This bag is roomy enough to accommodate a large wallet and other items. The water bottle pocket holds a 16 oz steel bottle and the other holds a compact umbrella. These can bulge into the main compartment slightly but never interfered with my fat wallet. The organizer in the front flap is structured enough to secure loose, small items but not so structured that it is useless. Holds large Smartphone, pens, notepad, for quick access. Pocket on back roomy too. Love it. Strap does slip on shoulder - what bag doesn't- but I wear it cross-body. Sturdy, dependable workhorse of a bag but looks stylish too.

The purse works well as a travel purse. I only wish it were a tiny bit wider so it could hold my 11 inch computer.

I really like Overland products. They are designed and made (!) in America and they are really functional. This is my 4th Overland bag (I have different sizes for different purposes). I can find anything on the first try and that is very important to an impatient busy woman like me. The color is unusually vibrant and very beautiful.

The cross body is essential when you need to access items frequently, such as passports etc...the flap in the front makes this so easy! I also wanted a bag to accommodate my iPad and this bag is perfect.

I purchased this purse as a result of having to retire my old "travel" purse after 12 years of faithful service and several trips to Europe! This purse is the perfect replacement...plenty or room and compartments; love the crossbody fit.

I bought this bag for a 3 week trip to Italy and loved it. Very well organized, held up very well. I just wish it came in a lightweight leather so I could use one exactly like it for business back home! The only issue was that with a full water bottle in one of the side pockets it got a little heavy, so I had to drink it!

I used this on my recent trip to Seattle. It fit all basic necessities for the trip. It was very comfortable as a cross body bag and it was easy to access. I loved the back pockets for my boarding pass and the secured pocket inside for valuables which are also very easy to get into.

As many have said before me, this is an awesome shoulder bag (can't bring myself to call it a "purse")! It's spacious and sturdy with plenty of room for whatever you need. Great pockets all around. The material is very sturdy, which I appreciate. The only complaint would be the small leather patch at the front - the first Donner I had had a neat little Asian character in its place. But it's no big deal. Versatile, sturdy, stylish - it's a great travel companion. I love this bag.

This is the best thing I bought in a long time. Going shopping is a breeze now. I love this, all the compartments are great. They even have a place to put my bottle of water so it does not spill. There are two places for the water. Nothing gets lost in this bag at the bottom, as what usually happened. There is room for everything and everything in its place. And best of all, it is light to carry even when it is all filled up. Love it and so will you.

Perfect bag for traveling/sight-seeing. Plenty of pockets, easy to carry a water bottle and easy to grab your camera, phone, whatever. Small pockets for your hotel key, chapstick and car key. I've used this for 2 trips this month and it's been great; leaves your hands free and so much better than carrying a purse.

This satchel, with zipper-closures and quick-access outside pockets make it ideal for an active traveler. I am personally not a fan of how the Overland logo is integrated on the satchel (see picture: large obvious leather patch). I feel like it detracts from the aesthetics of the item, resulting in 4/5 stars for style. Quality of construction and materials is very good. The satchel is very comfortable to wear/use, and has a wide cross-body strap that doesn't dig.

I ordered this bag to replace an old healthy back bag. I like it. The interior is a lighter color which is helpful when trying to locate something. The pockets are handy especially the lined one for cell phones. The exterior is strong and easy to clean. The handle is different from the old bag so I am still trying to get used to it.

I love this bag! I have always been a little unorganized, lets be honest I'm lucky if I can find my wallet! This bag has been a dream. I had big changes in 2011 so I decide it was time to organize 2012! This bag has been a dream. If have found a place for everything I need to carry along with me, my date/organizer fits perfect in the inside unzipped pocket; wallet, small toiletry bag, pocket knife, handkerchief, and lets an apple fit great in the main compartment, with space to stuff in a light scarf if needed. The external pocket under the flap has a fleecy spot for phone or glasses, places for pens, a zippered pocket(which I use for a small first aid kit) and some other small storage spots. The 2 side pockets which are not very visible from the photos are great for a drink bottle (previously stated by lots of other reviews, I was a bit dubious but those pockets are great! I spent 2 months reading reviews and specs on different bags and I have no regrets with my choice! I know this is wordy but hope it helps! P.S. I do a lot of foreign travel and this bag is everything I've ever wanted in a travel 'purse'

This purse is awesome. I use the side bottle pockets for my sunglasses and reading glasses...which is the reason i wanted this purse. The pockets for organization are wonderful. I'm sending back the blackberry and exchanging for the black. This is my favorite purse company. I love this!

I love the style of this bag, but the color is not as described. It's very dark burgundy. I thought it was going to be more red. other than that it was very nice.

Thank goodness for Zappos. I ordered a bunch of bags and narrowed it down between Donner from Overland and Brooklyn from Keen. I love the side pockets which holds my 32 ounce H20 bottle. My only complaint is that there aren't enough pockets in the main compartment for my cell phone and other stuff. The front pockets are too easily accessible. Also the key ring is a small flimsy piece of plastic. The Brooklyn had a better metal key ring. Also I wished the back pocket had a magnetic closure like the Brooklyn. Even though Donner was more expensive I eventually settled on it because of the color and the side pockets. Thank you Zappos for making all this possible!

Nice bag but very small, I was looking for a work bag and thought I had found it in this bag, but no go I hated to return the bag but I had no use for it!
