of where the buckle hits. But that's ok, I will forgo! I am a pretty solid 7 1/2 and I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly, not too big. I also ordered them for my daughter in an 8 and she wears an 8 1/2, hers also fit perfectly.

Love these boots. Will get "chalky" when sitting but shoe shine typically takes care of it. Pretty comfortable, but not the easiest to get off for my wide feet.

I bought these boots for my 16 year old daughter for Christmas and she hasn't worn anything else since getting them. She says they are comfortable and stylish. They look cute with a variety of outfits.
